It should... Half the fun is reading the back-and-forth between all of you! As for the Krew, um, no gots the time! I have much to do over at Castle Roland (shameless plug). Reading here is my break and recreation time!

Sometimes, reading the comments section is more fun than reading the chapter! Um, just saying... @kbois, I was working on another project until just after 6:00 am EST. I kept refreshing the page, hoping to see the last chapter. And perhaps getting a comment in one the first page. DRATS!!! A cure implies that the hybrids will have full function of their abilities... Else it is not a "cure." BTAIM, I still have to wonder what a full mating will do to Elijah... Um, what will Elijah's mating bite do to Ashton? I do have some thoughts on this, but I will wait ... patiently, I might add.

Boise State Broncos. Colors: Blue and Orange. First football team (ever) to play on non-green astro turf (Blue since 1986) and played in the Albertson's Stadium. This stadium is affectionately called the "Smurf Dome" (even though it is not a 'dome') by the idiots in Boise. Enough trivia... Congrats @kboison your well deserved promotion.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one to have had my doubts about that vehicle. It was just an odd occurrence to put in the story. @kbois generally doesn't do that.

Yes, but dogs are for people that need someone/something to fawn all over them!

That's in every Beginning Author's Toolbox. Comes as standard equipment. @kbois, you did buy one when you started writing, didn't you?
-
Those were kinda my thoughts, also. I'm leaning more towards the laptop though. Now... Since this is now technically Saturday (MST), when the dang chapter gonna drop?
-
That's exactly how cliff hangers are supposed to go!

I disagree and here's why... (This is all assuming that Wesley gets to his family) Wesley comes in. Everyone begins all the praises and hallelujahs ...and then... Issac. Baggage. Thrown right in the face of the old man. Nope. Nuttin' good gonna come ta dat! Yes, Wesley is stronger, but subservience to daddy is ingrained. Call me a pessimist.

Savage Moon was my intro to Comsie and his writings, way back when. Personally, I just don't see dear-old-daddy changing his stripes. Oh, I suspect he will be all nice and such... Until everybody leaves. Then the whip comes out.

I quite understand that. It is one of the reasons I like reading stories at GA. They are stories. You know, they have a plot, character development, conflict, resolution, etc. However, I wasn't saying that you have to go into any specifics. Loose allusions to the reality of things you have already alluded to, might or might not be called for. You're the author, not me.

So, the twins aren't quite feral. Perhaps closer to human than we think. Why would I think that? Consider: They were twins who were kept together. The twin bond was not broken. Granted, that is not a pack, but I'm betting it was the best substitution they had. It was also something none of the other hybrids had. Even after eight years of abuse, they still had each other to console with. Now add in that these hybrids are more human looking than any of the others we have (so far) seen. This doesn't mean they will not need counseling. Eight years of captivity and abuse is nothing to sneeze at! It is likely that even though the mate bond is going to be strong, actually having sex with their mates (ostensibly to cement the bond) may be very problematic. My deviant brain is telling me that in order to have intimate relations with their mates, both twins and mates must be present at the same time... At least at first and perhaps for a while after that. That would be something that Elijah and Tyler would have to work out. If, as I suspect, the twins were actually separated (out of visual sight of each other) during their captivity, that would be when the real physical abuse happened. Separated because of the rage the other twin would display. You don't want your "investment" to harm itself. So using one or both for sex would occur when both are present. Even if separated by bars, they would at least be in visual sight of each other, hence "together." OK, enough of my rambling...

The thing about endings? A good author always leaves a few tidbits for their readers to flesh out in their own minds. Yes, there are some readers who want their hands held the entire way. But it's really not necessary. So I'm perfectly happy with they way Ronan and Becca left. Likewise, I'm happy with the possible future of Ivan's and Sho's happiness. I can build my own story in my minds eye. The other thing about endings is that a great author leaves just enough that a spin-off could possibly occur at a future point. Or not! Aditus, thanks for a wonderful trip down your world of imagination. All the best, Al

I too think Diarmad overreacted. Again! He really, really needs an infusion of Nico/Noël.

I'm thinking even Mengele was more humane than these... I don't think any of them should survive. There's an old adage: Power Corrupts. Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely. Al

Oh My! Forget the lions and tigers and bears... Coming in this late, at least I know there are only 3 more chapters. Although, considering what is going on, that's hardly a consolation. Al

And here I thought it was just the ice cream they called, "rocky road!"

Would it be unkind or perhaps uncouth to say, It's About Fucking Time!

See? I made it to the 3rd book! well, at least the start!

Noël is still a young man. So off he goes to Japan to learn more about his skill. Diarmad has become a true king of his people. This is all good. What's screwed up is that after all is said and done, Diarmad still doesn't trust his mate. You cannot build a relationship without it. Of course, Noël has lost any (or at least most) trust he had for Diarmad. So it's kind of a mutual "I still love you, but I don't trust you" scenario. Glad to know there is a 3rd book. Perhaps there is still a glimmer of hope. Good story, Aditus. Al

I don't see the problem. After 60 or so years, Kris will meet his maker and all's well that ends well! Yeah, I'm that cold hearted! 🎃

Coming in so late, I didn't even pay attention to the posting dates. So a belated sorry you were ill for so long and certainly happy that you have your health back! So, I was only partially correct when I mentioned Balance. I had forgotten that all this started before Noël had left. Big Clue! All the best, Al
