    Chapter 15

I have never liked Elvis. That dislike has carried over to all covers. The fact is, I would rather listen to disco than anything Elvis!

    Chapter 28

Would you believe that Mark does? - Dang! @Paqman beat me to it! Regardless, I would have made a sweet chile sauce for dipping the Cajon Prawns in. Not saying the hollandaise sauce is wrong, if made New York style (spicy). All in all, dinner sounds like a treat!

    Chapter 27

Dare I say it? That's what a good chapter is for!

    Chapter 6 S3

Perhaps. I keep thinking that besides the one they help to snuff on Diné Land. Next, we see another one up by Mesa Verde. Now, we are way up on the Colorado River. That's about 250 miles Northeast of the Diné. It's only another hundred miles (Northeast) to Fort Collins (my gaydar has always been broke, so I suspect my spidey sense is also)! 😁

    Chapter 6 S3

I kinda feel sorry for Clint. He has come out of his shell and has idolized Mac and now has to say goodbye. Hopefully he will stay active as school starts! Yeah, I kept expecting it to show up, either on the river or that training camp.

    Chapter 14

Before I go off the rails, I want to know what the autopsy says. It's too early in the game, and there is too little information to even begin to guess. Our group of sleuths neglected one major piece of the puzzle: The note and the necklace. The person who sent it knew both Joey and Will and knew that they were friends.
  7. The thought occurred to me as I read this line... If their magics could be combined, they would be a force that could literally change their world!

    Chapter 26

It is one thing to be able to write well enough that people are attracted to what you write. It is quite another to be able to read to others, where they feel part of the written word. To combine both qualities into one person is a rare but happy event. Mark, as I read this chapter, I felt that Tony combined both of those qualities. I was happy to read and imagine being in that audience. Well done!
  9. From my viewpoint, Danny is the fated mate, and Theodore is not just the enemy, but the curse.

    A Good Deed

Well, golly gee! Another shoe has dropped. The question being: who has it dropped upon?

    Chapter 6

No. I found out after I came back to the US that he had died in the jungles...
  12. I don't think those ungrateful nobles come from just Arcum!

    Chapter 11

LOL! Yes, St. Christopher... Patron Saint of Travelers. Made the edit!

    Chapter 11

Most Catholics (of even modest means) will purchase a sterling silver St. Christopher Nicholas medal. Usually on a silver chain. So there is some monetary value in it (full disclosure: I'm a lapsed Catholic).

    Chapter 24

No, I think the next challenge is precisely what is about to happen: Guest Speaker! Tony has always been in the audience before this. The other side is way different!

    Chapter 11

Given Will's upbringing and the things that have happened, I don't think many of us would have handled stuff too differently... Except perhaps the pregnancy thing. That part is a bit out there!

    Chapter 11

Will obviously is not in a state of mind to make sound judgments on what to do with a supposed child of Joey's. Add to this that Joey was sleeping around with anything before Will's reveal. Whether or not this was Joey trying to convince himself of his own masculinity is rather irrelevant. I still think there are many possibilities for suspects, just based on Joey's behavior. Will needs some counseling, most skosh! The missing St. Christopher's medallion (assuming, because of the shape) is an interesting piece of information.

    Chapter 5 S3

Everyone else commented on most of the things I had to comment on. This was a good chapter where we had a lot of interaction with the characters.
  19. So, who do you believe? The clairvoyant who is also mad, or the clairvoyant whose cards are always the same? A better question might be: Why does Cassandra want Ryder dead?

    Chapter 44

This is the first mention of taking their armor (and sidearms) after several chapters. It makes me wonder what might happen on this trip! We've gone too long with all the peaceful crap!!! I feel a shoe is about to drop.

    Chapter 10

I've known a couple of people like Joey. They are users but are somehow constrained while they live at home. As soon as they get away from home, their true nature comes out. It generally ain't pretty. Assuming arguendo that the corpse is Joey, there would be many different suspects... Um, just line up all the boyfriends of the girls Joey screwed. Hell, line up some of them girls!

    Chapter 9

This would not apply to private hospitals. In this instance, this is a "public" hospital.

    Chapter 22

    I have never stopped learning.

    Chapter 22

When I encounter people like those in this story, I always ask them if they are followers of Christ Jesus (Christ is a Koine Greek derivative that means The Anointed One). If they answer yes, I ask them why they are following the Old Testament Laws instead of Jesus' words. Notice, dear Christians, Jesus doesn't make exceptions. Of course, this begs the question: Who is my neighbor? (I have an answer to that, also.) Generally, they will start spouting Paul. Hmm, does Paul know more than his messiah? Well, enough of my response to the religionists!!!

    Chapter 9

The only reason to visit Will would be to tell him to try again and get it right this time! Perhaps that would knock some sense into Will.
