    Chapter Twenty

    Yup. It's battle magic!
  2. Al Norris

    Chapter 3

Nor I, in my part of the US.

    Chapter 3

See? That's what I don't understand, at this moment. Aaron wouldn't answer his phone or email... It Was Aaron's decision. Not Tony's. Yet, here we see Tony almost wallowing in guilt for leaving. I can see how Tony might think that, but it takes two to keep a relationship going, and Aaron wasn't even trying.

    Chapter 3

Whatever has happened with Aaron, it sounds more and more like both Tony and Aaron are equally at fault here. It also sounds as if Tim and Guy blame Tony for whatever befell Aaron. The web has already become tangled!

    Shock

    Most evil! 😱😭

    Chapter 61 S2

If these are Civil War-era $20 gold pieces, they might include one or more 1849 Double Eagles. They would have to be very, very careful with this/these. There is only one known example of this coin, and it was actioned off for 18.9 million. There would be lots of questions about where it was found! I say "it" because you wouldn't want to let on you have more than one. It would devalue quickly, otherwise. Regardless, even the value by weight would make the silver coins worth having. Certainly any gold coins that were in poor condition. Anyway, it is good to see that they all came away with treasures, even if it takes a few decades (or centuries) to sell them off.

    Chapter 2

I will agree with this comment (on YouTube): So, it was 5 years and not ten? [blows a Bronx cheer]
  8. Yes. You simply cannot leave us like this!!! (he says as he struggles with his own story)

    Danger Zone

So, Pembroke is at least a wolf. That part of the clairvoyant's prophecy is correct. I do wonder why he has no scent. He must have smelled Ryder's scent, and there was no reaction, at least as there should have been if he had been Ryder's fated mate. Something is more than a bit wonky here!

    Chapter 2

Having been away for ten years, memories can often be bitter-sweet when coming back "home." We will see if that holds true with Tony.

    Chapter 33

I was glad that Marc could get Adam to understand that this was about him and not about the companies they both held. It was nice to see the Bonding Ceremony. I'm really hoping that Adam understands his Monster a whole lot better now.

    Chapter 14

It's like making a pot of stew... Ya just keep adding things and stirring the pot! 😉

    Chapter 14

Leaving Sammy and Gerry confronted by Lucas was a dirty trick! Having a bit of a cliffy in the middle of the chapter is a new twist! I'm sure that Brenda is laughing her head off! She comes home from her first date (in years) and finds her oldest waiting up for her. She did well to remind Neil that this was gonna happen to him.

    Chapter 1

Yay! Another trip to my favorite place in Australia!
  15. LOL!!! At least that many!
  16. Reading the comments is almost as entertaining as reading the story! Almost!!!
  17. I skipped reading all the comments after chapter 58. I needed to get to the end. And now, here I am. From the time Ambrose appeared, to the meeting of an uncle that Andy never knew about, to the renewing of the friendship with Eustice. Finding out what had been happening back in Carlsberg... The list just goes on. The wedding was simply wonderfully done. From meeting all relatives of Zander to the wedding service itself. Then the honeymoon and the brief telling of all the years that Andy and Zander spent together. Thank you for writing a story that rang true, and that could actually have happened.
  18. Hah! I was right! Fr. Brewster at the Episcopalian Church. Only I didn't give a thought about Ambrose showing up. I wonder who clued him in as to where Eric went... Somehow, I don't think I need to guess.
  19. I was racking my brain over what Andy's solution might be. I knew that emancipation was out of the question. Every State that I know of requires minors to have an income (not muddied by parental/guardian involvement) to support themselves. Andy doesn't have that. I'll admit that marriage wasn't on my radar, even with the clues about Garrett and Monica not liking the solution. The only hitch that I see is convincing the Judge to agree with Andy's solution (I'm assuming that Garrett and Monica would agree). He would want some kind of assurances (from both Andy and Zander) that this was what they really wanted and not just a means to thwart the court case(s). Now who was going to marry them? How about that nice paster whats-his-name at the church that Andy stayed at for a few nights and took care of the snow a couple of times? Why Church? Mama Costenza (sp). This still leaves the Carlsberg question open. Something that Chandler would love to find out!
  20. I'm in full agreement. Chandler will not give up, even if she has to do something extra-legal. Yeah, let's use that term. It's those issues back in Carlsberg that scare me. Issues that Chandler will find out about and use against Andy and the Stevensons.
  21. Ms. Chandler is a perfect example of the Peter Principle (by Laurence Peter and Raymond Hull, 1969. A business principle, which states that people are promoted to their highest level of incompetence). This was an Effective Communications text I was required to understand when I was a soph in business school. I've never witnessed anything to suggest that the premise was false. While I know that most CPS/FPS folks are hardworking people, many are on power trips. We find this in many administrative agencies where authority may be abused. I love that Andy is surrounded by family and friends who will battle this caricature of administrative efficiency! LOL!!! I also agree with others that the witch will try to "kidnap" Andy at school. Speaking of school, good thing Zander has a devoted fan base 😁 (go Terry)!
  22. This is where I have to disagree. Greg's actions were criminal. It was an act of vengeance. The boy Greg was caught with was younger than him. If Greg was 18, then he committed a felony. If Greg is under 18, then charges could still have been made. But that's the boy. How about the Coach who was fired? That means that Greg out him also. Here, it doesn't matter if Greg is 18 or younger. Either way, that Coach is going to jail... How long is the only thing that Greg's age would determine. Did Greg even think of this? No (ignorance of the law is no excuse... Not to a jury or the Judge). Now we come to the act of his FB post. By also outing all the other athletes, Greg opened up himself to civil charges... To include his parents if he was under 18. Greg's actions are reprehensible, vengeful, and criminal. Much more than merely petulant... Hang 'im high, says I! 😡🤬
  23. I love this chapter. I'll go one further than Tim... Watching Andy is like watching a butterfly emerge from its cocoon. He is developing (growing?) a personality. Everyone else has said what I felt while I was reading this. So other than the above is all I can add.
  24. As intimated, Mr. S's time with Andy was a bonding time. This was done with getting Andy his learner's permit and the long winding drive home. Then we have the phone call from Zander which almost turned into phone sex.😱 It appears that more walls are coming down since Andy wants to be touched and wants to touch. Perhaps that far-off dream of Andy's will come true! Maybe. We will have to see when Zander gets home and if Andy doesn't back-slide and freeze up!
  25. I'm another reader who likes the Name Andy has chosen for himself. He recognizes the contribution that Eustice gave him in helping to shape the new person he has become. I would like to think that sometime Andy goes back to meet Eustice and is comfortable telling him his story. Perhaps with Ambrose sitting there. That would go a long way to filling a debt that I'm sure Andy feels (even if only a subconscious thing).
