I think you are closer to what went through Will's mind than I would comfortably admit.🧐
-
This was a relatively calm and benign chapter with the one exception (and we know there had to be that exception) that was handled in a non-threatening manner. Well, non-threatening to many or most of us. What more could we have asked?
-
The only thing that bugs me about this chapter is the Hospital's Chaplain. Of course, that also depends upon the time frame (year) of our story. Any hospital that uses (or employs) a chaplain whose religion condemns homosexuality would not allow them to dialogue with any gay person. Especially a person who attempted suicide, who is also wrestling with his sexual identity. Since the proximate cause of the suicide is his sexual confusion, medical facilities after 2006 would lose their licensing if they did allow such. That aside, I really liked the chapter.

I suspect you could keep it in a spreadsheet!

A wonderful but sobering chapter. Visiting the gravesite... So many memories. So, are we going to link up with the others? If only briefly?

Boot - Trunk. Bonnet - Hood. (don't ask me! I just read a lot of British and Aussie stories) The demo had a few hundred miles on it. Meaning the engine was just broken in! Loved the whole car sales scene!
-
The basic problem is that unless you have experienced suicidal thoughts or even attempted to carry those thoughts out, you simply can't understand the depth of Will's feelings (The underlying depression). I knew as soon as Will locked himself in his room that he might attempt it again. Sorry to say, I was right.

Obviously, my 74-year-old memory has gaps!

I am assuming that somewhere along the line, the beings responsible for the alien ships will show their faces.
-
I felt that way, also.

I agree, I think Tony is going to buy a new ute for Aaron. Why new? Makes more sense business-wise. Loved the dream sequence. It gives hope that they will overcome their divergent paths and come back together. At least that's how Tony sees it. Moving to T-ville is likely contingent on the movie deal, though. Speaking of which, Tony is going to have to let Aaron know about his finances, sooner or later. I just hope that Aaron takes things in the right frame of mind.

There are several possibilities that the drawings may have played a part. One of those would be to desensitize Aidan... It is his field of study! @Josh Aterovis I'm sorry that you have had to go through that pain.
-
While I can understand why Aidan got rid of the drawings, they should have been preserved for Dr. Wohler to see. They represent the ideation that Will had before he attempted to act. They would have been instructive for the professor as they showed Will's progression. Nice chapter, Josh.

It's always a bitch when just as you start liking someone, they go and do something that undermines everything you thought about them. Good thing that George is giving Peter good advice along the way. Even if it's after a mistake, sometimes, that's the only way we learn.

I also thought the opening scene with Jeremy and Brad was among the best-written scenes so far. That thought has crossed my mind.

Friendship can sometimes be weird. We never really know who our friends might be until something unexpected happens to us, or is revealed by us to them. With what Joey has already done, I can see how much more he is capable of doing. Poor Will. I suspect that he will go through hell with the things I can think of Joey doing.
-
Well, that was everything I thought it would be. I just knew how Joey would take the news. What I didn't think was that Joey was that much of a homophobe. Then to top it all off? Joey sends an email to Will's Dad? What a self-righteous prick! It's a good thing that Laura was called in. It was the best thing that Aidan could have done. Anyway, it now looks like Will needs to find different employment.

@VBlew, I think you are correct. Not only was the bond that weak, but remember that Lachlan was able to have sex with Scarlett the Bald!
-
As far as the oath (and sex) goes, it makes no sense that Cian would look down on Desmond if Cian had given Desmond his mate (in Ash)! Then, of course, one never knows why gods do such things in the first place! LOL!!!

Um, it's not predictability, it's style! Yeah, let's go with style!!!😉

Why do I feel like Clint might like a bit more of that Show 'n Tell with Mike? I wonder how Devin might react? Or... So many things in my dirty little head!

Perhaps, but such words will not even make it through one ear, let alone go out the other! I think most of us have met that type before.

Oh boy! 🤣 It looks like Tony's sister has gotten herself in quite a fix! Although, oddly, if the two girls wanted a child, Jess having been pregnant by her girlfriend's brother, sorta keeps all the right genes! It looks like a trip to Sydney has been sorted. I hope it will not include the drama of meeting Dear Mommy while getting Jess' belongings.
