I find it incredibly erotic that Jake, knowing what Danny wants (and what he wants as well), is not only willing but also takes it very slowly. This shows me that Jake has deep feelings for Danny and doesn't want to hurt Danny in any way. I think what Jake is doing is building trust between him and Danny. Then there is Nate. Oh Boy! Having played as a straight guy, most of my life. And having had three ways several times (2 males and a female - you would think that might have clued me in), I know exactly how much fun that can be. As long as Roman doesn't mind boffing his sister, Camille is okay with that, a very sexy fun time may be had by all! It's also a very sneaky way to let Christopher "apologize" to Marc, seeing that he has just been more than "one-upped!" Edited to add: The fun Marc had in his private playground showed the Captain of the Destroyer just how much the ship could do by itself without any help. With help, there was no way the pirates stood a chance.

That has been bothering me too. The little we know about Anthony, he might be angered that the mother was the focus of the art instead of the father. It would not surprise me, either way.

That was a rotten trick to play on Nate, yet it served Jake's purpose. To introduce the boys to his idea of painting them. Since Jake and Danny had worked on some of Danny's sketches, it allayed Nate's suspicions of ulterior motives, at least for the moment. The kicker was what happened to Danny when he got home. It had to have been obvious to Brad that Danny had a partial erection. At 16, guys get them all the time. Most for no reason at all! But what Brad did... Wow! Danny was correct in fleeing home, anything, to be away from his stepdad. Danny sought safety and protection from Brad with Jake for whatever reason(s), conscious or not.

Summer (the first time) was a wonderful song. In some ways, it was sadly underplayed (overshadowed?) when Bobby sang Honey. They are both great songs.

Oh, Hell! Since everyone else is giving their opinions of the characters, I might as well, too. With the information we have observed so far, I'm looking at the interactions between Daddy and Anthony, Daddy and Todd, and Anthony and Todd. Daddy is the Patriarch who has one son with whom he is proud. Proud because he has followed instructions and is following in Daddy's footsteps. His number two son is twice a failure because he quit university and would not fall in line with the company, and he refuses to be straight (Daddy thinks he is playing at being gay). Anthony, however, he feels about Todd, wants to ensure that he remains number one in Daddy's book. Hence doing Daddy's bidding. Both Daddy and Anthony are toxic to Todd in this format. Unless there is verifiable change, in either or both, Todd's best bet is to remove himself from them.

Talo, you and I don't always see things the same. The fact is, many times we are at odds. This is one of those times where I am 100% in agreement with you. Moments like this will always be remembered and treasured.

We did leave the chapter with them in a lip-lock! So it could still happen, although I suspect Nate would scream about where his shorts were before rounding the Van. Might give them enough time to scoot back from each other. Even then, I suspect Danny to be blushing enough to light up the yard!!! 😳

And that is exactly what happens in the real world. So this bar room drama happens all the time. I'm not. I've seen this kind of crap happen. Not to the death, but beaten bad enough that required a few days in the hospital. It's not a far stretch to see that it may have happened at a frat party. Gay Panic is still a viable defense in some States...

And the romance starts! Jake feels something different about Danny. Something different from his other hook-ups. Danny feels good being able to be honest about himself with another person. Danny is also feeling something different about Jake. Jake is much more experienced than Danny and must be careful with Danny's emotions. And what about Nate? Will Danny lose his friend, should he find out about Danny's secret?

A three-way bonding! Something that is generally done on the sly here. Never understood why. There is nothing that says you can only give your heart to one other person... Except what Hetero's (and some religions) mandate. Even then, there are several areas where the Male can have more than one female. When it comes to same-sex love, why do we always think we are bound by hetero-normative rules? Well, there is the jealousy component - He's (she's) mine and no one else can have him (her)! It also looks like Marc is growing his fledgling mining company. This is good!
