I have seen more McDonald's in the last few days. I got a lot but ended up missing five of them. If anyone can find # 1, 2, 5, 6, or 13 please let me know.

I never like to see someone totally helpless. For the most part Jake just went where ever life took him. It took the blackmail note for him to stand up and fight for himself. Seems he had more of a backbone then anyone, even himself, realized.

Why is it everyone always wants me to turn my prompts into these longer tales. I just thought the idea of someone being blackmailed by the note was unusual and seeing how differently I could take that idea. For now this is where I leave them. I might come back to it but who knows.

You live your life and grow older, but occasionally you show signs if immaturity. I think I can sum this up in one word - smurfs. Growing up there was only thing I collected, and it was smurfs. Eventually, the shop I bought them from closed and I just varied displaying the ones I had. Then I found out every year they released a few new ones. Those I would find on line and like a giddy little kid order them. Today, I got a surprise. A little kid came into my job with his mom. While she waited to talk to someone about her computer he ate his McDonald's kids meal. When he finished he began to play with the toy inside. The toy was a smurf. Anyone wanna guess what I bought for dinner tonight? I got toy 12 of 16 of the smurfs. Only problem is how do I find the rest? Lol. Signs of an immature 40+ year old.

So poor Danny survived and was given to two very, um, original people to raise him. Was sorry to read his own parents od. Add in a bride who realizes her soon to be hubby is rather unusual, humps her leg, and sniffs her butt (I didn't want to picture that but couldn't help myself ) and realizes her intended has a boyfriend as well simply took the cake. Really an original tale all the way around.

My life was a train wreck. There is no other way to look at it. In the last few weeks there wasn’t much that had gone right for me. Things had gone from wonderful to total disaster in no time at all. It began with the passing of my brother, Tommy. He had gone to one of his beloved NASCAR races and sat in the sun while the temperatures reached into the hundreds. It's that time again. Time for me to torture, I mean um, tease you with some new ideas for prompts. Prompt 254 – Creative Tag – First Line “Since when is that acceptable?” Prompt 255 - Creative Tag – Kidnapped It is everyone’s worst nightmare. You have gone on vacation and decide to go out and see this new place at night. While you are busy looking in the windows and seeing the people move from place to place, someone has been following you. After a wonderful meal at a nice place, you stop to go to the bathroom and as you go to leave you feel someone grab you and before you can move you slip into unconsciousness. When you awake you realize you are tied up and have been kidnapped. Why have you been targeted? Last week was a busy week with many writers taking a chance and trying the prompts. Perhaps one of the most emotional was done by Totally. The prompt originally read - As you sit down to finish getting ready on the day of your wedding your parents come in. Your father looks nervous and your mother is just totally distraught, but they tell you they really need to tell you something before you are married. Figuring they are just worried about your wedding, you’re shocked when they sit and begin to tell you something they have kept secret from you your whole life.
