Thanks for the new chapter, it was great to see that Will is ok and on his way back home. I found it interesting to hear and see things from his prospective and hope Ryan does blow him - LOL Is there any notification system for when you post new chapters?

A very enjoyable chapter and one that moves the story along nicely. I vote along with Danny above for Lord Granger, Marquis of Brentwood it does have a nice ring to it. It was nice to see George back with Cavendish and feeling appreciated and loved by all again. Thanks Mark.

Thanks for the new chapter and the speed in which you got it out. I am sure I speak for others when I express the hope that we will see the next chapter at the end of the weekend. What can I say you have us caught up in concern for Will and the rest of the family. I will state outright that you are my favorite author on the web and I love your stories and eagerly check for new chapters, so I hope you will take my next comment with that in mind. I am finding Matt's character acting more foolish than I would expect from the way he is written earlier. In Bloodlines he is insightful, able to discerne others motives and behaviour as well as smart in business and with school, you further state that he is more like Brad than like Robbie. I like the way him and Wade have been there for each other and supported each other in the past. While I can appreciate we can all have our blind spots or be selfish at times I am finding his words and actions not in character with how he is previously written. Matt in this book seems to be written more like Robbie whom I sometimes find irritating and whos foolishness does not seem in character with a Hollywood producer. In any case I can live with Robbie's character (in small doses) but would like to see Matt continue along a smarter more savy line with him and Wade operating as a couple though a sexual active non monogomous couple is fine. I would also like to hear how his investment that Stef fronted for him in Google turns out. That said I really enjoyed the chapter. Keep up the great work! Thanks for your writting and for listening.

Enjoyed the chapter as always! I was reminded of this pasage from Book 7 It Fits, chapter 15, when Steph is asking JP; Who was the biggest challenge? Ace?” I asked. Ace had a major temper, but he'd finally gotten counseling, and that had helped him to control it. The new, calm person who had emerged was awesome. “No, he just had those issues with his temper, and he didn't direct them at me.” He shook his head and laughed. “What?” I demanded. “I'm just laughing because there's only one answer, one clear answer to your question. I don't even have to think about it. Brad. He was the biggest challenge.” “I have never found him to be challenging,” I said. “You only find him difficult to deal with because you two are so much alike.” “Brad has very strong ideas about what is right and wrong, and he is willing to fight for those views. He is headstrong. That makes him tough. When his back is against the wall and he knows he is right, there really is no one more difficult.” I guess the expression the apple doesn't fall far from the tree is applicable even in fiction

Yey a great start to the weekend, another great chapter! I was glad to see Wade sort out the various financial issues around both Matt and Riley. The executors he picked are both good choices though he should choose a back up in the event of a conflct as the deciding vote and also to replace one of the executors should they be unable to fullfill their duties Brad is probably the best choice for that. Wade should also appoint Matt or some person or people for both his medical and financial Power of Attorney should he be incapacitated, it is good advice for us all to deal with these issues especially if we do not want our next of kin in this case Wade's parents stepping in. I recall in Book 8 Matt gave these powers to JP when he was in hospital. Now on to the fun stuff, a really hot sex scene with Matt, Wade and Sean and the promise of more to come Perhaps more importantly it seems the guys have found a happy medium for them to introduce allowed sex partners they both are comfortable with and a formula for their relationship. Thanks Mark for all your hard work, as always I eagerly await the next chapter.

A hot threesome, A dinner at Escorial with a revelation where Matt is introduced to the family, then a tearjerker where all these guys offer to help him; what more can anyone want!
-
This chapter is filled with revelations, Robbie confessing to killing Neil, the disclosure that he is into being fisted, Robbie explaining his past and detailing his relationship and history with Brad. At times the chapter made me smile at others it had me close to tears. Another amazing chapter, thanks Mark.

Ok I love this chapter, the sex with Cody is hot. Stef is always fun. Matt meeting the family and finding his father Robbie is part of the clan then revealing that he is his son makes for a great read. The whole only Stef could find his grandson and fuck him provides the comic relief. Excellent chapter!

I love this chapter! Matt is such a fun character, only he could find a cute ER doctor and get off while having a prostrate exam. Great cliff hanger at the end finding out he is adopted.

An interesting chapter. Hmmmmmmm I wonder what Wade is up to with those properties and how he will out fox his mother, I am looking forward to that. I really don't like the way Robbie and Brad are acting it seems a bit extreme and somewhat out of character. There are few parents who wouldn't answer when their child called them both twice if only to avoid worry, that coupled with the previous kidnapping makes their actions irresponsible. I know you depict Robbie as bad in a crissis yet he runs a good size business, one would think he would develop those skills though perhaps he does not transfer him to his family. Lastly I really did not appreciate him lying about the calls or even just skirting the truth. It really does seem like Stef and or JP need to step in. As always I eagerly await the next chapter, any chance we will see it by Sunday night?

Thanks for a great series. I had read Second Shot quite a while back and consider it one of my favorite stories. I read it again as a prelude to reading about the trial and went through it over a few days ignoring other facets of my life so that I could keep reading, that is always a sign of an excellent story. As I read it over a few days in my eagerness to continue reading I did not stop to comment on chapters of Second Shot as I should have; I feel quilty about this as you deserve the accolades for your efforts. I agree with Six Guage's comments and ideas above as well as others, there is lots to say and do with the wonderful cast you have created please work on the five year story with these guys and their supporting cast besides you can use your baby experience as part of the plot. Thanks for the great job! I look forward to other multi chapter stories from you.

Chapter 49: Moving On
Torontotop commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 49: Moving On
One of my favorite all time stories a great read! Thank you for crafting such wonderful characters and for posting it on gayauthors for us all to enjoy.I am so glad they ended up together the happy ending was the way to go! I really like these characters and hope you write more with the two of them beyond the trial but you have to keep them together as a couple. Great work! Keep up the excellent writting I look forward to reading more of your stories. -
Another really good chapter! Will's whining in the last chapter was really getting to me. While he has a point he has now made it and needs to move on. I suspect if he now tells his father's how important they are to him and how he just needs that daily call and knowing when the next time he will see them is the situation will be much better. I am a bit surprised to see Brad being so dense he should remember how he was at that age. Wade's advice to Will was really good he needs to give it a rest and take the moral high ground, though that is hard for a 14/15 year to do. Will's support, defence of and call to Pat showed a caring, touching side of Will that is nice to see. It was also nice to see Stef step in there and try to fill part of the void and provide the money for Pat's defence. As always I await the next chapter eagerly.

Excellent chapter! I am glad Wade figured things out and with Sean's help was able to take control of the situation. I am looking forward to the next chapter and to the interplay between Wade and his mom. I kept looking for this chapter to come out over the weekend and was thrilled to see it tonight, now I am just as eager for chapter 22. It was so much easier when I started reading CAP and had books stretched out ahead of me.

It's the end of the world as we know it...
Torontotop commented on K.C.'s story chapter in It's the end of the world as we know it...
Great story, I like the inclusion of humour. It was nice to read about Percy's mother's reaction, if only more parents could be like that! She is a wise woman. Rockets ad was hilarious! I look forward to more of your multi chapter stories. -
Good start to the story. I love the line, "Saying that Percy was in the closet was an understatement. He was so far in the closet that he could change his address to Narnia."
-
Thanks for the great story! I am not usually that into sci-fi but totally enjoyed this. Are you working on the next book and if so is there an expected date for release?

A good chapter though I would have made sure the Dr. did the procedure without laudanum and something similar to Davina. I think George is being much to forgiving. It would be fitting if Freddie and Davina where disinherited they are unfit to be Lord and Lady of any manor, besides it would benefit George as Bertie is likely to die in the tropics. It has been very nice to have a few chapters of St. Vincent but I miss paternity, when can we expect a new chapter there? I need my Wade/Will fix.
-
Really good chapter. It was nice to see both characters express their feelings and emotions and to confide in each other, that of course is the sign of true lovers not those just having sex. Peter's insights will no doubt help George deal with a difficult situation. As a true captain should he will plot his course and follow it till it leads him to the right place. It has been really nice to have a few chapters of this story in a shorter period of time than usual that said I am waiting for the next chapter paternity and was expecting to find it rather than another St. Vincent. Please do not take that as a complaing rather just plain greed Oh and I voted for George congratulations on a well deserved win!

An excellent last chapter to a great book! It nicely ties up all the loose ends and story lines to date.

... Forever Is Never That Easy (Part 1)
Torontotop commented on Jwolf's story chapter in ... Forever Is Never That Easy (Part 1)
You sometimes have Cooper do stupid things but this one really takes the cake. I didn't understand him caring about a drug addict. I do understand how Chase could after many years of trying just wash his hands of the guy. At some point if someone is an adult and doesn't want to help themselves sometimes the best strategy is to wait till they want help. Lastly I totally don't understand Cooper going to Morgan and the deal he made is just plain stupid as is trusting a drug addict. -
Very good chapter, it is nice to see Wade involved in his business affairs that is a side of him that fits his character and is facinating to read about. Surrounding it by two sexual encounters is probably a good formula to keep those less interested in the business aspect satisfied. Now we see the whole Haupt thing coming to light, where Carl got his info etc. Wade should go slow and careful and may or may not want to sell that land. He might want to role it over into their land deal by owning a percentage, or otherwise keep some control on them. What's that expression keep your friends close and your enemies closer. In that regard he may also want to offer some sort of olive branch to his mother. I enjoyed Wade's encounter with his cousin but was surprised he had any other experience with guys besides his dad. He really should have taken Trevor home to share with Matt, group sex may be the way to help Matt be faitful yet still sow his wild oats.

It makes no sense but I didn't really enjoy reading about Wade fooling around with Sean. On the other hand I think it is good he is not being a doormat. I guess as I like him and Matt together so much it is kind of weird to read about him with someone else. The latter part of the chapter with Wade coming home and finding Matt walking a colicy Riley, then the two of them enjoying each other both physically and emotionally was really great. It was nice to see Wade really forgive Matt and how happy that made them both. I am wondering what financial arrangements are being made for Tiffany and the baby. Wade needs to get his financial and legal affairs in order as befits a new father and the organized anal guy he is. Thanks for another wonderful chapter!
