Good opening chapter and intro to the characters.

Great story! Great characters and settings! Very well written! I am sorry to see it end. Any thoughts of doing a sequel perhaps centred on Matt his life and children with Sean and now Tony mixed in?

A very touching, well written chapter. You did a great job describing a realistic situation with the just the write combination of prose neither saying too much or too little. I found myself teary eyed. Well done!

...Some Things Are Decided For You
Torontotop commented on Jwolf's story chapter in ...Some Things Are Decided For You
Another really good chapter thanks Jwolf keep up the great work! I look forward to next Sunday. Now my thoughts, the whole scene witht he children choosing is a valid one, usually that is done with the lawyers there as observers. The way it is written it is unclear how the scene played out. I realize you wanted to leave it hanging but it would have seemed more real if the judge had them in told fabe them a week to decide and also told them that it was their father's request that they not be split up. They should also be told that their mother would be travelling 2 - 4 days a week. Whichever parent gets them the other parent would still get child support. Regarding the whole University issue Coop or anyone with a brain should be smart enough to keep there mouth shut as for the options to be spelt out in writting and then take it to their lawyer. The cliffhanger at the end was great I did not see that coming. I am going to hope that Morgan is there for moral support. That Chase has been upfront with him about Coop and that is how he knows they are sleeping together and that Morgan's comment is meant as an ice breaker and all will work out. I am obviously in team Chase. Oh and Lisa I really enjoyed reading your review -

Good chapter, hope the next one arrives soon. Mark should contest his father's will. -
Good chapter. When do you plan to post more?

Great story I am enjoying each chapter and have read up to this chapter, number 50 over several days and am still not tired of it. Frankly I will be left wondering what to read when I am done. I am waiting to see what happens when Andy comes out to his family. I am kinda thinking his family will cut him off without a penny and he will have to move in with Carl, I guess I am just anxious for him and Carl to get together. After that his family can reconcile with him, perhaps the good fathers coming out may play a part in their change of heart? It would be fun to have some scene where they think he cant survive and then find out how much Carl is worth. It might be even nicer if at some point they need Carl's help financially. Hope you don't mind the story ideas.

Great chapter! I have been enjoying this story all along bur this chapter was exceptional. Quite honestly it brought me to tears. Keep up the great work I look forward to reading more with these characters.

Great chapter! I have been missing my Mark Arbour fix. Nice to have Wade and Matt back in play a bit. I look forward to reading about the boys adventures at school.

This series is great. It started off a bit slow but then really picks up. I am eager to read more and hope the next part is coming soon. An excellent job with the characters and the various story threads. Keep up the great work!

A really nice well written story. One of the reviews above (Ramon's) mentions something that you should post your other stories here, do you have stories on another site or ? I would love to read your other stuff especially if it is multiple chapters.

…Just When I Thought Things Could Reach a New Normal
Torontotop commented on Jwolf's story chapter in …Just When I Thought Things Could Reach a New Normal
Another good chapter! I liked the brunch scene and you are right it was very Sex in the Cityish Hmmm problems with the wife wanting to move away, problems with the University. I suggest Coop gets a good lawyer and not Kyle due to their issues, perhaps someone Kyle recommends and of course Kyle can still offer advice, lastly Kyle should consult his lawyer before providing copies of his manuscript. Really liked that Chase help back and just tried to be there emotionally, I hope he becomes the Rock that Coop needs. Coop has enough trouble going on his life with work, friends issues and his kids it would be nice if Chase's love helps see him through. -
Alot happened in this chapter. Great writing and an excellent story but I don't quite understand the money issue. When they kill people why not take there money? Or why didn't they empty the cash at the copy place where Justin killed the guy. That aspect really doesn't make much sence. That said the cage fighting was kind of fun

...You Have to Take Things One Moment at a Time
Torontotop commented on Jwolf's story chapter in ...You Have to Take Things One Moment at a Time
I really liked this chapter. I am happy to see Chase going after Cooper and include his children, it is great to see the effort. It was good to hear Liz express her feelings about being a family. I was surprised Coop didn't nicely point out that he missed that too the last few years and that was really the issue for him. It is ok to say to your children that you and your wife had grown apart. Liz is old enough to have an adult conversation and if things were pointed out to her she should be able to think about them and realize the facts. I bet she would respond to and appreciate the honesty. I also think Cooper in dealing with Liz should focus on talking about her going step by step in her relationship and not rushing into intercourse and of course safe sex. It is kind of useless to expect complete abstinence as in no making out that is kind of normal for a 16 year old, besides she has Coopers horny blood running through her veins so he only has himself to blame -
A great end to what has been my favorite book in this series. It is the mark of a great story when you are so sad to see it go. The combination of Matt and Wade is great. Thank you so much Mark for bringing the series and especially this book to the net. Amazing job!

This chapter is so real and so emotional. I love hearing Wade's perspective and having him call Matt's parents to tell them he may die. It's unfortunate it sometimes takes the spectre of death to cause people to get in touch with their feelings. Matt's parents coming to see him made me tear up. The whole chapter is beautifully written and so poignant. A spectacular job Mark well done!

I liked the story and enjoyed reading more of Kyle and Jared. I hope you continue with these characters and am interested to read their adventures with the children. Do you have any plans to do so? If you plan a rewrite I agree with James's comments and could see this story broken up into 3 to 8 chapters with more focus give to the transition with the children and Janice outings together issues that arise with them being gay and even bits and pieces of the adoption process such as the day in court etc.

A great chapter, loved the politics and plot twist. I expected Ramsey to confess all and become Granger's lover and double agent, hmmm was I wrong. Nice climax, well I guess two climaxes at the end, that was over due poor Granger must have been close to bursting given his past sexploits I am wondering if those two Spanish officers will not be made an example of on the way home, perhaps they should be "forced" to learn what it is like to be buggered, ok just a little kinky thinking. Mark the quality and quantity of your writting never ceases to amaze me keep it up. I look forward to the next chapters in both this and Poor Man's son.

Great chapter! It was nice to see the interplay between Winkler and see their relationship. I particularly liked when Winkler says "Begging your pardon, sir, but have you done that with Commander Calvert?” I see Granger and Gatling ending up in bed soon Nice intrique at the end I look forward to seeing where the issue with Ramsey and Granger's sister in law is headed. I am sure that is going to be interesting and is a nice way to end the chapter.

...Maybe is Neither Yes or Nor... It's Simply Maybe
Torontotop commented on Jwolf's story chapter in ...Maybe is Neither Yes or Nor... It's Simply Maybe
Great chapter!!! I loved the parenting part, it played out very real as did the scene with Coop and Devon it was good to hear from her from the heart and also for her to hopefully see that her children need both their parents and that in spite of the seperation they still need to function together or the children will be the ones that suffer the most. Great cliffhanger with Kyle, man is it their timing or what? Kyle is a bit of an ass for not telling Coop on his own first, or is Kyle specifically trying to avoid hurt by making himself unavailable and thus not part of the competition, interesting and very well written. I think it is your best chapter to date! -
...I Never Quite Knew What to Expect
Torontotop commented on Jwolf's story chapter in ...I Never Quite Knew What to Expect
That was a great chapter! I agree you covered alot of ground and it really needed to be covered. I think that Coop should be stressing that he was just not happy for a while with Devon and that we all deserve to have a happy life. As far as I know we only have one go around. Leaving Dev shouldn't mean he is leaving his children and that is the message he needs to stress with them that he loves them and wants to be in their lives. He also needs to say that they are not babies and if they want him in their life they 'need to say that to Dev and to the court. Courts listen to children's wishes their mandate is to act in the childs best interest which is generally to have both parents in their life if the parents are good parents and Coop seems to have been the more involved parent. Now on to Chase, I am not sure how he got in but I don't really care I love the big romantic gesture and think he should date both Kyle and Chase for a while and for the stories benefit but then I want him to end up with Chase. What can I say I am ordering my team Chase shirt Keep up the good work and keep the chapters coming! -
It's always a highlight to read a new Mark Arbour chapter at the end of the day. You amaze me with the quantity and quality you are able to produce. I eagerly await the next chapter. I do really enjoy Will's character and am glad to see Cole back after an absence. I only hope that leads us back to Matt and Wade who I miss.
-
Really good story and chapter. I hope to read more of this story and these characters. Are you planning to write more?
-
Great chapter as always! The ongoing politcal implications of each action and reaction is interesting. I liked how Granger handled the two men screwing he is so overdue for some sex I look forward to seeing how things unfold both with Ramsey and Gatling I am also thinking he had a thing with Mr. Robers and Capt Granger may have to comfort him soon it the best tradition of the Royal Navy.

I really liked this chapter one of the things that made it so good is that as it focuses on Will and then his brothers it allows for more depth and for things to play out. It is interesting that you introduce the security guy, yet I was puzzled that the three of them went with no security that didn't seem right. I liked that Darius had a strong point to make and made it in the way he did. While a far drive it did make his point.
