    Chapter 1

Yettie, I agree I'd love things to be this easy for all of us, and some of us really do have it this good. I just wish all of us could.

Thanks JoAnn, it felt really nice to write something upbeat and fun

    Chapter 1

Dark, you need to meet my mother. I've been caught by her a few times and it's always the same.

    Chapter 1

Wayne, I based Bob & Pam on my mother. But thanks for the comment
  5. I had the distinct misfortune to read these books, as my mother would not stop talking about them ! I read the twilight books and summarily instructed Snuggle to slap the silly out of me should I ever consider picking them up again. 50 Shades of Gray is in that category. It has nothing to do with a BDSM lifestyle, they are tame in the extreme. Also the love story between the major players is just a farce in my mind. It was written to be a film, not a book.
  6. Fable: The Journey soon, it's about the only game I really play on the XBox, I use it mainly for stuff like NetFlix.
  7. When i was young all of my family referred to me as 'Creeping Jesus' because I would move about the house very quietly and no-one was ever sure of where I was. As I got into my teens I decided I liked Mike better than Michael and it's been that way ever since. Only my mother calls me Michael, so that prompts me to call anyone who refers to me as Michael Mummy !
  8. Stuart, Welcome to gay authors. There are authors here from all over the world, I'm from the UK as are many other authors.
  9. Best of luck Marky, I hope it all goes well for you.
  10. I'm with Yettie One on this one. Also I have issues with books like Cia. But I suppose the worst temptation for me at the moment is a cigarette while I'm trying to quite ( 26 Days and still no body count ! )
  11. Woof woof !
  12. Yeah I saw this and thought the same. I work with teachers ( I'm not one ) and I've never met a more thick group of people in my life. I now believe the truth in the saying "Those who can do, those who can't teach. "
  13. Erm ?
  14. I've been missing for a while, but I've been busy dealing with something. Snuggle and I have had a fight, but it was over once he admitted he was wrong so we're back in the land of happy. I have been reading what's been going on however. It will never cease to amaze me how much support is available in this forum, and I hope it keeps on going. to everyone who needs or wants them.
  15. Happy birthday Bill.
  16. I used to have a male doctor whom I got on very well with. But he's since retired and has been replaced by a female doctor. Again she's no bother and I've got a good relationship with her. I'm not bothered about seeing either a male/female doctor. It's their attitude which is more important to me.
  17. I don't drink any more, but when I did JD & Coke was my drink of choice when I was out. In the house usually something like Laphroaig was my tipple of choice.
  18. Joe, many congratulations on being a grampa !

    Chapter 1

I arrived at Derrick’s house at about six in the evening. As normal, I went round to the back door and just let myself in. Bob and Pam, Derrick’s parents had gotten used to the two of us just using the house as our own. It was the same with my parents Bill and Jackie. After quickly throwing a wave at Pam I went upstairs to Derrick’s room. I didn’t bother knocking, I just went straight in. Derrick was sitting on his bed with his school books spread out in front of him. I took a moment just to lo
  20. A short story about two boys who come together and become more than they are on their own.
  21. Happy Birthday Mike, may there by many more !
  22. I wouldn't say it's offensive, just very tacky.
  23. It was no surprise to my parents when I told them about me. I agree your mum doesn't really know what she's saying. Your 19 years old and you can't know everything about yourself yet. I'm 37, and I'm still learning, not only about me, but also about Snuggle. We've been together nearly ten years and we're still learning about each other, what does that say to you ? Surely your mum must understand this.
  24. Roan hang on in there, you've got yourself a cheering section here at GA, we all want to see you put this disease behind you. We know it's tough, but we're all here for you major Wayne - remember to take some time for you, I know it's tough, but it will do both you and your dad some good Marky - I know it's hard being apart from the one you love, as you well know I spent time away from snuggle when he was sitting right next to me. But hold on, there's light at the end of the tunnell. And the offer of some judicious kidnapping still stands. Harcallard - It's always just about facing the day in front of you, one day at a time, one problem at a time. And don't let the disease win ! And to everyone else
  25. Happy birthday Kiltie !
