  1. Should I make arrangements for you two to be air lifted together ? And then locked together for about a month ?
  2. Breeze, it's good that you're on the mend fighting an illness is hard at the best of times, but not really knowing what it is must be ten times harder. Losing a loved one is terrible. But instead of avoiding the memories, sometimes it's better to confront them head on, and I'm talking from personal experience here. You and your husband must have had some really good memories in Montana, those are the ones you want to let live in your mind. to all
  3. I'm in Scotland and we've had more rain in the past month than ever before. We've busted the records. I'm willing to trade some sun shine for rain, anyone ?
  4. Zola, I hope things start to improve and you don't end up back in the dark place. We've all been there and we all know it's hard to get out of it. Wayne, I know what it is to worry about a family member, the stress and pressure you place on yourself can be unbearable at times. Sometimes you need to walk away for a while and take some 'you' time. It's not being selfish to do it, it's about being you best to support your family. You can't help them if you're so wound up that you're ready to snap. Marky, Old fashioned ideas can be fine if taken in context, and softened a little bit with life lessons. You are one of the people I've come to admire and respect on the site. Joe, It's good to see you back again, you've been missed I know that having someone moving in with you can be a very trying time. It totally disrupts your routine and ideas of personal space. But at the same time it can be beneficial. It's always better to have someone to chat to, rather than screaming at the walls or the TV
  5. I'm with frostina on this one. Despite, or maybe because he was gay (allegedly), he achieved many great things and this shouldn't detract from them. But as we all know, gay superheroes are not supposed to exist. Ghandi Quote: What do you think of western civilisation ? [Ghandi]: I think it would be a good idea.
  6. Marky who cares if your thick ? My dad left school at 16 without a qualification to his name, yet I'm sitting here with a doctorate in mathematics. My dad is still one of the cleverest guys I know. I can do numbers, but give my dad some power tools and some lumps of wood and he can build anything. If there is one thing I know, school gives you and education. But you don't start learning things till you're out in the big bad world. From what I know Marky, you've been in the big bad world nearly as long as I have. I can't grow anything including plastic plants without killing them so you're one up on me. Keep you're chin up, we're all here for you Marky.

    Chapter 2

The orphanage in the sixth district of T’Rentar is a dark and foreboding building. For the thousands of children who have passed through it, it was little more than a prison to keep them from the sight and mind of ‘polite’ society. Over the years the occupants and staff may have changed, but the overall mission never did. There were many in society who believed the purpose of the orphanage was flawed. Why should they have to contribute taxes to support the population of the scum dwellers ? If t
  10. It all really depends on the circumstances for us. But I'm definitely a grunter which tends to get progressively louder until I forget English is my first language. For some reason when I break out into Dutch/French Snuggle get's turned on something chronic ! Snuggle is more of a remaining compus mentus until he's too far gone, when he turns into a screamer !
  11. Well today is the day. All I have to say is Come on ANDY !
  12. I'm hoping against hope it's Andy.
  13. Ok, I know what I'm doing for the next wee while Comsie, is there please gonna be more savage moon ? The wait for the next chapters is killing me
  14. This is one of the biggest discoveries since Einsteing published his famout E=Mc2 equation ! And it happened within our lifetimes. As Stephen Hawking said, if it's proven to the 5 Sigma level it will gain Peter Higgs the Nobel prize for Physics.
  15. Harcallard, a quick email is a safe way to go. It exposes neither of you, just remember to forget when you send it, so you get a pleasant surprise when you get a reply. As for being an extrovert, I can say from experience that it can be a little intimidating, this from an introverte ! Hugs
  16. Harcallard it's good to know you're doing better, like I said to Marky a wee while ago. Every day you achieve something, even if it's just as mundane as getting out of bed. Don't let the illness win. Charlie B, snuggle is not free, but he's reasonable Marky, I just seem to accumulate things. He goes through all my paper work and stuff and if it's more than a year old it heads for the shredder. He knows I scan it all anyways. Also just stuff I collect, when I'm at work if I'm working with a server or something and I've taken stuff out of it, tends to just g in my pockets till I get home And you should thin about clearing some of the stuff you've collected over the years, it can be a good excercise, letting go of some bits of the past. I hope everyone is well, lots of all round.
  17. Made it to Yorkshire all safe and sound, weather wasn't too bad on the way down.
  18. Well this is where snuggle and I are heading today to see one of his brothers get married: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-18639859 We've just heard that all rail services between England and Scotland are suspended due to landslides blocking the tracks. Talked to my parents and they said the rain came down so hard you couldn't see ! Wonder what is waiting for us in Yorkshire
  19. Joe if the cleaning is stressing you out, then have a friend do it for you ! That way you're not tempted to go 'Oh I'll just hang on to that.' It's something I'm definitely guilty of Snuggle clears out once a year, usually when I'm not around ! My kids have just broken up, so it cuts my commute from 10 to 5 minutes ! Be well and have some
  20. You could always go with tonsillectomy !

  24. I've got to be a bit careful with sad movies. But I do remember watching Stepmom and bawling my eyes out !
