I pretty much edit the same way, Cia. At least I do now. When I first started writing here it was pretty much a quick run through spellcheck and then post **what was I thinking!** Reading the chapter/story backwards may sound an odd thing to do, but it's shocking the number of things you can find. I sometimes found I had events happening with no build up at all, and even worse I sometimes found that a build up actually led to no event happening The first few times you try it it is so disorientating, but it's a very useful tool to get into the habit of using. I do a lot of self-editing (sometimes five or six times) before I even send it to a beta/editor. To borrow from our own Louis, always send your team your best work and never your first drafts. For a 5k short story, my recent anthology story went through a total of fifteen edits and rewrites. I have an online subscription to Chicago Manual of Style, which I have found to be helpful in times of need. However, there are a few editing manuals produced by both Oxford and Cambridge that are useful for UK members, as there are a few differences between US and UK styles.

The big truth is finally out and it's only taken 10 books Everyone seems to have taken it in their stride, but only time will tell.

Such an emotionally raw chapter. Justin bearing his soul like that was heartbreaking. There have been so many warnings about not going back to their lives before, I guess we're gonna find out why.

Justin found a victim who he didn't mind draining, but he's not gonna be lucky every time. I hope he can get over the morality issue he's struggling with.

We finally get to see a caring side to Rain. It's nice to know there is a heart in there somewhere.

You write some excellent fight scenes and this one is no exception. This "Rage" is bringing Justin a lot of attention and hostility from the vamp world. Justin can't keep the truth from the rest for mcuh longer.

It's finally time for Justin's secret to come out. I'm not sure how they are all going to explain this to Darren though.

Now that Michael knows, Justin is gonna have to come clean about being a reader. Better to tell everyone on his terms than wait for Michael to maybe tell Bryson or maybe not. And Justin is facing having to take another life. Time for him to decide just how much he wants to live in darkness.

So there's a vamp out there breaking bones and raising hell, and Justin is the prime suspect. More trouble for him to deal with. This is why he was told to keep his gifts hidden. When is Gyro gonna learn? The party kid nearly dies, and he's already looking for the next party. And looks like Michael is gonna get a special welcome back.

Such a touching story Bill. Scott and his partner have a huge challenge ahead of them taking care of the boys. Maybe you need to write the eight or nine books that will tell their tale

Thanks for reviewing. I already have a few ideas for spinoffs so they will be coming. There is a lot to Greg, and who knows just how bad our bad boy is There are interesting times ahead for Angus.

They really do need to keep a better eye on Kid's feeding schedule. An incident like that in the wrong place and he'd expose them. Though he was soooo cute pouting over the teddy. As much as Max tries to hide it, I think he really does love Kid.

So Justin's trainign proper will now begin. If he can do all of the things he can without any training, I wonder just how powerful he can become. It's going to be harder and harder for Justin to stay under the Elder's radar.

Well written fight scene. I wonder who the hunter was looking for if it wasn't Justin. Though now more people know about Justin - he is supposed to keeping his gusts quiet.

Thanks Kev Greg was very much a backup. I'm not sure Angus even wanted a boyfriend when he first conjured Greg up, he was just looking for a date for the night and a bit of fun afterwards. That was exactly what he got, and was left very much wanting more. I always research anything 'factual' that I plan to include in a story, and I glad that it has shown.
