    This chapter deserves a comment. I guess that it's a little too straight for the majority of readers on this site but I've got a feeling that this is an important part of Perry's development as a teenager. A lot of kids go through this period and the author does well to portray Perry's anxieties and uncertainties over his sexuality. We know that he eventually marries one of these girls but it's probably a mistake. This is a great story.

    So now we know that Jesse is more than just a pretty face who is a black belt at Karate. He can also write a good story. Looking forward to their night together. I hope that Perry can contain his excitement until then, he didn't do too good a job while reading the story. Nice chapter though and a thoroughly enjoyable story.

    Good to see the mother's hitting it off. This was a wonderful start to Perry and Jesse's adventures.

    “What do we do now?” Jesse asked me. If you're not sure what to do, then you're probably too young but who am I to preach. Another excellent chapter as the boys struggle to get to grips with a whole new world.

    I have to admit Tampa have looked consistently good from the start but I can't see Vegas winning it on their first attempt. That would be so unfair on St.Louis, Buffalo, Vancouver, Washington etc.who have never won it or the Leafs (50 years!)

    The boys are infatuated with one another but they're moving along very quickly. Perry uses the old play-fighting routine to make his move and of course Jesse allows him to do it. Great writing.

    This chapter highlights the financial gulf between the two boys and their respective families but Jesse is able to pay Perry back for the meal and save his future boyfriend with some heroics after the show.

    This opening chapter really sets the scene well for a wonderful story. This was one of the first stories that I read on GA but it seems to have flown largely under the radar.

    Thank you @Sweetlion It's difficult to know what to do with bullies. For sure if you are able to then standing up to them usually works with most of them although in Robbie's case it looks as if he just lost his temper and that can be very dangerous. It worked this time, as long as he doesn't try it on the likes of Jake, he should be OK.

    Thanks Steve. If Alex and Robbie make unlikely friends then Alex and Nathan would be even worse. They are complete opposites so we will have to wait and see how this one plays out. As for Mitch, I doubt if he would be scared of Nicola but he probably won't want to get himself in her bad books.

    So glad that Billy was mature enough not to hit the panic button before allowing an explanation. I don't blame Stevie for being scared to go out and the panic attacks are understandable under the circumstances. He's going to need a lot more support than Brandon can offer on his own. Safety in numbers is his best option but alone he's a sitting duck I'm afraid. Yeah, I've been reading this one too.

    That scenario must be every bully's worst nightmare and one of the reasons they hardly ever leave themselves exposed. We'll have to wait and see who the visitor is but Robbie doesn't have many relatives left. Of course an inheritance could bring all sorts of people out of the woodwork. Thanks @Benji
