    I would say the it's the guy who's been following them around. Then there's the one who bumped Adam into the lockers in the previous chapter. It's getting complicated.

    Yes Randy has got himself in a bit of an awkward spot. I like David's moments of clarity as he figures things out and realizes that he was wrong. He was able to understand how his actions had left Adam alone and in danger. He's moving forward and becoming very protective of his new brother.

    Thanks Albert. I didn't realize that people were still reading these early chapters. I can't believe that it's been going on this long. Almost two and a half years, but it's near the end now!

    Well done Carlos. You have really revitalized a feature that was becoming stagnant............. It's good to see some different authors getting some well-deserved publicity and recognition for their hard work.

    A really interesting and thought provoking blog. When I was a teenager, I didn't considered myself 'normal' because normal was boring and it wasn't cool. I wanted to be different just like everybody else, which made me pretty normal. I know now that it's not that easy. I think that most of us are stuck with normal because it's almost impossible to live, outside of it and most wouldn't want to. There are a few exceptions, like Kings and Queens and a handful of oddball billionaires whose lives are completely different from everyone else but most of the other 8 billion humans on the planet could probably be classed as normal.

    Slowly yes, but at least he seems to be going in the right direction. Interesting little titbit about 'Ian Roberts' who I had never heard of but had to quickly look up on google. I had to agree with David though when he asked 'Why not an Aussie rules player'? Aren't they the ones who wear those really tight shorts?

    David is infuriating. I wouldn't mind if he was supportive or if he was just plain homophobic but not both. He speaks very intelligently; I can't understand why he's having so much difficulty working out something that everyone else seems to be able to get without any problems at all. David really does have some deep rooted problems and I would be very concerned if I were his father. I am trying to like him but he is just not a very nice person and it would be difficult for me to ever trust someone like that in real life. He's got me riled though, which is probably what you set out to do. Don't take this comment the wrong way, it's a compelling story.

    Thanks Molly. You're not late at all. It's an interesting subject for me. I've read a lot of stories written by women where the main character is a male and they get it spot on which I think is really cool. I've wanted to try something similar but in reverse for some time now so I thought that I would give it a try in a short story first. I wasn't sure how this would be received on a gay site where most of the readers are male. Thanks for reading.

    At least David is able to understand that he was wrong for flying off the handle, even if he doesn't quite understand why just yet. Randy is a lot more comfortable with Adam than his brother. I'm thinking that maybe David isn't that sure about his own sexuality.

    I think it's quite good for the first story you ever wrote. It definitely has an Australian feel to it; particularly the nicknames and the way you guys tend to shorten them (Aidy and Ady).

    Thank you @Comicality I was looking forward to your comment but a little apprehensive at the same time. This is because I have been reading and admiring your work for a long time; much longer than I've been writing, and it felt weird knowing that you were going to be commenting on something that I had done. I really appreciate you taking the time to do this. Your review was better than I expected and has given me a lot of encouragement.

    Thank you @tesao This was a difficult chapter to write and it didn't work quite as well as I intended to but I'm on a bit of learning curve too so I appreciate your words of encouragement. We will have to wait and see about the adoption.

    Thanks Michael, you're absolutely right about Nathan. He would see more of a challenge from Alex then from Tom but he handled the trip to the airport to perfection and it wasn't lost on Robbie even though he had other things on his mind. Hats off to Nathan for making centre stage even when he's taking a back seat and proving that you don't have to shout to be noticed.

    Thank you @SolarMaxx I also appreciate the time comments and enthusiasm of those who read it. I know that I've been saying it for a long time but the story really is now only a handful of chapters from the end but there will be a little turbulence as it makes its final descent, so hang on in there!

    Yes, whether he actually believes it or not, Don has consistently used Robbie's relationship with Fran as proof that he's not gay. It suits Don to believe that the very camp Nathan (who sometimes looks a bit like a girl) has led Robbie astray. In which case, bringing Tom over could prove to be a classic own goal for him, achieving the complete opposite to what he intended. Thanks @spikey582

    Now that would really complicate things. I like the way your mind works though. I think the only thing that would top that would be if Don turned out to be gay!!! Maybe caught in the act with the chief of police!!! Ahhhh the embarrassment!

    It looks as if it's going to be a hectic weekend for Robbie, with Tom, Nathan and possibly Alex jostling for position. Rory, Daniel and Jamie may prevent things from getting out of hand but Daniel may have his hands full keeping his virginity intact now that Ginny has the bit between her teeth. Thanks @Butcher56
