Ha ha. Thanks CG I love this comment. I think that Tom is probably bi-sexual. He wasn't all that convinced of his sexuality in the beginning. He may have tried to disguise it as a just a bit of fun as a way of protecting himself from the inevitability of Robbie's departure, if that makes any sense. Yes it was a full circle moment in Robbie's life and even though he forced them to reveal it earlier than planned, as Tom noted, it was still a surprise. We will have to wait and see how Robbie handles the new gay Tom, if that's what he is, and what effect it will have on Nathan. Thanks for your comment @redwood

Thanks Steve. Nathan continues to surprise Robbie but there are warnings there that he will need to heed. Tom, if as everyone seems to suspect, is gay, then this may be a difficult test for Robbie.

If you start speeding up the chapters CG then I'll never be able to catch up. I can't believe that I'm this far behind still but I'm still here and enjoying the story. I'm not going to guess the surprise because I can find out straight away. I know that I've already said this but I absolutely love Greg. I'm not sure how many straight guys would have done what he did in the shower, but that was really cool of him. My favourite character.

Zane went a little too far but like everyone else I can understand his frustration. We often take our anger out on the ones who are closest to us, when it should be directed at others, in this case his father. I hope they can sort it out.

Hey Michael, I saw this comment just as I was going out earlier and I've been looking forward to replying. I have to say that you've made some excellent and interesting observations here and I'm actually thrilled that you've managed to pick up on these things and come to this conclusion. I'm not saying that this is how the story ends because it would take a monumental effort for Alex to displace Nathan in Robbie's heart and Tom, of course, will have to return to his family in England. However, there is definitely an attraction between Robbie and Alex which has been there since their little game and refuses to go away. There are underlying reasons why this is and those problems will need to be addressed before Robbie is able to understand. In the meantime, Alex, after starting rock bottom, is gradually working his way up the popularity rankings. He's been winning people over for a while now and it will be interesting to see where he finishes in the end. Nathan will be hard to catch but not beyond the realms of possibility.
