OH Breeze, I hope things get better, but only you know when you are reading to face the rat race of working. Don't overwhelm yourself. Good Luck, and hugs girl. Mark, I had to laugh at the hair remark. My hubby actually takes more time with his hair than I do. Sounds like quite a visit. Make sure you cook for me when I visit. sounds like you have it all down to an art. to you and Stuby, and yes, relationships are never perfect. If they were, how bored we would all get. lol James, hope things get better for you, sending to you also. To everyone else, hope things are going well, and that life is good for each of you!

Poor Corbin. He seems to be doing all the work in trying to have any semblance of a relationship. Lee is certainly more or less a thorn in the side at this point. the cadet a douche, and for some reason, I think Peter is a little miffed and playing hard to get. Now, i am really impatient to see what happens in the next chapter. Great job!

This is a little puzzling, but as you probably know, just enough to make the reader want more. On to the next chapter. -
Adrian is a user, and at this point in time, I think he may possibly be a thief also.( Alexi's card). Alexi should not give inot Adrian's pleas after the way that Adrian has treated him. So, Joshua has a little baggage in his closet huh? Don't we all? I think he would be great for Alexi if Alexi would just let him in, and forget about Adrian other than a friend, or I think not even a friend. I smell a rat as far as Adrian is concerned. Hopefully, when Lily finds out about the card, she will find out. This story gets better and better. I think if Alexi agrees to the project for Joshua and them,, it will help him a lot. Thanks for another great chapter.

Well, ( deleting all high school friends numbers from my cellphone ), I sure hope nothing has slipped my mind over the years that might wreak havoc unexpectedly in my life like this. This was a powerful ride, and your writing is so spellbinding. I love the way that you kept me guessing who the killer was. Truthfully, I think all of them but maybe Vivien had a screw loose. lol. This was a great story. Thanks for sharing!

What an absolutely spellbinding chapter, and wonderful emotional ride that you have given me as I read this story. I am so glad I decided to just take a chance on it to see if it would keep my attention. Dark, you showed so many emotions in this story that it was almost like I could feel the futuristic atmosphere that you created for your characters to live. Thank you so much for such a great read!

It made my heart swell when Gus jumped onto the stage with Dee to sing and play. Made me shiver thinking about how Dee felt when he got up there with him. I knew Dee would figure out that something was going on, and it does not surprise me that his father may be the one behind the wrongdoings. The only thing that kinda threw me here was I did not understand what Gus's uncle said to him at the end of the chapter, no matter how much i thought about it. lol I may go back and read it again, or better yet, google it. Great chapter

Wow, I did not expect that scene so quick into the story. Whew! What a great surprise, and well written chapter. In a way, it makes you want to tear up in sadness for the wonderful memories that Gus has lost and his lover has been tortured with for so long, living through his music, the only way he was able to be around Gus. Great work!

Sorry about not reviewing chaper 1. I actually have never been a fan of sci-fi, so I was just going to read a little to see if it piqued my interest, and evidently it did since I have finished this chapter also. lol I like this a lot, even though some of the terms were a little strange, I had no problem figuring out the meaning by applying it to the whole text, or words surrounding them. Know what I mean? I was intrigued by the fact that tobacco, AND water were more or less luxuries. So that being said, I am on to the next chapter. Love the romance of course too, just watching it unfold slowly.

I love to read Sandra Brown novels. They are very easy reading, and always a little " trashy romance", to enjoy. lol

Mike is so right on in his post. I am a 52 year old bisexual female, and I have a blast in chat. when i am not included, it is because the youngsters are already wrapped up in their music, new gadgets, whatever, but they always speak, and make me feel welcome. You just have to adhere to the atmosphere at the time.

Wow, you seem to have had a pretty bad experience. I haven't ever felt seen that in chat, and i hope you won't again. If so, I agree with NNN, a mod will catch wind of it or someone will report it. Don't let it keep you from chat. There's really some nice folks there.. I would love to see you there and talk. .

Wow Dennis, your captured the meaning and feeling of melancholy so well in your writing. I could feel her loneliness, feelings of silence broken by the sounds made only by her, treading through the water. What better to fuel these feeling than watching "Titanic"? Great job!
