I've been to places this has happened, and not knowing is sometimes better. It makes it easier not to get involved. I would understand everyone ignoring the situation and focusing on the concert itself. There will always be people beating the bush, and making their discontentment felt, in an atmosphere everyone is having fun. I try to take the best out of the situation and focus on the best parts. As for the shopkeeper, he seems to me like a person out to get the most out of the situation. If you can outsmart him that's always more fun. Great post, Asam.

Maybe Ryo had forgotten about their date. He reached in to his front pocket for his cell phone. Sliding his finger over the screen, he frowned. It was almost five o’clock in the evening. “Soubi.” Soubi glanced up and frowned when he saw Tohru Ichi. She was one of the models at the magazine shoot earlier.

Very sad story and an interesting way to take the theme you were given.

What an interesting take of the world ending. I can just imagine Vance's world changing so abruptly. I love how you handled Vance forgiving his brother. A lot of anger can fester because of something like that but Vance has a very good heart. I loved the story, great write.

Ow, I missed this chapter, and just found it. I was so excited to see it end. I found it to be a poetic end, sort of like some dreams I get that really don't make sense when I explain them when I'm awake, but are really awesome and real in my sleep. I loved the characters and the concept. I'd have loved a bigger showdown at the end, but that's just me, I love your stories, and always want more. This was challenging I imagine, keeping it to 1000 words, there is so much detail that could go into this story. Considering the challenge,you did a great job of packing up all the emotion, action, and juicy karma story line within your 1k per chapter limit. I think I'd love to see a more fleshed out Orphic Revelations. That would be an awesome treat. Enough gushing, thanks for another awesome read.
