    Chapter 28

To add to the kudos, KUDOS I also have this story bookmarked and daily check to see it furthered. This chapter seems oddly short, or maybe I ate it quickly after the long break, LOL Please continue this fantastic series! I hope you can eventually publish this GREAT work.

    Chapter 27

I am not so happy about the glossing over of the smuggling operations and the remarkable turn around in attitude between Granger and O'brian. It seems odd that Granger would not remove his name from the bank if it could be linked to wrongdoing as well. Granger is very known for his rectitude, why would he not at least call back his "investment" and withdraw his name while making it known to the banker why? I understand he has a lot on his mind, and that he is in a very negative emotional place but he seems to truly be on a hard-nosed tear, he seems to be making enemies with alacrity; even Nelson could take umbrage. I wonder that this will not come to haunt him in an unexpected way.

    Chapter 68

I have now read the Bridgemont cover-to-cover, as it were. I have enjoyed every bit of it to date, and think it would do AMAZINGLY well in print. I cannot emphasize my pleasure in reading Bridgemont enought. Notes: Regarding the Brotherhood: Are there ranks in this membership? if so would solving the Arthur Issue and several naval successes cause any reward / acknowledgement? Such a position would help with or enable the Jardines rehabilitation. Constructive Critisism: I must note that not EveryOne can be helped/fixed/made-whole and the Jardines turn-about seems almost a bridge to far. Currently there is very little detail or interaction with its membership that are not directly involved with the government or military. Has it infiltrated other sectors? Also, it would seem that non-aristocrat member "associates" should possibly exist aka those retainers or persons that discover the organization and vow silence. IE: Holmquist, Winkler or others. Would a different brand be used to distinguish said? Regarding Nelson: To much more interaction might become difficult to justify simply because the fame of the figure leads many to know his entourage. Regarding France: The post-terror regime was nearly as ideological and very nearly as willing to remove...problematic individuals as what proceeded it. I sense Danger. Meanwhile Russian, Turks and our former The Former Colonists (americans) are now rather upset at the French, and this could bring new blood. Regarding Spain: The Spanish might "request" our captain from France? he has "some splaining to do Lucy" Regarding Portugal: hmmmm Regarding Ireland: Big Trouble Little Island? Former colonists redux I am likely adrift in regards to my thoughts, and I would not presume to influence an author, but I can't help but wish to find out all I can! BRAVO! KUDOS! ps: I await more with baited breath
  4. most awesome! more please!
  5. I keep wanting to see if "aggressive DNA" shows more effects upon (injection) repeated exposure? /blush Devin is definitely bio-forced into the female gender role NOW; but he isn't female, cognitive dissonance? how will that play out? What if the birth (by whatever means) results in Devons' injury or damage = only 1 child for them? Bastian is up front about his "chauvinism" but will Devin start to chafe / rebel against it once the "mommy-hormones" lighten up? How does inter-relationship conflict work amongst the Degan? How does it apply to this very unique sitch? Wonder what Callan will look like? How will the announcement of His birth be taken by Human & Degan at large? Will this result in a kind of race/mixing conflict? IE: the Degans-Evolve vs the Degonist Purity Faction?
  6. I get the feeling that this entire "incident" is increasingly looking like something that could end up in a war... I was kinda hopping that the "lab" took a plasma packet or twenty. Bloodthirstyness Aside = Im wondering what if any other changes will happen after the baby is "born" (i've ... reviewed the very intense intimate scenes several times)
  7. hmmmm. While I enjoy the somewhat byzantine nature of the plot "behind the curtain" I'm getting concerned that ANYONE at that age would be so likely to continue enforcing such a vendetta over such a long timeframe. This is getting to be close to 50% of the conscious social life of these kids. An Omega individual can be shunned yes, but unless there is continuing and repeated behavior then it would fade would it not? I guess I'm waiting to see if there are any glimmers of redemption on all sides or if this will continue to spiral into abject despair without salvage. I also feel like Nix and Spencer are just adjunct characters now? The matrix of beams and guy-wires holding up the complex plot instead of living inside it. I am still enjoying the story, and the Max subplot is inspiring and scary in that it will now force Nix to feel the "Grandkid Dilemma". Max also does not seem fully in the loop/plan or I doubt he knows the effect that slamming the trap will have on Nix
  8. Awesomeness! I wonder if the Degan's penchant for "protectiveness" will affect Devin in regards to his soon-to-be offspring? and please...more? ack, I just wanted to add that I really enjoyed your work I found on Nifty as well * * * * *
  9. I wish to first congratulate you on a touching and very well bought out story, I can only aspire to be half as sincere and touching. secondly, please...more?

    Chapter 16

This story has hit a very personal nerve. Zack's is so close to mine that I actually felt like somebody had stolen my life. All that was missing was my dog... I have only read 1 other (shane) that shows the true grinding away of self, the denigration, the auto-talk of the abused kid, the blame games, and the way holding all this pain in and "keeping the secret" isolates you. Bravo on the realism, hope it end well.
  11. Wonderful, Awful, MORE I am a bit put off by how unpredictable Dexter & Riley are.
