I'm happy the way the custody hearing turned out. I hope this development with the detective isn't too much for Scott and Noah to deal with. Great story...I can't wait for the next chapter!!!

I feel bad for Jake, although he did this to himself. He screwed girls and went and bragged about it. He blew guys and let them screw him and they talk. He should have seen it coming. I hope Caleb knows what he is doing and I hope Jake doesn't do something stupid. But, I remember being 16 and doing something stupid just comes with the territory. I am definitely hooked and can't wait for the next chapter.

I feel for Caleb. He is so torn right now. I only hope he is able to talk to Carson or someone. He needs to tell more than just his little sister. This is a fantastic story. I love how so much is packed into each chapter.

I know Caleb is pretending, but this is now the 3rd chapter of every other thing being that he is either dead, fake or pretending. While I am enjoying the story, this is getting a bit tiresome...or maybe it's just that I've forgotten how it was when I was his age and going through basically the same thing and this is dredging up those long forgotten memories. I agree that he needs to beak up with Avery. Leading her on is not kosher. I hope Know is not too wierded out!!!

Very emotional chapter for me. There is a great deal to be said about QUALITY of life versus QUANTITY of life. I'm glad Lily got to choose when to end her life and with her companions. Very touching.

I'm really sad about Mira being killed, but I somehow don't think this is the last we will see of him. I can't believe they left his body there. Konstantin knew about Mira and Shay and would do his part in bringing Mira back, at least in my mind. I am hoping that, from reading the other reviews and responses, that Chapter 12 does shed some light and answer some questions!!!

What a sweet and touching way for Shay and Mira to have their first "encounter." I think it was just precious. So innocent and yet, very moving. I like that you said it was about story first and foremost and not sex. If I want to read elongated sex scenes, I can go buy a trashy novel. I like sex as much as the next guy, but I prefer the story. This is a wonderful story so far!!! Can't wait to get to the next chapter!!!

I am most definitely hooked on this story. It is obvious that a great deal of time has passed since Shay was placed in the stasis chamber. I look forward to reading more and really getting into the story. I am glad I stumbled across this. It is so nice to read a story with correct spelling and grammar for a change!!! Thanks!!!

Wow...this was an emotionally charged chapter. After reading some of the other reviews, I don't see the rape as a deal breaker or unnecessary. There are homophobic people in this world and it is clear that Craig has not liked Nick from the get-go. Shit happens in this life...very ugly shit and you can't have roses without a few thorns!!! I hope Zoe is understanding as I can see that she loves Nick very much. We'll see what chapter 15 holds!!! -
Things seem to be falling into place...but, as with all good things, I am sure that a wrench !!! I hope the boys don't get hurt, but only time will tell!!!

It was interesting, but you really need to find an editor to correct the spelling and grammatical errors. It made the story a bit hard to follow. I hope this gets better!!!

I was quite intrigued with David's parable. I hope it is enough to get Betty to realize that if she forces her hand with Micah, he will be lost to her. I know it's hard for a parent to watch their child do the things that they, as a parent, think are wrong. I believe that if you give your child the tools to love unconditionally and to work hard, they will use those tools in their adult life. They may stray once in a while, but ultimately, they will come back.

I died laughing with Scott's mom and dad! I loved the 'it's the button marked speaker' bit!!! I literally laughed out loud!!! I am so happy that Lydia and Dick are coming around and fences are being mended there. -
Betty obviously has problems and issues with her own life that are controlling her role as a mother. Unconditional love should never have to be be questioned by a child. She should have been downstairs playing with her son and his b/f but her own stupidity and prejudices kept her from showing love and understanding. Betty needs some counseling by a qualified counselor...not one of those church related jerks!!! (Been there...done that!!!) I love how Stan stood up for his family. He's already lost one son because of his wife's issues...let' not have a nother one leave! Great chapter!!!
