Wow...what an intense ending to that chapter!!!

Obviously I got the wrong name in the last review. I meant Adam and not Ayden. David still has some things to learn. I hope the next few chapters change his attitude. I really don't like him much right now.

Apparently, David is making a lot of problems for himself and needs to figure some things out. It seems he's not yet ready to look at himself as the source of his problems with Ayden's being gay.

Methinks David is going to have some really tense moments ahead of him. I'm kind of shocked at his reaction. I hope he pulls his head out of his ass soon!!!

I hate when parents treat their children that way. Being gay is NO different from being straight. There is no reason for a parent to ever not show unconditional love to their child!!!

Thanks for the happy ending. I'm glad Colt and Leo were able to be together and remain such good friends with Albert and Jason. It did make me wistful and go thru a short period of what might've been, but it's all good.

This was an interesting chapter that brought tears to my eyes. I guess it could be that it mirrored something that happened to me. I only hope that Leo's and Colt's relationship doesn't end the way mine did.

So far, I'm intrigued. Let's see where this goes.

I loved this story. Yes, the clues were there, but it wasn't so obvious, at least not to me, that it made the story any less impactful.

I have to wonder if Chris is not one of Santa's little helpers. I just hope he is able to be who he needs to be and wants to be be and doesn't hurt Frank any more than Frank already has been.

Nice to see Frank taking Zach's side. It was also nice to see the change in JJ. I hope he continues to become less bitchy and more likable. Love this story and enjoyed the 3 narrators.

I like Catherine...yes, she's nosy, pushy, and very frank but I sense that she really does care about Frank and only wants to see him stop being alone.

I so enjoy this book, as well as the others in the series, and I think it's important to remember that, probably, most of us reading this weren't directly affected by the events of 9/11. That is to say that we weren't in the towers nor did we lose someone in the collapse of the towers. That being said, I also have to go back and remind myself over and over again that this story is not following the same time line we do. They were all there when it happened and are only a month and a half out from the devastation and death that was caused. It has to have a profound effect on how you view things and on how you react to situations. Family dynamics plus the stress of 9/11 coupled with death and dealing with all that has frayed emotions, split relationships and brought others closer together. I think this family is doing as well as can be expected, given what they have all been through. Thanks, Mark, for a very exciting roller coaster ride through the lives and emotions of this family. I can't wait for it to continue!!!

This is truly an inspiring story. We've all suffered loss and need to heal. Thank you for a timely and uplifting story at this festive time of year. Let us not forget, but move forward!

The best laid plans of bears and men...sometimes, planning something isn't the best way for it to happen!!! Troy certainly was in charge of the situation!!! What a wonderful chapter. I hope this is the beginning of beautiful things for Troy and Paddy!!!

I really hate the whole Troy "not wanting to go public" thing. It seems to me that the only person who it's going to be a problem for is Levi! Seems to me it would certainly ease some of the problems with Troy and Paddy. I can understand that Troy is coming to terms with being gay and having a male for a mate, but it also seems to me that the way they look at each other and are always touching and being together would have already made more than one person suspicious. I feel for Paddy and his homesickness. He is used to being surrounded by a large support system of people who love him.

Oh man!!! This is killing me!!! I really like this story. What will Birch do? How will he help Sayer? Tune in next week to find out the answers to these and other burning questions!!!

It really pains me when people can't look to the true source of their misfortunes. All hatred, revenge, bitterness, and scheming get you is a life totally alone and devoid of any love. I only hope these two can find a way to move on.

Oh what a tangled web we weave...I hope this can be worked out for the best for everyone. I hope that Darren does some growing up and figures out what he wants.
