I didn't want Jada and Sawyer's break up to be nasty. Bitter, angry ex-wives are a little cliche for me. It wasn't easy, but they made the choice which was best for both of them.

Jimmy waited in his truck, having long since bored of thumbing through his phone. Useless piece of junk. Who did he have to call anyways? Unchecked dust greyed the radio’s controls. I definitely wanted my version of werewolves to be more grounded with a hint of mysticism into their origins. I see the unfortunate human turns as the source of monster movies and myths, mangled and misshapen.

We'll start to see more of Jimmy's history next chapter. I shit you not, I named the boys Romulus and Remus originally and only changed them the day before posting because I thought it was too on the nose.

Fergus certainly has more to him than the standard alpha character. It'll be interesting to see how he develops as we go along. I feel like there's some depths we've only touched on so far.

Two sets of tiny chests swelled and deflated as the twins slept soundly in their crib. Freshly fed, their cherubic faces gave no indication of the chaotic night before. My jaded attitude is that this is what straight relationships are like - damaged and convoluted. Some day I might feature a story with a healthy straight couple. Have I ever done that before?

Thanks for reading. It's been a while since I've done a story with multiple POVs, but I couldn't see this one happening from only one person eyes. It should be a fun ride.

I decided to adjust my pattern for this story. I'm still doing the Wednesday Briefers. The difference this time is that GA will get the full chapter. My blog will get the 1k portion on Wednesday. then the remainder on Thursday. That's my goal for one chapter a week. I think it's doable. If something changes, you'll at least get the 1k a week, but I don't think I'll need to do that.
