  1. They recently released Final Fantasy Dimensions for us die-hard old-school fans for Android and iPhone devices. I haven't progressed far yet, but it's quite awesome...
  2. Zachary Quinto and heartthrob Jonathan Groff, famous from Spring Awakening musical is an item. They look so cute together with their two dogs.
  3. Noone chose Oprah? I channel her everytime I have to do a public speech. She's awesome. Jokes aside. Tom Merritt is awesome. Mostly remember him from CNET. But most recently I refound him doing a weekly show called Swords & Laser where he and his co-host talk about Sci-fi and fantasy books. He also wins my award for best beard. You can catch his show Sword and Laser on the youtube channel Geeksandsundry
  4. This is so beautiful. <3 I think it sets the mood for winter as well...
  5. Personally I thought the french hens were a reference to old french ladies gossiping...
  6. Try the closest public restroom? Maybe the park during night...? Jokes aside though. The best way is to join online communities, there should be a gay version of probably any interest that you might have. Into gaming? Maybe gaygamers.net is something for you? They have a very active online forum and an active chat at the right hours. They host meet-ups from time to time as well if you live in areas with many people. In Sweden, if you don't want to go to gay clubs there are other ways to meet people. There's an online community where you can chat and join different groups for those that share the same interest. There's bound to be an american version of it (and it might be better!). You can join GLBT groups that work with politics. There are GLBT singing group (most often choir or gospel), you can also volunteer for the next gay pride in your city... There's grindr if you own a smart phone. But be specific in the description what you're looking for as it's mostly an app for hook-ups.
  7. Merry Christmas.
  8. Since my family don't celebrate Christmas, I've always celebrated it with my ex-boyfriend and his relatives. We did this the last five years and I've been invited over this year as well. They cook a traditional swedish christmas dinner. Some of the really good dishes and some are bad (really disgusting)... It's really nice as well since everyone helps out making the food out of scratch, even the small 5 year old kids. Last year I was in charge of making the meatballs. Which I did with my ex's nephews and nieces. So for starters they always have glögg which is mulled wine. They also have "dopp i grytan" which is where they take the leftover oils and fat from cooking the christmas ham, make a broth from it and then dip pieces of dark bread in it (this is really disgusting, I tried it once, and ever since, I make myself scarce whenever that is served). This is all before the actual dinner. For the christmas dinner there's a huge spread of food. The centerpiece is a mustardglazed ham, there's potatoes, a potato-gratin with onions and anchovy (called Jansson's Frestelse, I avoid this), smoked salmon, an assortment of pickled herring (the one in mustard is really good), They also serve home-made meatballs and prince sausage (small sausages) and the most disgusting thing of all... Lutefisk (white fish that has been preserved in lye over a period of time)... There's also a lot of side dishes with cabbages and home-made bread with a lot of cheeses.
  9. Seasons Greetings! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! In Sweden we celebrate the eve of christmas, so the presents are opened in the afternoon and the big dinner is on the eve.
  10. He is pretty good looking. Too bad he quit shortly after the european tournament. Don't you look a bit like him Sym? ^^
  11. Välkommen Lillebror! Kul med fler skandinavier! Tillsammans ska vi erövra hela GA! According to site admin I have to translate what I just wrote... "Welcome Littlebrother! (it's what swedes calls their norwegian neighbours) Happy to see more scandinavians on this site! Together we shall conquer GA! :D"
  12. Why I prefer Android (and I own a Galaxy Nexus) - Map system doesn't suck. (It has access to Locus Map the best map app ever made, last time I checked, iPhone did not have it, which brings us to the next one...) - iPhone app store only allows apps in to the app store after long reviews (often weeks). Android lets any developer in as long as they agree to their policies. - Keyboard, typing text messages or e-mail messages are so much easier on the android than the apple. - Customizability, I want my home screen to work as effecient for me as possible. Why do I have to chose which apps that are quick accessed in the dock? I don't understand that. - Widgets are better, looks more clean - Stellar integration with the google services like calendar and drive.
  13. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXTL6JecNU8 I'm obsessed with this music video right now. I've only been awake for 2 hours and I have watched this at least 10 times. Why doesn't life have more of these spontaneous dance routines?
  14. What? Did you even watch the movie?
  15. So I realized that there are a lot of independent, well-made gay themed short movies on youtube. If you find any, please share them here.
  16. Usually twitter trendmap can help you find out what everyone's talking about: http://trendsmap.com/
  17. Get into the christmas spirit!
  18. Happy birthday John!!!!!!!
  19. I loved A Charlie Brown Christmas when I was young. But then I saw this on youtube this morning... it kind of ruined my whole childhood. <.<; For favorite song... I'd have to go with the swedish Betlehems Stjärna How come I can't post media files now? >.<; *Lights the AJ signal*
  20. Wow. I talked to Roan on the chat in october or september. I think we kind of bonded because of our interest in chemistry. I never knew he was ill, so I hoped to talk to him some more after that. I guess it's not possible anymore. I wish I got to know him better.
  21. You can preorder and get the European styled houses and roads. German, french and italian I believe are available. Due to be released in early 2013. I don't like that you're limited in plot sizes for building the city. But the multiplayer seems interesting.
  22. Please tell me that you've at least played FFXI - followed the storyline and played it through with some friends of yours. If not - then just don't even bother commenting about FFXI's storyline.
  23. You can do other things than write on Facebook/Twitter in the bathroom. I just don't like to waste time so I read my rss feed.
  24. Seems like we're all RPG junkies here. From earliest childhood these are the video game series I've played and still buy every game they release of: - Civilization - Baldur's Gate (iOS new release ) - Final Fantasy - Suikoden - Fire Emblem - Pokemon - Ace Attorney - Professor Layton - Mass Effect - Dragon Age
  25. If you're not into MMOs, then don't count in FFXI. FFXI is a game that I have many fond memories of playing - and has in my opinion the best storyline of -all- FF-games. FFXII was fun - it was fun to run around in Ivalice, although playing with more of the races (and not just the Humans and the Viera) would have been fun. FFXIII I couldn't really get into. The whole game style was choppy and it was hard to not be able to controll all your characters.
