I've always been interested in investing time into AC-series. But I'm not sure that I want to start from ACI. Do you think I'll be able to enjoy the franchise without playing ACI&ACII?

They actually recently upoaded a youtube video on the detailed character customization for FFXIV:ARR. This is from the alpha, so nothing is really set in stone. But looks awesome-nontheless. I was also very happy to find that there were so many linkshells (groups/guild equivalent in FFXI and FFXIV) have a zero-tolerance of discrimination of any kind. Homophobia is otherwise a big problem in the gaming community.

You play FFXIV? I'm on the Sargartanas server named Teddy Maximoff! My LS and me made a photo shoot of Dalamud last night. The last save will be on november 1st, and not many of us will be online past that. That's my lalafell doing a /lookout emote.

Even though Steam has run out of cd-key it's usually fixed after a day or so, might not be good for games that you want to play right away, but it's a lot faster than other sources. Steam also has loads of sales. So when ACIII is released in november, I'd expect it to go for a small discount during the christmas sales.

Not everyone knows how to drive though! But the railway system is quite good and well connected. Can always get one of those european railway passes to backpack through Europe!

I have to agree, Max is my favorite gay character on TV right now. Not stereotypically anything, except he likes guys.

I only read marvel comics. I subscribe to Uncanny X-Men, X-Factor, X-Men Legacy and Young Avengers (though they seem to have taken a break). Young Avengers has been my favorite series as well - the two gay characters Billy and Teddy - and how the Scarlet Witch has played such a big role in the series so far. Makes my fanboy heart beat extra fast.

First time on that continent. Was only at the east coast, can't wait to go see the west coast as well.

Vivi probably is the most memorable FF-character for me. His search for his identity was so compelling... I guess that when FFIX was released, I identified myself with him.

Life of Pi Not sure if it's better than the book though. It seems to be CG-tastic. But I guess it could be expected...
