  1. Reading this chapter makes me profoundly grateful that I've never had to do anything like that. And it makes me even more determined to defend the rights of men (and women) to love whoever they want and fuck anyone who says different.

    I. In the Cards

I'm always annoyed with people who cannot take charge of their own lives, and in particular women who let themselves be used by uncaring (married) men. Meg may have done Josh a huge favor, but he certainly paid her back, if she stopped dating abusive losers and put herown well-being first.

    Chapter 43

I'm disappointed in Wade, I thought he had better manners. Discussing the wedding in front of JJ is inconsiderate. For once I think JJ has a valid reason to bitch about something. In contrast Will and Zach continue to fulfill my wishes for them, so thank you for that, Mark.
  4. Yes, Nelson is realising this too, I think. It's funny how Eric's temper flares up when it comes to defending his boyfriend, whereas he is normally quite calm and deliberate. I'm glad you liked the epic shirt competition, it was fun to write.
  5. I'm impressed and immensely grateful for all the wonderful reviews. They made me revisit the chapters and all the other great reviews my friends have left for me. As long as it's a competition I guess jocks will participate, lol. Especially if they get to tease at the same time.
  6. Yes, Nelson is discovering that having Eric as a boyfriend (and Rob as a 'brother-in-law') is something of a challenge. But I'm sure he'll rise to the occasion. Reading together in bed can be wonderful.
  7. Thanks, Isaac, I'm so pleased you liked the vanilla banter, it's one of my favorites too.Sometimes it only takes the firm voice of an older boy to encourage other kids to go with what they know is right. And Rob is definitely a better role model than Kev.
  8. Well, who can work out what is going on in the heads of high school girls? I certainly can't - although in most cases I'm tempted to say 'apparently not a lot' I think you're right about the four boys; we'll have to see how Tony and Maria (and Carolyn) fits into the group.
  9. Turnabout is fair play, or whatever the expression is. I'm glad you also liked this bit of fun.I think you're right and Eric does appreciate his brother deep down, even if he finds saying so difficult. But then Rob does tease a lot and gives his younger bro a hard time.
  10. Most teens are wired to sleep late in the mornings. Starting school at eight is torture in my opinion. But donuts should help, lol.I'm glad you liked the age of consent talk, I think it's quite unfair that Nelson gets the 'behave' talks, when Eric is the pushy one.
  11. Even horny teens in love can learn. I'm glad you liked the phone sex, it was my first.
  12. Thanks, Rex. I have to admit I grinned quite a bit while writing.
  13. Well, what would Eric know about sexy underwear at age fifteen ? For that matter, I'm not sure Nelson has much experience either. But they can probably have fun online looking at various options. Bikini style sounds good (if somewhat female too).I'm writing and hope to get it done over Easter. No promises though.
  14. I'm glad you noticed Eric has loosened up, This is exactly what I wanted to show. He has been hiding, partly because he is naturally introvert and partly because he didn't know how to deal with his crush on Nelson. But now the lid has blown off, and we get to see his full potential. At times this will shock people around him, including Nelson.
  15. Aren't all meet the parents moments awkward ? Keeping Rob grounded was not a good idea - particularly for the story development, lol.
  16. Yes, he does and I think curious is the perfect term for Rob's interest. Whether he'll try and satisfy his curiosity by barging in on Nelson and Eric or by getting his own experiences, remains to be seen. In any case, learning to lock the door would be a good idea.

    Chapter 35

Why doesn't Liam tell Clarissa and Neil that his parents have forbidden him to go? I bet Neil will suddenly find he is upset about Alf not being there. And the one thing which may make his parents relent would be a mail from Neil asking Alf to come to his party. He could even say, he's making plans to go without his parents knowing, but if they find out, he may not be able to make it. After all, does Liam really want to stand Neil up, if Doug's plan falls through? But I guess I'm expecting too much from Liam, he's actually not that bright, right? It was good to see Tony and Sam take care of Neil. They can relate to him in quite another way, and Neil needs gay role models in his life. As well as father figures. Talking to Jim is a good idea too, once Tony has reassured his boyfriend that Neil no longer has a crush on him. By the way, is Neil still working in the sports store? We haven't heard about this for a while. The owner was a good ersatz-father too.
  18. Yes he does - and I think he likes to do it. I'm glad you like the parents, since I know you're one too.
  19. Yeah well, there has to be at least some idiot teens in the story or it would have to be labelled 'fantasy' lol.Why would they lock the door? Nothing was going on.
  20. Well, you did inspire me to do the 'epic straight boy clothing war' LOL, so you deserve it. And it's still a draw.
  21. Once again your instincts are spot on. Better keep reading, you need to catch up ! I'm glad you liked this chapter, it's one of my favorites too.
  22. “You honestly think I would wear something like that?” They were in their third clothing shop and Nelson was getting fed up. He’d managed to buy a shirt and a pair of jeans in Abercrombie & Fitch, and Eric had been the one to find the green and black T-shirt, which might become his new favorite. His boyfriend had also bought a soft, clingy shirt for himself, which had Nelson drooling as he saw the way it molded to Eric’s well-shaped torso. Now they were in the Benetton shop and Rob
  23. Your instincts are good. Glad Jasper gets your approval as well as Rob. Most people are there to watch the game, so discreet snuggling is not a problem. Not that anyone would dare to confront Nelson, lol.
  24. Yeah, I'm sure she proud to have been 'the first to know' about them. But at least she went with the 'so cute' attitude.Rob has his faults but he's a caring brother who likes to see Eric and Nelson together.
