    I think Ischa did a pretty good job of keeping Hel calm. He's not to blame for Hel freaking out, and maybe it will help that he meets Hel's spirit form. Clothes shopping should probably wait until Hel has gained some weight.

    Rob and Eric's dad has been William (or Will) since chapter 14, but I'm glad you approve of him. Yes, I'm hoping the Mall can provide us with various interesting situations. Right now I'm writing the part where they're on their way.

    You don't know how pleased I am with this compliment, Jaro. I try hard to make fun dialogue and interactions, since it's not my strong side of writing, so knowing I succeeded is a big deal.

    It's always fun to find out what readers notice. Rob does seem determined to keep Eric comfortable - apart from when he has fun teasing.

    Thanks LL, yeah Rob had a small lock-the-door reminder that morning, so it was fresh in his mind. I'll do my best to find someone suitable for Rob, but maybe it's better for him to wait till college. After all the poor guy hasn't had a chance to fool around yet.

    Hmm, so they ask Jim to visit and bring a team mate, hoping it will be Ty, and this worked, Will they want Jim, too,, once they see him and Ty together? And how will Ty and Jm react when they find out? Things are falling apart on Liam, and I almost felt sorry for him, when he had to admit having a crush on Neil. But at least Neil didn't freak too much after his initial reaction of running. Clarissa even tried to help Neil accept Liam. The incident with Doug defending Neil was funny, but initially scary.

    The mysterious redhead is beginning to annoy me, but at least he has progressed to a smile at CJ, showing he has noticed him too. Maybe he'll approach him next time, if there are no protective dads around. Couldn't be much of a kitchen issue if Danno had time to keep yakking for several paragraphs, lol. I hope he tells his reporter friend to get lost, no matter how friendly he is. CJ doesn't need more stress in his life, not even in the shape of positive attention and fleeting fame. Plus I'm pretty sure telling his story of how he came to live with his dads will be against the deal they made with the step-bastard.

    I'm sure Nelson's mom has no intention of making him hide. But remember she hasn't really seen him with Eric, and she knows the younger teen has just come out and may be shy. In addition she does not want Nelson to do things to provoke, which is quite different than acting naturally. I'm not saying she needed to warn him, and she did drop the matter quickly, but in my experience even sensile mothers can be protective occasionally.

    This chapter was only a bit shorter than average (= 1388 words) and only 7 of of 21 chapters are longer. But if it's any comfort the next ones are longer.And if you change my pseudonym, how can I do fast Card edits? You may be right in saying Nelson is a morning person, I hadn't really thought about it.
