  1. You guys are such rabble-rousers ! I'm sure Rob knocked the other times as well, but this time the buys were next to the door and not too preoccupied. So even a soft knock was heard. Glad you still enjoy it.
  2. Thanks Carlos, but the credit should go to Nelson for a clever scheme. Fuck, you really do want lots of trouble for our boys, don't you. I'm not sure I can create that much drama. I can't stand Brussels sprouts, maybe I should have use them instead...
  3. You want one straight guy to be attracted to another straight guy ? That's a bit strange, even for me...Anyway, you may be right about the drama, although I had no plans of that. But with Rob involved I suppose anything could happen. Glad you liked Nelson's strategy
  4. LOL - well ever Rob isn't oblivious enough to provoke his mom mere hours after being grounded.I'm so glad you felt like that, parents HAVE to make teens cringe, it's a natural law.
  5. Wow, thanks Cia ! That was unexpected. I'm flattered you chose my prompt story to feature here. And of course I wouldn't be able to write the chapters without comicfan's great First Liners.
  6. “Oh crap! Here we go again.” The words flew out of my mouth before I could stop to think. I immediately turned to Eric. “Sorry, I didn’t mean it like that, but I thought one ‘meeting-of-the-parents’ was enough for any first date.” And why were they here so early, it was only nine-thirty. My boyfriend rolled his eyes. “I couldn’t agree more, but I suppose it’s only fair that I meet your folks too. We had better get down there and do some damage control, before my mom asks them abou
  7. Something like that gets written in the book of good deeds, and even if no one else knows, you get to feel proud of yourself.

    Chapter 5

I noticed we aren't the only ones thinking that Nathan didn't treat Clem right. And wishing him luck on his date. Wonder if Clem will bring Ash to the farm soon. So sweet the way Clem opened like a flower to the warm sunshine of Ash's personality. Hope the feeling is mutual.
  9. Yes, Rob might have been stumped a bit, but I'm sure he'll rally and be back to his usual bouncy self.

    Mall Madness!

Everything was so strange since I've never been to a US mall in the seventies. But it was fun too and I liked the way the older boys were helpful and didn't put pressure on them to try pot.
  11. Thanks Carlos, I'm glad somebody supports Rob being straight. And I thought you might enjoy the brotherly interactions, so I'm happy they were spot on. Foot-in-mouth is probably a permanent condition for Rob.
  12. Thanks Gary. I'm flattered that you're taking time on your vacation to read the story. I'm sure there'll be a queue to teach Rob to bottom. I'm glad that Nelson and Eric stil meets with your approval. At least they are off to a good start.
  13. Yes, I wonder what is going on in his head too. Hopefully Eric and Nelson will get there eventually. But you have to admit it's more fun this way, isn't it?
  14. What about Cassie? Maybe she's been waiting for this chance for ages? But Rob is probably not ready for a new relationship right now. And he's not the only one who can put his foot in his mouth.
  15. Yes, they are, lol. But if you don't use them...
  16. “You expect us to believe that?” Eric shook his head at Rob’s glib answer, and Nelson agreed. His boyfriend’s brother was unusually nosy about what he and Eric did in private. Not that they had done much except kissing and a bit of close body contact. “I don’t care if you believe me or not.” Rob began but then his phone rang, and Eric recognized Melanie’s ring tone. Rob dug out his phone and ended the call. He kept the phone in his hand and when it rang again, he pressed ignore once more. H

    Chapter 31

Maybe the Escorial support group should get on Zach's case too. Or Brad could just dump the 'counsellor' and Zach's dad on the North Pole.
  18. Yay another Rob fan Please go and get your T-shirt over in the forum. Thanks Lit, I'm flattered you spent time on your birthday to read the story ! Good call on Rob and Eric's parents, that's just how I wanted them to come across.
  19. Tillykke med fødselsdagen for joining us in the forums of Sasha, Cole and Aditus, your contributions are appreciated.
  20. Wonderful ! - I bet other people want peacock fans now. And of course Penelope's father doesn't mind Kayden, since the fact that Damien has a dearly beloved companion is a good sign he won't ever marry. Thus the sons of Harrison and Penelope will inherit - first the Dukedom and eventually the Kingdom. But it's nice that he isn't just tolerant but actually seems to accept Kayden.
  21. I guess no matter how awesome your parents are, all teens grumble about them at times. They wouldn't be teens if they didn't. But I'm glad that my readers appreciate the parents, because many stories have a bigoted mom or dad being the drama aspect. With good reason, I suspect, but I wanted to show normal parents who annoyed all of their kids whether gay or straight. And I fell over laughing at your first line. I did think Team Rob would be VERY interested in the answer. Chapter 17 has just gone for beta reading, so hopefully you'll know more soon.
  22. Thank you so much, Gary, I was awaiting your review eagerly. You always manage to point out things in my stories that I never knew was there.I would guess Melanie is the standard pretty, self-centered, empty-headed high school girl, which is probably as much a stereotype as limp-wristed gay men. But don't feel too bad for Rob, I'm sure he'll bounce back soon. He's like a rubber duck, impossible to keep down. Irrepressible is the word, isn't it? The three (or four) amigos - I like that. And just as Eric and Nelson will work together to cheer up Rob, I'm sure you noted Rob and Nelson silently agreeing to protect Eric.

    Chapter 4

just what we wanted: Clem takes trips away to meet someone - or at least look at the other fish in the sea. Clem makes it clear to Nathan it's over - and even better, he realizes he doesn't actually miss Nate. Clem meets somebody nice and he says yes to having a coffee. (But why didn't Clem just keep the new shirt on?) Thanks Sasha, just what I needed to warm me on a cold Sunday morning.
  24. LOL - I did the calculation, Lisa. You've written 3.4 % of the reviews !!
  25. You shouldn't ! Think of all the fun stories your prompts have sparked. Surely those account for quite a chunk of words too. (about 20,000 of mine)
