  1. I have to say I despise Brice more for every chapter I read. What a self centered, shallow, nasty guy. I'm guessing you're setting him up for a horrible fall, but even if he deserves it, I don't really want to read any more. But you are a good writer to be able to evoke such intense feelings in your readers.

    Chapter 14

Three times in a twelve hour period :-) - but I'm glad that Noah finally had a real man. I hope Derek pees his pants when he is confronted with a naked and armed Eli.

    Chapter 5

Is there ever gonna be a chapter where Cole does not get his heart wrung out ? Damn I want to punch Joel. But at least Cole got to take his man home and out on a ride (on a horse I mean ;-)

    Chapter 3

This is such an intense chapter, so many secrets revealed, and in some very uncomfortable ways. I felt even more sorry for Cole, and I can certainly understand why he wanted to drown his sorrows. But again there is also pride for the way he came out to his family, very cool - including his parents' reactions. But I cannot forgive Jared for going back to Joel for more empty sex. What a stupid idea, he certainly deserves to feel bad about that.

    Chapter 1

Every time I read this chapter I cringe with embarrassment for poor Cole and his ignorance based bad manners towards Jared. And then I feel so proud of him that he went up to the guy and apologized in sign language. Finally I really wanted to slap the bitchy sister for calling Cole Farmboy, because I bet Jared never signed that or even knew about the nickname. I never felt so sorry for a guy in love before.
  6. Liked the flash back style, that worked very well. And so funny that Mathew was gay, but Gregg isn't. But I have to ask: what is 'Australian business with the pink bus' ?? Thank you for another fantastic story, Sasha. I'll be back for another read in some months time, when I want to feel happy. (Oh and I laughed at the thought that there was only one pedestrian :-)

    Long Goodbyes

I think their dream forest will always have a small part that reminds them of their special place by the summer camp. So that when they are remmebering how they met, they'll be there in their mind melt. And it will always stay perfect and full of good memories, no matter what happens to the real area.
  8. I found it quite telling that Troy showed his yearning for new family ties to replace the ones he left in Norway by drawing them together with Gregg. And interesting that bear talk seems to transcend language barriers - would that work with non-English speakers as well (so Russian, German or Hungarian bears) ?

    Chapter 55

Of all the interesting characters of this awesome series, I think Will may be my favorite. Only Stef rivals him in my mind. I just love the way Will cuts through all the crap and that he has no patience with fools - especially people who try to manipulate or force him to do things. I know he has his own faults and issues, and he does not always react wisely, but this example with Zach is exactly why I think he is so cool. I want to applaud every time he exposes or traps people around him to show that they are being stupid or mean or controlling or selfish or intolerant or unjust. Hope he'll stay a main character for a long time.

    Patience

Well, seems as if your readers are speechless as well :-) Or else I'm just lucky to be on almost the same time frame as you and got to read this as soon as it came out. Now that I've read it for the third time, all I can say is that it was just as amazing as I expected - even if it did not happen the way Paddy had planned. That was actually a fun twist that Troy made the decision and Paddy just had to go along. Oh and candles are a very Scandinavian thing, so it's not too suprising that Troy appreciated the gesture. And I'm sure he'll enjoy making love to Paddy by candlelight. And maybe he'll add an extra birthday gift and snuggle in bed rather than getting up at dawn. I'm really all on Paddy's side there, I hate getting up in the morning as well as early risers who cannot understand that it's not a matter of getting used to it or 'just go to bed earlier'.

    Boundaries

I got the feeling that Nic was very pissed off at being told how to act from higher up and even more angry that someone from the group questioned his leadership decisions. This might actually work in Paddy and Troy's favour. Even if Nic still gets annoyed to see them display their connection openly. And I don't think it was Levi who busted them, my money is on the vegan bitch. Anyway it was wonderful to see the change in Troy after they came out as a couple, nice reward for him as well as Paddy. And interesting that Troy is actually a nice person when he is not scared or dealing with unhappy memories. But I guess you have to be at least somewhat sociable and kind in order to deal with a camp full of kids week after week. I wouldn't be able to, that's for sure :-)

    Resistance

Sly and sensual in the forest - oh yeah Paddy will persuade Troy very soon. Or rather Try will end up begging him, so I wonder if Paddy will tease him and make him wait for a while. Good thing that Troy does not want to live in Norway - and there is lots of snow in Scotland. No Norway spruce forests though, but at least the Scots pine are common to both countries as well as ragged mountain peeks and rivers.
  13. What is Nick's problem ? Why does he think he needs to act any different because some of his staff are gay ? Very silly, but at least Sean set him straight ;-) And thank God that Troy finally came out - and I liked his small revenge in outing Levi at the same time. Wicked but fair.
  14. Having read this several times, I don't know why I've never managed to leave a comment before now. But your Summer Camp story reminded me to go back and enjoy this bear tale again. And it's even better knowing what I do now, 'cause it's obvious that Todd immediately knew that Hoyt was his mate, and that's probably why it was so difficult for him to approach him in a normal way, thus creeping him out at first. And I liked Hoyt's personality, he never came across as pathetic, even when he was at his worst. Lots of editing to be done, but at least you told us so. Let me know if you want a list of all the things I noticed, I'd be happy to help, if your usual editors are busy with your other stories.

    Communication

Oops, oops, and triple oops. I wonder if Paddy will return from his little dream forest sex adventure with a mess in his pants. That would go over really well with his chaperone - not !
  16. Short but compelling and I liked the subtle Pandora hints. So how about writing some more stories for us ? Whether about Johnny or Hope or something totally unrelated, I'm sure they'll be appreciated.

    Retaliation

Ohh the image of Paddy chewing out the bullies, looking absolutely scaring as he roars at them. Wonderful. And Troy having to help him control himself, he, he. But I don't see why they cannot have sex in their cabin for the rest of the week - unless they expect Gregg to have to stay in his one-man tent. But I thought the whole purpose was to have him return to his group tent and make the other boys behave, because if he left, they would have won.

    Escapism

Nice to see that Troy can be sensitive and understanding and helpful, when Paddy is homesick. But I guess he is no stranger to missing your dad. Levi is getting on everybody's nerves, but I do feel sorry for him. He would probably have succeeded in flirting with Paddy if not for the mate thing.
  19. Aww, ouch, ouch, ewww, damn. That was pretty bad, including the dead bunny - but there were some bright spots too, like the drawings Troy did. And I loved the phrases: 'giant vibrating fluffy pillow' (wonderful image in my head) and 'his morning Troy proximity erection'.

    Alone Together

Oh yeah - sex in the woods, sizzling hot in the rain. Can't complain about that part. But it would be nice if you managed to keep sight of the correct word to use in the bold marked sites of the sentences below: With not a harness or safety rope in site (should be sight) when Paddy was in site of the assault course (should be sight)

    Campfire Roars

Good job on the bed, but oops on Noah seeing it. However, I have to admit that Troy's refusal to be open about their relationship is beginning to be a problem - he almost derserves to be jealous of Levi's attempts to snag Paddy. Oh and I simply cannot work out the meaning of this part: "Paddy snarled into his skin, nipping at the new bruise and the damaged skin as he realised the young man in his lap. He blew on the hot skin." What is it that Paddy realizes ? Or was it meant to be another verb ?
  22. Must remeber to tell you that I loved the long description of them in their first-time-fur view and snuggle - and the sex was hot too. Wonder if Troy will let Paddy brush his fur as well as his hair.

    Chapter 9

So what about the sequel you've promised us ? I can see I'm not the only reader waiting anxiously to see something nice happen in Darrell's life :-) And cool with the clever shrink, I liked the way she was protective yet understanding and practical. I bet her friend is just as helpful, and I hope Darrell will find other people to support him too. But before he leaves, he really should talk to Luke and explain. Might lead to a nice surprise, even if they are not meant to be boyfriends.

    Chapter 7

Oh shit this chapter always makes me cringe in more than one way. But all in all I think Darrell did quite well, and he has no reason to feel embarrassed about his asumptions or behaviour. And good that he managed to talk to Adam, hope he and Brock may become Darrel's friends in the future.
  25. Timothy M.

    Chapter 4

So sad, but at least he has a clever kind and loving mum. But I can understand why he would feel upset about being so oblivious - being pushed into having the same one track mind as his dad. And the small snippet about Adam was heart wrenching, but also very revealing.
