Destiny - A Novel By Ac Benus
Timothy M. replied to Puppilull's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
well, you certainly managed to make us do rants, AC. How could they ?! -
Ooops, sorry your presents almost made me forget I prefers blonds. Almost... (I need to get back to Rob. And Jacob. And Peter )

So many interesting things in this chapter. I'm beginning to like Brendan and Isaac a lot, and I'm still at how events conspire to keep them clueless about Ty's change of character. Although I almost feel sorry for them, they'll be so annoyed when they realize after the Blues pick Ty as a first round draft. They'll be almost as surprised as him. But of course there is still time for the whole secret to unravel, but I sure you'l come up with new fun smokescreens. Their talk about Dave was good to hear, both for the fact that the team doctors are keeping matters conficential and in relation to the support offered by the mental heath organization. Oh and the guess by Isaac was spot on, but I was impressed with the way he deat with it. But it shows that Dave's secret may not last - and the scandal loving muck media and other cockroaches may pop up at the most inconvenient time. Fingers crossed that it will be after the grand final. The discussion between Deon and Clarissa was great, she laid out the rules, but at the same time she told Deon he was important enough for her to include in her decisions. They are very good for each other, and I think Deon will be a lot more successful as a football player with Clarissa by his side. Any chance she might want to move to Sydney? She could share a flat (apartment) with Liam. Or both couples could share. I'm sure both Liam and Neil's parents would feel much better if Clarissa was there to boss the boys around. I agree with lux, being with the brat was a great way to let us follow the game. I enjoyed Peter's instructions too, he really is a great coach, and I hope he ends with a well-deserved win. Of course all of them deserves this - and one of the benefits will also be that the stupid sponsor who left at the end of last season hopefully regrets his decision. I hope the radio station tells their listeners to turn out in droves to support the Leopards, and I'd like to see some Purple Bombers too. It' going to be soooo exciting !! Peter's chat with the brat about the Mum nickname was cool. Of course we know why he does not want Julie's authority undermined in any way, but his reasoning woud apply even if he didn't hope Julie will become the head coach after him. And these kind of talks help Ty mature as a person and as a vice-captain. We tend to forget he's still young and impulsive, but that's OK as long as his heart is in the right place. Did I forget anything? Oh well, that's what the forum is for. Ahh, yes: Great chapter, Graeme, I can't wait for next Saturday.

Ohhhh a firefighter. Now I'm envious. Those two sound like a hot and happy couple.

We eagerly await the result of your speculations.

My suggestion would be to show Jerry through the eye of Miles first. It's will be interesting what an only child thinks of an older brother and how he relates to Jay. Then perhaps a chapter with a split POV from Jerry and Jay. But you'll have to see what comes natural with the story you want to tell concerning Jerry.

Timmy's Terrible Prompt Stories by TimothyM

Thank you for the input, I appreciate it a lot. For now I'm leaning towards Dugh's standpoint, so don't expect anything to happen in the Nelson/Eric story. But I may do a couple of Rob-in-college prompts down the line, and perhaps he'll satisfy some of his curiosity then. I can see him in a threesome with a nice couple, or maybe just watching his gay room mate getting laid. It is tempting to let Rob go all the way - ie have a romance with a guy, but I think I need to resist, kittens or not.- 1,697 replies

If Ryan does himself in, Will is going to crashland in a major funk. Even if Jeff is there, it's gonna be bad. But I hope Jeff will get to Ryan in time. Zach is still a mystery.

Well, you're not the only one to feel that way, as you can see. However, Rob is definitely straight, and while he may be curious it remains to be seen how far that might take him. I'm still trying to make up my mind on the matter.- 1,697 replies

This was such a wonderful comment, Drew, I'm sorry I forgot to reply. Maybe it was the Nelson for president which sort of left me speechless, lol. To me Nelson's shyness and also Eric being introvert are major parts of the story, since I can relate to that much more than the brashness of Rob or the teasing clevernes of Jasper. I'm delighted that the same aspects resonate with you. I'll try to focus on this occasionally, just for you (and me).- 1,697 replies

I'm impressed with your comprehensive research, CG. But what do you need a list of bars for ?

I'd love Linda's POV again.

Black Widow (Story Discussion)

Good points, I'll concede that Will won't use the Club to spend Brad's money. Except for taking a private jet out there to sort matters out. -

I'm flattered, but why do you expect me to be able to explain? Although I think you can choose your own member title at 500 posts, so keep going. But I don't mind being at your beck and call, my lady. -

I think you're right, except for the fact that Will is looking for ways to spend money. But of course he want to be in control of how his money is spent, and he'll soon lose patience with Trey or whoever is running the Club as a private party. In any case, I look forward to the confrontation. -
Very likely or rather JAR the Hydra will strike again: for every question answered, three new pop up.

Chapter 35 King of Clubs
Timothy M. commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 35 King of Clubs
Plus Kendall doesn’t want her to crash and kill the baby. That’s how he’ll sell the idea to the Acetos anyway, lol. Deuce really shone in this chapter, he played Candy perfectly. King of Clubs indeed: First the stick and then the carrots, eh? Getting her car fixed, making sure there is someone kind to take care of her, when she gets home, what will the next be? Candy won’t know what’s hit her, once Kendall the Caretaker gets going. My favorite quote: plumbing the depths.
