Talent is nothing if you don't work at it. Talent might do lots of things, but it has no sticking power. It's all about the hard work. Thank you clochette. I love it when people say I'm amazing. animal welfare issues have to be weighed up against freezing to death... Is Canada Goose trendy? can one ever be trendy in a down filled parka at minus 20? Me, I love fur, but since it's not required for my weather, it has to be well-used fur, by which I mean the animal in came from needs to have been eaten by someone. Fur as a by-product is all well and good. I'm trying to imagine you in a sable coat (and nothing else)... it's a good image! *waves from behind the keyboard* Thank you sweetie! All the skill is Ma's, truly. I just have talent, it's not that special - I have a really really awesome team with me. -
And thus I take the very brief (very, very brief) opportunity to lie back on my laurels and proclaim: "Lo, I have done the authors work, and successfully ensnared someone whom at first glance has nothing in common with these people and made her feel for them. Nah, it's a hoodie - so it's fleece and felt, not fur, even though everyone always describes it thus. the fluffy lining is Minky short pile faux fur, which is you look it up online, is also not like that guy up there's fur. Carlos, I promise to find him and send him your way. I'll bet he's even cuter under all that fluff! HoHo, I'm not torturing you! Just think how long the damn thing took me to write, and Kitt to edit. You can't have it all at once. After all, absence makes the heart grow fonder... and more frustrated. -

Jon hasn't specifically done anything wrong, and a certain amount of hazing is expected within the industry. If AJ let him go now, without a concrete reason, Jon could bad mouth them and damage the reputation of the shop. and we wouldn't want that. Just wait and see.

NaNoWriMo can be a great tool, or it can be a really good way to procrastinate - it sort of depends how you treat it. I have "won" NaNoWriMo 5 times, but quit partially due to the fact my local group was run by people who didn't like it when other people succeeded - it was that type of group. I find the challenge very useful, but much of the community is a bit useless. If you're going to attempt Nano this year, Good luck! And have fun!
