LOL! It always amazes me when I see people walking these tiny dogs and they are pulling and straining at the leash. If I can walk a 2,000 lb draft horse on a leash without a problem, why can they not teach a tiny fur ball to walk nice?

OK, now I have this picture in my mind of this hulk all scrunched over with his head against the floor peeking under the sofa with one eye and getting his nose either licked or nipped for the effort!

Have you considered doing her training? Lots of work I know but it needs doing, no matter where the pup lives.

Readers, why do you read a story but not Comment?
Kitt replied to Former Member's topic in The Lounge
My case us a little different. I used to leave comments religiously, even if it was merely a 👍 I was driven off of commenting when an author reacted very poorly to what i thought an harmless observation. The plot took a completely unexpected twist, almost an about face for the character. I referred to it as an unsignalled left turn. I did not say anything i thought could be construed as dissatisfaction with the development, just that it was totally unexpected. This author went off like a firecracker with a shirt fuse. He proceeded to dress me down publically in the comments telling me he worked hard on the story and how dare i be so nasty etc. He rambled on about how mean my comment was for several paragraphs. He informed me, and the entire GA community what a horrid p rson i was. Maybe i caught him on a bad day, but his comments, made publically, hurt. I continued to read thus authors work, and to leave likes, but changed my commenting policy. I would leave emogies that fit my feelings. This author posted two or three more chapters then has left the story unfinished. He was so close to tying up the loose ends, one or two more chapters could have completed it. It has been several years now. I continued with my emogie policy till i found out the little hearts were disapearing after a while. I now comment rarely. Comments are kept to generic " nice job" and the like with the exception of a few authors I know and can trust that if a comment is taken poorly it will be discussed in private. I refuse to leave myself open to the nasty pm's i got from other readers after that author went nuts over my left turn comment. -
Swallowing an orange gets him a mate???

Actually the cattlemen out west do consider them a pest as they take up valuble grazing land. Now that fewer horses are needed for herding and there are regulations about catching wild ones, things tend to get out of control.

Good! I don't want to see it!

Nice that you dropped in. We are a tad odd around here but all good people. Welcome!

Sleep well

Quiet, which is good. When things get exciting, it usually means something is wrong!

Weather is nuts! -5 on Monday, 25 yesterday, going into the high 40's (thats *F) with rain today, then late Thursday supposed to drop like a rock again. Someone go check on Natty please? I think she is off her meds again!

Don't suppose it occurred to the "adults" to ask Fran what was happening? Sometimes children see more clearly than their elders, who have had perceptions clouded by life.

If you were inclined to be nice and feed the squirrels, this would be the time they need it most.

Umm, perhaps i am old and what the techies of the family call functionally computer illiterate, but even i know default settings are the fall back for when specific commands are missing.

Caio bellas. 50* drop in temps in less than 12 hours here. Currently 5*f (-15*c). Went from tee shirts to twelve shirts. Well maybe not that many but lots of layers.

Morning all. Holy Hot Tomatoes! They got the temp drop part of our forecast right. Woke to 50*f (10*c) yesterday. Today its 5*f (-15*c). We have cancelled all lessons today. Just too damn cold for the therapy clients and little ones! Still need to go in and set feeds and the like, but then its home to a hot shower and my quilt! I really wish the weather would pick a season and stay there!

They seem to have gotten the temp drop right. 48 this afternoon, 18 now.
