Made an administrative decision to keep all horses in today. Now the lady who runs the lessin program is mad at me. She wanted them in anyway but says i should have left it to her. Really? They would have been left out overnight if i had not said to bring them in!

I have exactly the opposite problem buying dress trousers. All fat women are supposed to be short I guess. Get them to fit properly at the waist and they stop 2 inches above the ankle.

I think the worst part of going to work on a day like this is that when I get home I take a hot shower, wrap up in a snuggly blanket and promptly fall asleep. Bad enough the daylight is short, I end up sleeping a lot of the time away!

Mine was very similar, but cream if wheat based instead of oatmeal.

I am glad all the horses planned for today are snugglers! I think they just want us to warm the air before they inhale, but other than getting covered with horse hair it lets us warm up against them too! I am sooooo hoping to get a call cancelling before I have to leave the house.

I may have over stepped my athority, but I told them to bring the schoolies in too. Barbara, the head of our lesson program, should do that but she is a ditz and hates having to clean stalls, so keeps them out as much as she can. Something about sweaters belonging to loved ones give it a mental warm too! My house hoodie is technically warmer than hubbies, but ...

Dont know about speaker of the house, but as maker of the house I would just reopen and or make a new one.

I have Rx opioids but rarely touch them and stick to nsaids if I can. We all went through training back when Gram got addicted, and one of the big points they harped on was not to rely on any sort of pills if you can aviod it as they can loose effectiveness if taken too frequently, requiring stronger stuff to achieve the same results, and makes abuse of the physically addictive stuff more likely.

I just wish the storm would go ahead and get started here. I feel it coming in my knees and a bit in my lower back. I know once the front passes weather will go to hell in a handbasket, but my joints will stop hurting. I will take the trade. Trying to hold out on the pain pills because I have a history of addiction to the things in my family and I am determined not to go there. Of course, when gram was diagnossed as end stage many years back, I though it was horrid that my uncle would not let them prescribe pain pills for her because she had a personal history of addiction. I believe my exact words to him were "Who the fuck cares if she gets addicted again at this stage - let her be comfortable. Not like she will live long enough to need rehab!" The doc thought I was a bit brash, but the peeps in the waiting room that heard every word I said stood up and applauded.

Isn't that how muses work? All of a sudden you have to write, or paint, or compose etc?
