Does anyone else want to strangle a doc at the end of a regular ( nothing is wrong we just want to keep tabs) apointment? "Your A1c is down, great. Let's back off a level on your injectable and see if we can maintain it and reduce the gastrointestinal issues. Your cholesterol is perfect! No changes in your meds. You have lost 15 pounds since last visit. GREAT! YOU SHOULD CONCIDER BARRIATRIC SURGERY! Umm, excuse me? 15 down isn't good enough?? This is the smallest I have been at any time since my kid was born 33 years ago, including during chemotherapy! No surgery. Fix the belly issues first then if I stop losing MAYBE we will talk.

Here is a smile for you. Usually our horse comes to the stall when called like an overgrown puppy. He enjoys work. For the last few weeks Wings has called him in hollering "walkies". Just called his name if she did not intend on working, but wanted a quick brushing and a general health check. Today was supposed to be a groom and check day as Wings had a migraine working. Well dingy would not come till she called "walkies". Then she felt she had to work, as if she didn't she thought he would stop coming in when called. So the horse blackmailed the kid into working! Turned out for the best as the headache subsided between the fresh air, exercise, and the general lift spending time with your horse provides.

Glad you feel better. As a variation, the pretzel m&m's can be added or substituted.

Let me know when you become a "that nazi". Sasha Distan called me one after the 2nd chapter I edited. Of 73 "thats" in the original draft I left 3.

What did that old song say? "Gotta be cruel to be kind in the right measure" If he is lucky. Some fates are worse than death. Sure she could. It's a 600 yr old castle rife with hidden passages and spy holes!

Hey! How did I end up top of the page?

Is any first time parent ever truly ready? Parenting is definitely a learn as you go job, one some are better suited to than others. Not sure why, but my gut says Willa. Did you not read how all this mess started? How and why Reilly's wolf dove so deep it took Sebastian, his fated mate, to bring the creature back? That's the sort of torture Huntington deserves. ( yes, I can be vicious at times) Nope.

Ahh, but he now IS part of Giles' pack and does need to follow HIS instructions.

So if an adoption happens, it's big family or nothing. No starting small and expanding later.

Hmm, reconnaissance in Russia... what can go wrong? She said with a grinch-like smirk.

Regardless if you celebrate Thanksgiving or not, may your lives be healthy and happy, your pantry stocked and your hearts full.

I have gone thru bouts of insomnia wicked enough for my doc to prescribe a sleep aid. Took one dose. Worked great, I went out like a light. Then it seems I went out shopping for a snack. Woke the next morning to my truck parked in a different spot, scraps and wrappers of food i did not have in the house on the counter, and dressed haphazardly. Never took a second dose!

Supper @ 4. Have they opened the boarder crossings yet?

Pies are baked, cobbler is done, rice kreme ( Norwegian recipe rice pudding) is done, neeps are peeled and boiled into submission. Stuffing is made and ready to shove into the bird in the am. That's about all I can do in advance.

May be for the best. Don't do like I did and try to jump back to normal activity on day 3 at home!

Mine either just leaves out the swear words or puts f*** etc in.

You know a better profession to gain access to human blood without trolling the streets late at night? If the program is anything like the digital assistant on my phone, we would find it extremely difficult to follow the story! Bixby ( I did not name her!) makes some whopper mistakes when trying to send a voice to text message!

Of course something significant will happen besides healing pups. No point in sending them, with Corbin no less, if an uneventful healing trip is all that occurs!

I am thinking fixing things with Vann should come before adopting an orphan pup. But then, who knows what lurks in the deep recesses of @kbois mind? The pup may just turn out to be Vann's mate!

The new diabetes med they have me on makes eating unattractive. I keep nutrition drinks in the fridge to supplement. I found the nutrition levels comparable, but getting it in is more important than having the best nutrition. I like the boost glucose control better than most. It does not help if you simply hate the taste!

Dinner part 2 will certainly be interesting. We should get input from Miranda about her relations with Old Man Buck. I am sure we will get a melt down about Curtis now having not one but TWO siblings with claims to what is left of the Buck money outside Travis' trust. Input from the lawyer may be very interesting. Since "Don't ask don't tell" was in full swing while Jake was in the service, I wonder how that may influence any retaliation against Curtis for outing him. I am sure the lawyer can shed some light on that as well. Then there is the whole issue of the guys who were supposedly helping Travis actually working for Curtis. I think dinner might actually need a part 3!

I see several people saying Jake supposedly raped Miranda. Aside from the fact it was the other way around, (remember, being Jake was under age SHE was the "responsible" party,) the term actually used was seduced. Adult seduces under age party = rape. Under age seduces adult = just damn poor judgement. Several books ago I attempted to lay out a family tree for the Crampton-Schulter clan. I gave up when it started to look more like a blackberry bramble bush, thorns and all! A key point here is something most have seemed to over look. JAKE PIKE IS A BUCK!

When the lab I worked in closed operations in my state and moved to Massachusetts I was given the option of relocating, but hubby's job was such that we could afford for me to stay home with Wings, then 8 years old. Plan was to collect unemployment, banking the money while I adjusted the budget to fit the lower income, giving me a cushions if I screwed up. Problem was I did not plan for being occupied while she was at school. I quickly caught up on all the little things that slide when you are a parent AND working full time, then started going bananas about 5 months into "stay at home mom". Find things you want to do NOW before you hit that point. Make a to try or to do list! Have plans! I am much happier home, ( two additional careers and retirements later) but enjoy alone at home time more when I have a needlework project, book, or cooking project waiting on me. Edit to add: Of course you all know I now run the horse trailer business, so that does fill a lot of time.
