My mom continued to get Easter goodies for us right up to the year she passed. I was 46 at the time. Towards the end it was a couple creme eggs in a tiny basket.

Container gardening. Keeps mint contained...mostly.

So do I but one egg a year ...

Are the mini's just chocolate or are they creme filled? I get 1 creme egg a year since I was diagnosed with type ll. But somehow I always end up wearing the filling.

Can make flour from lots of things. Have made my own potato flour. Read the other day about zucchini flour being used to reduce white flour use in recipes. Rice flour makes nice noodles. Possibilities are endless when your kitchen has both a dehydrator and a food processor.

Until yesterday morning I would have considered the shorter route on major highways a safer route than back roads that may not be as well maintained, may be too narrow to safely drive a horse trailer, and I am unfamiliar with.

I quite agree, the fact that all sections of the bridge came down so quickly raises alarm bells in my head, especially since I travel that route every time I take older horses to retirement in Virginia. My sensibilities tell me at least SOME of the bridge should have remained standing, even if unfit for travel. I may just take the long way thru Pa and WV from now on! Much smaller bridge spans!

The nice thing about running my own business is the ability to say I am taking today off just because... Today it's because I had a rather vehement discussion with a 4 year old Clydesdale mare yesterday. She went on her first off farm excursion since we brought her to her new home. Loaded great in the morning. She apparently decided she had so much fun on the trails at the wildlife management area she didn't want to go home. Well, when she realized it had gotten past dinner time she practically dragged her owner onto the trailer!

If everything "tastes like chicken" why ear em? Just eat chicken.

And I bet 9 times outta 10 you hadn't even thought about tea. My dad did the same thing but it was hot chocolate.

Warning, rant ahead!!! Just got a text from my pharmacy saying they are contacting my doc for an alternative medication. If you have questions call and left a number. I call the number, have 5 minutes of press 1 for this 2 for that, you must sign up for the online app, ok now you can finally talk to a human. Why do I need an alternative medication. I spoke to a pharmacy staff member three weeks ago, again 2 weeks ago, and a 3rd time last week, all in person, reminding them I was opening my last injectable pen on 3/1 and to make sure the refill is in stock. Each time they assured me they would have it. Now I am down to a 5 day supply and you tell me it's on back order till late April. Nothing we can do. We processed your refill this am and it is on back order. We checked, same at all the chain locations in this area. Ummm, why the fuck do you think I started pestering you THREE WEEKS AGO? Called the other chain in our area, and both mom and pop pharmacies, no one has it in stock. Called the quacks office. Another round of push 1 for this 2 for that, then get a diatribe about how it is MY responsibility to find the med and have the new pharmacy name and number ready befor speaking to a human. Bad enough I put up with the gastro upset these meds cause, do they have to give me ogida just getting the shit? This is the third time they changed my med cause it's impossible to obtain.

Ok, I feel like I missed something here. Didn't you just start a new job fronting for a campground or something similar? And now you need to hire front desk help? I think I may qualify. 18 yrs in the qc lab give me excellent record keeping, the daycare taught me to deal with children and childish parents, and running the barn for over 10 yrs taught me to juggle.

How about running for the PD/Prosecutors office? One would think obtaining a judges signature on a warrent then getting it into the hands of law enforcement quickly would be an asset.

I am sure there is a lot here we are not aware of, but nothing excuses intentionally hurting a gentle soul like tim. If he spoke up, what ever was happening must have been beyond reasonable. Love and support to you both.

For the time being. Methinks Amelia has plans for Calvert that will mesh nicely with the idea of him taking a wife ( beard?), but I am not too sure poor Francis is on board with these ideas!

Since you are the author, your vote is the only one counts! Interesting twist. The story has been quite enjoyable to this point. A dip onto the supernatural was a tad unexpected but intriguing. Looking forward to more.
