    Supermoon

I don't think so - the moon has a wicked effect on tides and currents, even in lakes and rivers.
  2. I love the make-up scene in the cooler. Dathi does have a point tho. What happened to suddenly get Issac to give Bay a chance? And there are still so many holes in Issac's past! " I just.......lost my temper." Ya think? There has to be some history somewhere for Issac to have lost it so bad as to walk out claiming to never want to see Bay again. I can see it keying an huge argument, but that sort of reaction is out of proportion. Wonderful love! I enjoyed every word!

    Chapter 2

I sort of liked the homespun words. Sometimes Websters collegiate just doesn't have a word to fit. The bad first - you DO need an editor. While the little mistakes in no way detract from your story, being gramatically correct would go a long way if you ever look to publish your work in a real life paper book. And as Conner said, a bit more detail in the rescue battle is in order. Now the good - it was a sweet love story, ( my favorites ) with enough action to catch even the most die hard sci-fi fan reading. Even my husband would read this one ( skipping the love scenes. He isn't quite as open minded as I ) Looking forward to this one moving back to the front burner again.
  4. No Tag, Red Rover, British Bulldogs, no dodge ball, no kick the can,( the flying can might hit someone) baseball and stick ball on the playground are out too at some schools ( they are afraid of misuse of the sticks and bats) and then they wonder why kids are overweight. For goodness sake, lets NOT LET them actually run around and maybe burn off some of those calories!

    Only Me

Blame it on that Murphy fella. The one that says what can go wrong will. Welcome to la vida loca .
  6. Does look a bit........medieval torture chamber-ish doesn't it?

    Chapter 2

Like I said elsewhere, I'm a sucker for a good romance! Even more so when it's a true ( or close to it ) story. May you and yours be happy till the end of time.
  8. That looks like something served after dinner on Halloween.
  9. . Why can people not see each other for who they are? Where do they get off expecting others to conform to their preconceptions??? Being gay doesn't automatically give you the "shopping gene". I know that's the whole point of the story, but I just have a hard time conceiving the bullheaded idiocy that still exists. Guess my momma did a good job in raising me to see people for who they are- not how well they fit into a predetermined nitch. I say we turn Zupan loose to explain to Zach just how much of a shit he was to out Bay that way. All in favor????

    Chapter 2

OK, now you have me hooked.
  11. Bay really does have a bit of a self destructive streak doesn't he? And while Joann is right Zach had a right to question him, he doesn't have a right to out him. He had the right of that - it's a shitty thing to do. That much worse to know it and plan to do it anyway.

    Chapter 2

I'm a sucker for a good love story, especially if it has a happily ever after. Loved it, and phhhhhht on the grammar issues.
  13. SOME chlorine?
  14. I know this comes about 6 months late, but i just found the blogs etc recently and cant resist putting my 2 bits in! The bottom line is....they are your stories. The best written ones are the ones you write for yourself ( and that sneaky muse of yours). We get the pleasure of enjoying them if and when you choose to share them with us. So, that being said I guess Finn's fate falls back squarely on your plate. As much as I am a sucker for the Happily Ever After, a bit of angst in life makes that so much sweeter.

    Checking In

I hope you find the sort of connection with this paint that can change horse time from fun to truly pleasurable. If not - you will still enjoy the time your friend is away and keep looking - the right horse will find you eventually! The sort of connections you write about really DO happen, and when they do they are magic!
  16. Actually some of those outfits wouldn't be bad,,,,,,if you happen to be female, have the boobs to fill em out, and the right foundation garments. On hunky guys they just look...... wrong.
  17. I'm more like the "hit, kick, scratch, bite, what ever it takes and forget asking why" sort.
  18. ummm - the words "I am that gay"?

    Chapter 5

Awww - we didnt get to see what happens the first time they are in bed together on even footing! I enjoyed the story. I am not really too big on demons and the underworld but this one was done from an angle i haven't seen before.
  20. I have the worlds easiest fruit cobbler recipe. Works from fresh fruit or you can use canned fruit. If you use prepared fruit the whole thing takes maybe 10 min to get into the oven!
  21. Very well said young man!
  22. I'm still trying to figure out why iSimba thinks the Jersey Shore is a strange US custom
  23. Gotta give 10 yr old boys credit for upfront and honest!
  24. Ok - who was that and what did you do with Zupan? I think I said that once before didn't I? Pretty damn insightful and caring for an ass. I am sure its more for Issac than Bay, but I can see these two ending up friends eventually. Something else Bay needs - a friend that doesn't change his opinion because of a lable like "gay" or "top" or bottom" gets slapped on someone. As much as I disliked Zu in previous chapters, while I am not quite ready to fall in love with him like the others just yet, I think I am getting a feel for just how loyal a friend he is. That is something you have to respect, regardless of if you like him or not. You keep throwing us curve balls like this and I am going to sign you up for pitching tryouts next spring. Wanna be a Yankee or a Met? Nah - you strike me more like a Phillies Fanatic!
  25. Like a lot of parents out there I read the Twilight series because at the time my young teen was reading it and i had this thing about keeping up with the "in" thing in her crowd. I hated not understanding what everyone was babbling about. I read the Harry Potter series for the same reasons. What a lot of you seem to be overlooking is that while they may not have been the best written books on the market, they DID get kids to READ. That's a pretty good feat in the world of cliffnotes and video games. I know kids more into mmrpg's than they are into their own lives. The references into the Shakespeare plays got my then teen to actually pick up my copy and read "Romeo and Juliette" when I told her I had a copy instead of just telling her the basics of the story. If something gets a teenager to read and like Shakespeare, it's ok in my book!
