Morning, everyone! So, update time. I heard back from my doctor last week, and she said all my blood tests came back clean. However, she told me she had just spoken to a patient who had almost the same symptoms as me and also takes the same mood stabilisers that I do. So we've lowered my dose from 400mg to 300mg, cause as it turns out, this whole thing started just around the time I went up to 400. So now we wait, I guess. I've been feeling a little better, but don't want to get my hopes up too soon. I really can't afford to have to quit these meds, they're the first and so far only thing that's worked the way it's supposed to, except for this one stupid side effect. I really don't have to want to choose between my body and my brain. Have a good day, everyone!

I identify more with Stanley in this chapter than I'd care to admit... So happy to see Kent taking charge and showing him how deeply he's loved. Tad is such a wonderful person, looking after both his guys even when he's the one hurting... Such a special guy.

Markus's internalised homophobia makes me so sad. And that idea that men can't love each other the way that men and women can is just so awful and harmful. Poor Markus. Poor Thomas, too.

Hi everyone! Today was the Oslo Pride parade. I marched under the trans banner for the first time. I was super nervous this morning, for some reason. I still get hardcore impostor syndrome, it seems... Never quite sure that I'm trans enough to be there. But when I got there, it was great. Ran into a friend first thing who, when I told them what I'd been thinking and feeling, just laughed and told me (good-naturedly) that I'm an idiot, cause I've been trans the whole time they've known me, even if I was too scared to claim the label, and they've never seen me as anything else. They weren't wrong, lol! Anyway, I had a good time and afterwards I went on Facebook and changed my name and pronouns. Felt good. Liberating. Hope you're all enjoying your Saturday! ❤️

Been raining here, too, though it seems to have stopped now. I was just forced to delete an old acquaintance on Facebook. No huge loss, she's kind of a crazy conspiracy theorist. I usually just smile and nod, but today she decided to start in on 'queers sexualising children and too many genders' and I just snapped. Told her to either back off or fuck off. She chose the latter. In other news, teching the Queer Youth birthday party this evening (the organisation turns 15 this year), so that will be fun. I feel woefully unprepared as I haven't done a live show in over a year, but it should go okay. Should still be fun. Heading out now, so I'll be gone most of the day. Have a great day, everyone!

Hey, everybody. Been a busy day so far. Stopped by Pride House to have a look at the sound situation as I'm volunteering there tomorrow for a party with some live music. Lots to do. Then I went to Pride Park and had a look around the stands, and ran into a friend. So we had a beer by the Bear stage as they always have fun music. We sat right next to the leather pride stand. It was fun. Now I'm at home waiting for dinner. Paul's making soup. Hope you're all having a good day! ❤️

A girl in my D&D group plays a male character, and she gets really annoyed when people misgender her character (which, admittedly, happens all the time). But guess who just spent the entire evening misgendering not just my character, but me as well? I get that it takes time to get used to stuff, but... Would be nice if she at least realised she was doing it. Had a nice evening all the same, though. Hope you're all having/have all had a good day! I'm headed to bed. Goodnight, DiC!
