    Morning

Thanks, Jeffrey. I always appreciate your comments. Yeah, I think some experiences are universal, even if they affect us to differing degrees and we react differently to them.
  2. Thanks. Whatever else happens, at least I'll get an idea of what I'm actually capable of, what I can and can't do, and then find out how to move forward from there.

    Morning

I wake up too early. Actually, I’ve overslept, but it feels too early. I have to leave for my appointment in less than an hour. I drag myself out of bed and into the shower. The hot water feels nice, wakes me up. When I get out of the shower I feel sick, though. I often feel sick when I’m anxious. I take an antiemetic with my meds, then go to brush my teeth, but it doesn’t have time to take effect. The pills taste bitter going down. Even worse coming up. I shiver over the toilet bowl for a few m

I love the scene with Nate helping Chris with his beard... it’s so sweet and intimate and mirrors their friendship in many ways, I think. Kent and Stanley persist in being adorable. ❤️
  6. How wonderful that you’re participating! You’re right. It matters. Morning, DiC! I’ve been to a job centre thingy... come autumn they’re gonna put me to work to find out how much I may be able to work in future. I was so anxious about it on my way there, I felt really sick. But it turned out okay. They’re gonna try and find me an internship or something somewhere sound related, or maybe something to do with writing if they can. So here’s hoping. I’ll be going back in August to see what’s what and get me started. So here’s hoping they can help me get my shit together, lol! Have a great day, all!
  7. Hehe, we get along well, tbh. I was seeing her and Paul at the same time (everyone involved knew about and was okay with everything, it was a polyamory thing). It ended mostly because we both struggle with stuff that made it difficult to be there for each other the way we both wanted to. We care about each other a lot and are good friends. We talked, made out a bit, it was nice. Though it would probably have been better for me if I'd gone home and not had so much gin, lol! Going to sleep now, I have to get up early tomorrow for a thing. Goodnight, DiC!
  8. Hey, everybody. Hope you're all well. It got late for me last night... Or, actually, I was in bed a bit earlier than normal, but I stayed over with my ex cause it was bucketing down and I lacked an umbrella, and there was a bit more gin involved than I had planned. Just getting over my hangover now. It wasn't too bad, lol Have a good day, everyone!
  9. Ugh, really wish I could say I was surprised, but... It's basically to be expected at this point. I went to a Catholic school. There are a lot of kind, compassionate Catholics who don't ascribe to any of those beliefs, though we did have teachers with certain tendencies to the opposite... Thankfully, due to Norwegian laws regarding the education system, private schools also have to follow the national curriculum. We had fairly comprehensive sexual education. Haha, they'll all be terribly surprised. I don't really believe in reincarnation or heaven or hell, or any other specific life after death. I'm pretty agnostic about it. I don't know, and I don't really care either. Just care about living my life to the best of my ability here and now, make the most of it and try to do good.
  10. A thousand congratulations to you, tim! So very well deserved! ❤️
  11. OMG, about fucking time! Congratulations, tim! It’s well deserved, my friend. Hope you’re okay, @Brayon. See you when you get back! I’m off to grill in the park with Paul and my ex-girlfriend. Hope everyone’s having a good day!

    Story

I’m glad you enjoyed my boys and their story. I wanted to give them an ending where they could be happy together. Thank you so much for reading and commenting! I really appreciate it.

    Story

I’m glad you enjoyed it! I loved writing about them. It’s nice to write something entirely devoid of angst once in a while. Thanks for reading and commenting!

    Sauna Summer

    I agree 100%. It's deeply upsetting.

Thanks for giving it another read! ❤️
  16. As opposed to @droughtquake, I adore this. I love traditional styles of singing like this. They're such fascinating techniques, and there's something raw and unrefined in it that speaks to me. Primal, you know? Gorgeous. But maybe all that is just the singer and musician in me talking.
  17. Morning, everyone! It’s a public holiday here (cause for some reason the Norwegian calendar observes the second day of Pentecost?), not that that makes much of a difference in my case, but Paul’s off work. This afternoon we’re going to go have a look at some kittens! My mum’s neighbour’s cat had some recently and my poor little Tesla is so lonely since her sister passed away. Hope you all have a good Monday!

    Story

It really is. I love summer nights in the north. My hometown in Finland had its first Pride parade a couple of years back. I based this one a lot on that. They had the clotheslines with the rainbow coloured clothes and stuff. If anyone from that town reads this they'll probably recognise it, lol! Thanks for reading and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

    Story

Haha, I'm honoured! Thanks for reading my story. I assure you, Adam has every intention of learning Finnish and is working on it already. After all, he's taught himself to say I love you, that's a good start. I'm really glad you enjoyed it! ❤️
  20. I think the horseman is meant to be Ghengis Khan.
  21. Hope it won’t be too bad. Stay safe!

I love the budding friendship between Nate and Christopher. They have such an interesting dynamic. It’s cool how Nate shows this vulnerability to this virtual stranger. Though sometimes that’ easier than showing it to a friend.
