Still Great!! You're very creative. I never saw the situation with awesome Carol coming. That was a great surprise. I'm disappointed in Matt! Being Zune's father he has a lot of crow to eat yet never even acknowledges him. I'm pretty pissed at Matt now and he can go to hell. Love awesome Carol!!

You really have my attention now. This story has turned into something so much better than I expected. You have quite the talent and imagination to take this story in this direction. Our hero is now in a situation that thank goodness I cannot relate to with any personal experience and that is making the story very fresh for me. You really got me involved in the story now and I am now totally hooked. Among the characters in this chapter, I am most bewildered how it must feel to be Nine. His conflict is very real. It would be interesting to get to know him a bit better. Anyway, GREAT JOB!!!

OK, this is getting interesting.

The situation with Kev & Stephen happened a few years ago. Carol speaks of who Kev was a few years ago, but doesn't say anything about who he is now. Yes, that was a very sleazy thing to do and if Kev is still that same person than Zune needs to get the hello out of there as fast as he can. I didn't really understand Zune's reaction unless it is just the shock of it hitting him hard which would be understandable. He was more willing to understand that Ed could make a change since the Stephens incident, so why not Kev? I need more convincing that Kev has made less of a change than Ed has. I know it looks like it, but the way you tell your story, often things are not as they seem. I like that you keep my guessing. Was Kev really standing Zune up to play with Joey? At this point, Zune and Kevin are not in a place for anything productive to happen and need to take some time. They will never forget, but possibly be able to forgive and move on. Carol rocks.

This could have been so sweet and romantic between Zune and Ed if there had only made better choices first. Kev will probably be hurt much more now than if Zune had ended it with him before pursuing a relationship with Ed and Zune would not have to hurt now. By the way, what is going on with Kev?

WOW, I can't believe how much patience Kev has with Zune. Zune is a kid and only human. He starts out in this story with stellar qualities and is now practicing deception and dishonesty with his mother, his boyfriend, and his friends. He is not using any caution has he pursues a friendship (which has to be kept a dirty little secret) with an individual that he knows to be both verbally and physically abusive, willing to steal a kiss from someone that is in another relationship (cheaters), in denial and confused. There are plenty of warning signs here and obviously Zune is not oblivious to them yet continues to forge ahead in his deception. Edward's mother sent Edward to Zunes house knowing of Edward's abusive tendencies. Her concern for Zune's safety in non-existent as she has no way of knowing her son will not become volatile in this meeting. If Zune is going to pursue this, can he at least find the balls to admit that he is just a little lying weasel to Kev's face? And now the issue with Matt. Zune's wacky mom may still be in love with him, but Zune does not know the man and has never had any type of relationship whatsoever with him. No one can possibly expect Zune to instantly drop his resentment and embrace a complete stranger. If Zune feels so inclined, he should take his turn and let out some of that anger.

This chapter had more impact on me than any other so far. I am by no means in the same age group as the parents, and I still remember quite well when I was 16, but I have to say that I am in the same boat with the parents for I am every bit as unable to understand the boys actions as they are. We all do things against our parents and most of us have lied to our parents, but to be so weak as to be lured into doing something that would surely hurt the parents this badly for selfish reasons causes me to think that it must have something to do with addiction. Matt's parents love him and he knows that. He has always had a close relationship with them and had always respected them enough to be honest with them. The parents did not change this relationship; Matt began to change it when he made no effort in practicing the basic human skill of controlling his sexual urges. Though he always seems to understand that his actions are not productive to many relationships that are important to him he continues to act out as though he has not learned anything. These boys are a mess a quite possibly needing help far beyond the skills that any of these parents have. I hope the parents wake up and realize the moral and legal implications of trying to keep the promise they made to the boys. They also need to realize that one of these boys is probably incapable of doing what he knows would be the right thing to do each time he wants sex, and the other is probably incapable of even realizing what the right thing to do is. I hope that the parents can step up to the plate this time and do whatever it takes.

I really like Gust's story and for that reason alone I'd like to continue, but the whole thing with Luke and Mr. Mayer makes me uncomfortable. It just seems creepy under the circumstances. For that reason, I'm going to bow out now, but I do wish you good luck.

WOW. We definitely get hints that Luke is not a stable guy based on some of his behaviors and actions, but I never saw anything like this coming. It's a darn good thing that Mr. Mayer did not start the inappropriate relationship with his student for many reasons. All though both of these guys could use a good therapist and some professional counseling, Mr. Mayer did dodge the proverbial bullet by not getting mixed up someone as crazy odd as Luke. Wheww!!

I like your character Gust Rivera. He seems very interesting. This whole thing between Luke and Mr. Mayer is not only REALLY inappropriate, but also illegal. That make me uncomfortable and it would have been nice if there were a warning for that. I am however, really enjoying the story about Gust.

I'm not an expert, but Russell's actions and especially (over)reactions seem kind of way out there and bizarre to me. Jacob's suggestion of seeing a doctor sure seems like a good idea to me. It seems to me this boy has either some medical and/or mental issues he needs to face and the sooner the better. At one point he is so worried about what others think that he is clinging like a very small child to Jacob and even faints and the very next day tells Jacob that he doesn't give a fuck what anyone else thinks. He's just all over the map. I hope it wasn't a mistake for Jacob to drop this.

I have really enjoyed this story so far, but am by no means a critic. You are doing a fantastic job. Katherine's wisdom holds an important message that many of us could learn from. The "healthy independence" she speaks of is so very true. I've never had the urge to slap my lover to where it almost hurts, nor have I ever wished that my lover would slap me till it almost hurts, but hey, that's just me. So, I can't really relate to these feelings of Russell's. For me personally, love needs to have respect and equality in the relationship, not anything to do with aggression, dominance, or pain. Maybe Russell still has a lot of growing to do and some confidence building in order to have a loving relationship that he can participate as an equal in? Would Jacob even know how to take as well as he can give? If Russel likes to be dominated, than his father probably has really done a number on him that he still needs to heal from. If Russell finds a way to work through his issues and grow enough to desire to be in a relationship as an equal, would Jacob ever be able to accept that? I do not wish to come across as being negative and I totally believe in the adage "To each his own", but the dom/sub thing really is not my scene. Is that the direction this is going?

I really like this. I'm a big romantic. Just one suggestion: where you wrote: “I play, but I’m the best player on any of my teams, so I didn’t think anyone knew who I was.” I think you intended to say "I'm not the best ....." Great Story.

This has to be the best vacation every that these little guys will ever have in their lives.

It was very sweet. I enjoyed it, though I don't think I've every known anyone remotely like our red haired hero. I would like to, but not so sure he exists anywhere. I've know a couple of Gregs though. Great uplifting story.

Dame shouldn't be too hard on himself for the way he first treated Dallas. After all, Dallas did call him the "F" word at their first meeting. That alone more than justifies Dame's earlier treatment of him. These two guys falling for each other is very special. These two together is so bizarre that I can't wait to see where it goes and how it gets there.

Damn this kid has a thick skull. You would think he would have learned this lesson before. I hope it finally takes.

WOW!! These guys are so different I would have been surprised if they were able to tolerate each other enough to become friends. Even each guy's sense of humor seems foreign to the other. So far all we know is that they are each interested in the physical appearance of the other. I think this is really getting interesting. I can't imagine these two together, but I am sure anxious to see how they work through their differences. I'm on board for this. Thanks.

I had a feeling that Kevin would one day "cheat" since he first asked Cam for permission to cheat with the little boy. I really like Cam a lot and think both boys are actually good people, but I'm afraid that the longer Cam stays with Kevin the more pain Kevin's wandering libido disguised as "concern" and "protectiveness" of his brothers is going to cause Cam. We can see in this chapter that Cam is starting walk away from his own set of values due to Kevin's influence. I wish Cam did not have to make that sacrifice for Kevin.

I was reading the reviews and see where some readers have hope for a relationship with David and Jordan; I somehow got the impression that Jordan was straight?? in chapter 24 when he made the comment about how hot he thought Taylor Swift was.

I have really been enjoying this. It doesn't seem to me like it really ended. Is this the end of the story?
