As much as I understand George's ire, I hope that he and Caroline can resolve the divide between them. I don't know why she did what she did but I know she had to have had a reason. Great chapter, great story, great series...so much greatness.

The greatness in this story is that George starts on a high and unlike the other books in the tale he ends on a relative low, no great promotion, just resolution to the crap he was splattered with upon his return home. This is truly an excellent series and anyone who hasn't read it is big time missing out! Thanks Mark Arbour and team.

This is possibly the most disturbing chapter in the whole series. It's not a bad thing but I admit that I dreaded reading it again because it is such a dreadful situation for George.

Brad and Cam...I can see a there there. They both deserve a romantic break, so I look forward to more than just beer and pizza. Everyone deserves a good birthday, and since Will has been shafted the last couple years with angst and then tragedy I'm glad to read that he about to hit the jackpot! My gratitude for this chapter oddly does not curb my avarice for more...please and thank you.

While I am fond of Chartley, I think he is too serious for George. I'm glad he's there for him now, but will be glad when he resolves his issues with Cavendish. What's up with George being the object of desire with all his brother's friends?
