Sorry, but if the Young Vamps that attacked Chris and the Humans that raped Chris were "mind-controlled" by (probably) the 3x renegade Vampires, I don't think they should be punished as they are. I think it is a really good sign that Chris is questioning himself, etc. And whilst not exactly chatty, he has spoken to people. I think the barrier Victor encountered has more to do with keeping Chris' from his True Self/memories, etc until the time is right. So it has been there for a long time. I am surprised that Chris' possible Elven heritage hasn't occurred as a possibility to Victor. Although I suppose considering The Vanishing, how long ago it occurred, etc doesn't help. But he has had 4 clues tho. Where is his Sire? I am banking on them providing some guidance in the right direction.

As soon as I saw the title of this Chapter I thought, "Uh Oh!" This is really not gonna be good. I know I said that in my last comment but I meant that one more in regards to the Loved Ones reactions. The fact that this whole set of Chapters is called Broken Soul means it could possibly get worse before it gets better and that it will, as you'd expect, be a journey. The thing that surprised me was that it was the Police that found Chris. I know the Vamps gave them the direction, but with the resources Chris must have available to him? Plus the Police, having had someone abducted before, did not think of the possibility of a connection between that and Chris going missing, etc? So, who is gonna bring him back? I know the obvious choice is Victor, but... How long has it been since Victor spoke with his Sire about Chris's pendant. Will Victor's Sire pay them a visit?

I thought Chris's powers would be ignited (not the right word, but) because of the situation he was in. I think it would be the being so totally helpless that would get me. The poor kid!!! Can't wait too see what happens next. I hope all of their other victims (unless they killed them?) make themselves known. Hell, if Victor wanted True Death (or whatever its called) for the Vamps that 'just' attacked Chris, this is going to really set him off. And Chris's poor Dad. OMG. His reaction... I almost forgot Leo. Damn. This is gonna be bad...

Oooooo...this getting exciting. My Elven Prince might be for real. Vincent wouldn't know about the dreams because he hasn't tried to read Chris' mind, since that very first time in the Diner. I hope this is something from his Mother's line and it doesn't come to pass that his Dad is not his Dad cause his Dad's awesome.

I spoiled myself by starting this story by devouring 20 chapters in one go. Its like having been able to eat anything I wanted to now being on a strict diet. At least the food I am allowed to eat is great!

Firstly, my apologies. This is the first time I've commented on this story. I am in New Zealand. I woke up really early and, as it is a Sunday, decided to have a look on this site. None of the stories I currently read had new chapters, so thought I'd take a gander at this one. I didn't really expect anything so never looked to see how many chapters were up, etc. It got to the point where I would give a little cheer every time I saw that there was a new chapter. I would hold my breath each time I moved on to the next chapter until I saw if the chapter after that was available. I haven't read any of the comments either so some of the things I may bring up may have been done before. It is the story that I predominantly love. I just love it. It has possibilities too. The three Vampire dissenters could have found the Demons and are working with them so the 'threat' could be way more than expected, Chris could be an Elven Prince which would explain alot, Leo needs to fall in love too and it could be with a Supernatural, the same with Chris' Dad cause everyone needs love, whatever Chris is it will be awesome to see what his 'powers' are, August was way hot so I hope he gets mentioned way more, I hope Chris doesn't have to get to the top floor of the atrium before all is revealed cause he is only on the 12th and there are 30 floors, then again that means the story would be way longer which would be way cool, whatever Chris is it will be awesome to see the reaction from the different Supernatural Governing Bodies, etc. This story is just so cool and I love it. I finished reading at 8:27am local time. It was a truly wicked way to start a beautiful sunny Sunday. Thanks!

I know this is your story to tell but can Henry please be the last? I don't know how you're going to introduce characters that are good AND have Jack be around them long enough to learn to trust them, but please try. Quickly. Enough is enough for poor Jack.

OOOooo...this is good! I love that Rush is his own Wolf and will NOT be his Father's Mouthpiece. He is doing really well considering he really doesn't want the job. I know not much has happened yet, but he has alot of promise. Loving me some Beckett! He'll be an awesome sounding board, etc for Rush. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Woah. That was cool. So Tala has met Jake The Snake (Sorry. Couldn't resist) before. Whatever Jake ends up trying at least Toby's Pack will have the backing of the Council as well. Still can't wait to see what colour Wolf Tala is and what he can do!
