  1. Turkey day will be an event. However, the next chapter inspired the signature placard for this feature. All Knees and Elbows is one of my favorite chapters. I hope you like it. I cried writing it.
  2. Lisa, I had to reflect on gay dating in this chapter. I have found just being gay and attracted doesn't equal love, much like in the ordinary world. What's more, we don't always act nobly and with wisdom and grace. Sometimes we are rude, unkind, and need to consider our actions. Roy isn't sure. Chad isn't either. Both are trying to reconcile their attraction and their friendship. Angus is lonely. Quite frankly, when I was writing this story, I wasn't sure where I would go. All I knew was heartbreak, and pain, needed to be part of the fruit of their own actions. Thanks for the lovely review Lisa!!! I'm really enjoying it.
  3. One of the criticisms of the story is it touches upon stereotypes of gay life. Peterson is one of those who I believe hasn't been given a fair airing in literature. Peterson is amazingly brave when you consider his past. I think there is a story behind the behavior of guys like Peterson and I think you'll see about Wes as well. Thanks Lisa.
  4. Wes was spoken for and then he became a surprise fan of Peterson. There was a bit of a theme in this story about how small the community actually is and yet how we tend to run into each other over and over. The past is never really escaped and at the same time...you'll see later. Thanks Lisa!
  5. Thanks to you all for reading, enjoying, and helping me remember and celebrate this story. I appreciate all your support, love, and I hope you know it means the world to me. Thanks, Cole
  6. It's so interesting reading this chapter after such a long time. I'd completely forgotten about Maddie's gambit with Kendra. I'm thrilled you enjoyed it. I LOVE Dolly's version. That's the one I heard in my head when I picture Roy being goofy. There is some history there. Yeah u will find more about it later. Thanks Lisa.

It's good you're enjoying the characters. Justin's laugh isn't all of it. His laugh symbolizes Justin as Candy sees him. Thanks Lisa!
  8. I'm so glad you're into the story. I loved using the forum to create an interpretive dance of sorts. Even more absurdity! Thanks Lisa!
  9. I'm so glad you're into the story. I loved using the forum to create an interpretive dance of sorts. Even more absurdity! Thanks Lisa!
  10. You can blame me. I'm glad the story has its hooks in you. The strong feelings you have for Peterson are interesting and you will see more of him. The characters who challenge us in life are sometimes even more important than those who help or support us. Justin is a fun guy. He's definitely an important part of Chads life. Thanks for the wonderful review! Love ya Lisa!
  11. I'm glad you could see what was going on. Chad did have a good time, perhaps a bit too much. However, learning to let your hair down can be difficult. The headache may be worth it in the end. Thanks Lisa!
  12. You get me. I'm rereading the story now too. However, I want you to know, I was laughing at myself the entire time. It's my own absurd parody of coming to an understanding. Quite frankly, it also the most autobiographical work I've done. Sofanda is a referential person.Lol!
  13. Hahaha! You are only scratching the surface. It wil get crazier and I hope more fun. Thanks Lisa! You're making my day! As usual.

Thanks Lisa! I love Roy's mom. There are several quirky characters I hope you enjoy. There are so,e who are difficult, but I hope to win you over in the end. I appreciate the kind words!
  15. Thanks Tim! I've been working on it, but it takes going slow. Harrison's story is a messy one because life is complicated and full of rich variety. We make mistakes that sometimes work out and sometimes not. Regardless, it's growing and becoming better and more full which is an important theme of the story. I appreciate the comments and the enthusiasm! Yeah!
  16. Thanks All! I love this story. Lots of people contributed. Yeah!!! I hope you enjoy it if you haven't had a chance to read it.
  17. This is awesome! I was busy all day and only saw it now! Fantastic and truly deserved, my dear, dear friend. Congratulations!
  18. Very well done, with heart, character and excellent sentiment. I love reading about forgiveness and how things change and yet, heart strings can still remain tied together. Lovely story!
  19. Thank you so much! It feels good to know the story touched you and told the complete story of Button , Craig and Grahama. I'm so pleased you enjoyed it. You made my day.

Thank you! Clif isn't in more stories at this point. What a lovely recognition of what I wanted to do.
  21. Oh my heavens! What a wonderful endorsement. Thank you for such a kind review. I'm humbled. I do love this story.

    Chapter 19

Paddy is a stitch. I love the way he uses his friendship with the brat to get the info. Of course, Ty's clueless about Paddy's real object. That was a very good way to both find out Ty's okay and to develop the characters with even more nuance. Great job storytelling and hilarious. I also like the character development of Ross. He's taking on more hue and substance in this chapter. It's not that he wasn't a likable and interesting character before. It's he has more reactions and actions. I can feel his anxiety ease as Jim talks with him. I can hear his relief when his mother said she would move and follow him to Brisbane. Really good job revealing layer after layer of him. Until I read some of the answers, I didn't have a clue who Andrew was. I'm still not entirely sure. But, I'll be back to find out that's for sure. Thanks Graeme!

    Chapter 16

I love the realness of this story. You are doing a fantastic job of telling a story the reader can feel is actually happening. Jackson is coming to terms with his infatuation and orientation in a raw and yet surprising up front way. Luke is a character I love. He's coping as well and you are treating him and his situation with respect. As a churchie growing up, I can identify with him and what he's going through. You mentioned having some writers block or having issues with continuing. I'm letting you know, from my perspective, you're hitting a homerun out of the park. Marvelous and inspiring. Keep up the good work. This is where I give you a kiss as a thank you.
  24. Happy Birthday Sammy! Have a great day.
