  1. I'm glad I could move you, but I didn't mean to scare you. Well, maybe a little. These guys are exploring themselves more which is a good thing. As more mature guys, they are a bit stuck in their ways. Still, they want to follow their hearts and find love. I think they are in their own way. I'm glad you liked the Tales in the City part. I think it's an interesting look into people figuring out what's going on and how to navigate emotions and how others react to us. I can't promise smooth sailing, but what fun would that be! Thanks for the great review Gary. I'm glad you are liking the story.
  2. Thanks Tim! This isn't a sad story but a fun one, hopefully with some heart and twists. I don't know how it will end, but I promise no one ends up unhappy in this story. Trust me, it won't.
  3. Oh, I'm sorry you thought that. I tried to make it real but ends on a hopeful note. It's never too late and live is ageless. Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad it touched you!

Kendra's pushy and opinionated, but she loves her son. He is a bit of a mess. Hope you keep reading. Lots of fun stuff coming. Don't worry! She's not a main character. Thanks Carlos.

Oh, Justin is definitely part of the story. You're not late. Glad to have you. I hope you enjoy. Thanks Carlos for the kind words!
  6. Jockey Shorts Dance Contest “Hey, Peterson! You’re not bailing on us are you? Wes will be so disappointed,” Roy chuckled into the phone. “No, I’m going. I, um, I have a problem. My car is in the shop and…” “Do you want us to pick you up?” Roy said quickly. “It’s on the way. You live in Bloomington, right?” “I do.” Roy could hear the man breathe a sigh of relief. “I’d take a cab, but they’re so expensive to take both ways downtown.” “We got you covered. Besides, I’m not driving, Ch

Cassie, I love this story so much. I'm glad Mikeal found some resolution and is at peace with it. It has given me such pleasure. Thank you for writing and sharing it with us.
  8. Well. That. Was. Amazing. Fantastic delivery of the race that made it compelling and nerve wracking. Sasha, you always make it work but ive rarely seen anything like this portrayed as well. Thanks so much for sharing. Im so impressed!
  9. Thanks Carlos! This character sketch along with chapter seven of the prompts are the beginning of my story The Art of Being Gay! I appreciate the kind words.
  10. I just saw this! Thanks Al! I do tend to place characters in difficult situations and then force themselves to learn, grow and get beyond it. Thanks for the kind words! Sorry i missed it until now. Its like a little surprise treat! Yeah!
  11. Thank you! We are fortunate both in place and time. We've been marginalized, tortured and killed in other eras and spaces. Celebrating our luck isn't a bad thing. Sharing our stories, like you have, helps us all find some understanding and peace. I appreciate your comments and kind words.
  12. Thank you Redwood! I just saw this kind review.
  13. I love creating spaces as awesome sounding as Adonis' Belt! Trent and Wes are characters from a story that died on the vine but I thought they were pretty cool characters so I used them. Peterson sure is growing and I wasn't going to use Horace as his first name, but now I think it might fit! We shall see. I'm so glad you're enjoying the story LadyDe! Thanks for the review!

    Intermezzo

Oh, what a tangled web we weave...I simply adore Michael! He's smart, insightful, caring, and a spitfire. Zach is such a smart ass, especially for someone who doesn't even exist. He's the perfect foil for the self delusional Jonah. Wonderful chapter Addy! I love what you've done with it. Yeah!!

    Chapter 12

Graeme does it again! Delivers a fantastic episode that raises questions even as we get to know more about our favorite team and their friends. Poor Dave seems on the edge of collapse. He seems to need some kind of relief or he's gonna lose it. I wonder what Neil's life jacket is? There must be something that he is good at and loves that keeps him afloat. He may be suffering from a sense of being universally targeted, but he seems to have a powerful self preservation instinct. That comes from somewhere given his alienation from his parents and everyone else until now. Ty is being noticed and how will that affect the group dynamics when they find out. Graeme obviously gives us that little tidbit to imagine all kinds of mayhem. As always, thanks for the great story. Love it!
  16. Inspiration is always a nice plus at the gym. I'm glad you are coming around to Peterson. He's not a bad guy. He's warming up, and I think Wes is certainly doing his part. Thanks Addy! I'm glad you liked the scene. It was fun to write!
  17. I'm glad the episode worked as intended. I wanted a steamy exchange at the gym with some eroticism thrown in. The rugby guys will be an interesting twist I think. We'll see if Wes can help Peterson relax, perhaps a massage of sorts! Thanks so much Tim. I'm glad you liked it!
  18. They certainly are noticing each other's, um, charms! Is that a nice euphemism for it? I couldn't resist bringing Wes back to make Peterson squirm around. We'll see how the rugby guys turn out at the bar. I have no idea yet. Their gay-ducation will continue in the meantime. I'm drinking up reviewers suggestions like Jell-O shots at a frat party so keep them coming! Thanks Gary! I'm glad you're enjoying the story. ☺️
  19. I feel terrible for Chad, dealing with apparent betrayal on two sides. Not sure how to feel about Maddie and Kendra's connection... if they're so good at bossing Roy around, why isn't he all settled and happy? Even those with the most loving and supportive team can still screw things up! I doubt Maddie and Kendra are all that influential anyway! Hahaha! I think Chad is getting to a much better place than back in Council Bluffs. We're getting there, I hope!
  20. Haha! As suggested by the title, this is a Temple of the Gods, Irri! Now, I wonder what name Wes was about to call Peterson? Thanks so much for the great review, Irri!
  21. Temple of the Gods The three men looked around the bright lobby with light streaming from a bank of windows along the bottom edge of the ceiling. The stark white of the pristine walls was offset and accentuated by the bright blue, gold and green monochromatic photos hanging on them. It was a daunting space, even more so as they waited for someone to come to the attendance desk which guarded the doors into the gleaming space beyond. Another bank of windows showed rows of exercise equipment un
  22. Very thoughtful and informed entry. I support you and all of Canada.
  23. Life happens. We are here for you, as you are for us. Bless you!
  24. Wonderful peek into the life of a writer I enjoy so much! I'm not a big fan of vampire stories, but since you wrote it, I know I'll enjoy it.
  25. We sometimes live in our heads too much. These men are inching toward a resolution. Thanks so much for the review Suvitar! I'm glad you're enjoying it!
