  1. How about Johnny Falco?

    Chapter 85

The scene at the Foundation was a nice reminder that not everything revolves around the Buck family drama. I'm glad Jake is doing well and the oceans are going to get cleaned of plastic.

    Chapter 84

If you want Mark to leave them alone, you have to stop reminding him that they're out there living their happy, drama-free lives.

    Chapter 84

He always does, Gary. The only thing you can reliably predict in this series is there will always be drama. 😉

    Chapter 84

I love the idea of Will and JP doing a Grand Tour on Stef's yacht. I bet this will be the one trip to Europe where some CAP characters get to see the sights with no drama derailing their plans at all.

    Chapter 78

I, too, am sad that Caroline turned out to be so scheming and self-serving, and apparently not even that good at it. I don't see her fading away into exile, though. Pretty sure we haven't heard the last of her. Daventry and Granger continue to reap the rewards of their adventures in Russia. Poor Daventry seems condemned to be eternally eclipsed by Granger, though. Looking forward to their summer travels. Thanks, Mark, this was another fantastic chapter.
  7. They're pretty minor characters but Isidore and Frank are super cute.

    Chapter 83

And so it begins...we can only hope that Travis is getting as good advice as Will is. Thanks, Mark. Great chapter.

    Chapter 77

I have no insider knowledge but I tend to agree that Granger's seafaring days are not over.

    Chapter 77

The first half of this chapter was hilarious, with Granger's arrival at the epicenter of London fashion in his outlandish Russian ensemble followed by a shopping spree that even Stef would have envied. I'm also really happy that Granger and Daventry will remain peers (in the colloquial sense) by getting the same promotion and appointment, with the addition of an estate (Rugby!) and knighthood for Daventry to further even things up. Caroline will be incensed that she missed all the pomp and circumstance. Wonderful chapter, Mark. Thanks!

    Chapter 82

I love that Marie commented on the lack of drama. We're definitely at the start of a major CAP-style rollercoaster.

    Chapter 81

Wow, things are potentially looking pretty dire for Travis. I love how much he trusts Brad to give him honest, unbiased financial advice. Too funny about Claire and Scott Slater. Also Brad's reaction. Although I guess it did spare him from getting hit on by Scott, himself. 😀 Interesting approach to solving Will's college dilemma. Thanks, Mark.
  13. Omg, the things Maddie could get up to in preschool!
  14. Y'all are assuming Will can't create enough drama to fill a book all by himself.

    Chapter 80

There's definitely more going on here than is readily apparent. I've no doubt Mark has some tricks up the proverbial sleeve. Still waiting for the big showdown with Curtis Buck. Awesome chapter, Mark! Thank you.
  16. The thing is, Will's not you average kid from California. He has unlimited access to two private jets so being near the ocean or having warmer weather doesn't have to be a deciding factor for him. The academic program would be the strongest motivator, with proximity to family second. I also don't think he would be that interested in oceanography as a field of study. He's made it very clear that surfing is a hobby for him, and I think that attitude would extend to the ocean as a whole. On the other hand, he's taken advantage of every opportunity to get involved in the running of various family businesses, as well as building his own investment portfolio, since he was about 13. I think Mark is setting him up as the logical successor to Stef's and Brad's collective empire so his education will likely reflect that path.
  17. I couldn't agree more. It can be a consideration, but there are so many more important things to take into account.

    Chapter 79

Omg, the thought of Claire and the slightly creepy Scott Slater together is kind of hilarious. But, hey, if wild oats need to be sown, it doesn't get wilder than that. 😀 I think Will has a lot of reasons to stay in the Bay area for college but he's clearly still conflicted. Looking forward to learning what he decides. Thanks for another awesome chapter, Mark.

    Chapter 76

Despite the drama with Caroline and St. Vincent, it seems like things are going really well for Granger during his time back in England. I'm glad Cavendish and Daventry are going to stick around. So, how high up the peerage ladder will this promotion take him? It would be nice if he could have precedence over Freddie but that might be asking too much.
  20. I didn't get the impression Will enjoyed his recent visit to Harvard. I voted for Stanford but Cal would probably work as well, if you want to mix things up a little given the large number of characters who went to Stanford. He might get conflicted at sports events, though.

    Chapter 78

I really loved this chapter. Will's conversations with Travis and Marie were both thoughtful and thought-provoking. Looking forward to seeing where you take the story on both fronts.
  22. I just earned a badge for voting in your poll. I'm turning into a GA overachiever, just accumulating the awards. Haha.
  23. Let's find him another role. Haha.
  24. Maybe Ethan Peck for Brad/Will? His eyes would need to be a little greener, though.
  25. Janice had no relation to JP, other than "cousin-in-law." Tonto, who was Billy's and Steven's mother, Stephan's grandmother, was the sister of JP's father, Jack Crampton.
