    Pretty soon it's going to be wet as well. 🌊🌊🌊🏖️ Awesome chapter, Mark! Will knows how to throw a house party. And apparently a plane party as well. I really enjoyed getting the staff's perspective on the changes at the Foundation.

    Travis's coming out scene was super sweet. I'm glad he will have more of a support system for the rest of the school year. I'm also happy Sierra seems to be doing ok. Will's line when she landed in his lap was pure comedy. I'm interested to see where you're going with his sexual epiphany...and how Travis takes it. Thanks, Mark. Another fantastic chapter!

    @methodwriter85, who's left? I've completely lost track. Do we have a Patrick? I have no recollection of how Mark described him but I picture dark and a bit brooding. Plus I think his age is more or less correct. At some point, it might be good to summarize the casting list. Twenty-four pages over 12+ years is a lot.

Awesome news about your vacation plans If you're planning to visit Brighton (and I highly recommend that you do), make time to visit the Royal Pavilion to get some perspective on HRH the Prince of Wales. Unless you've seen it already...no one should be subjected to that monstrosity twice. Haha. Edited to add: My husband, who is from Brighton, describes it as England's San Francisco: very hilly, very hippie, very gay.

    Except for Miami. I can definitely see Will in South Beach and I believe UM has a pretty solid football program. Not advocating for this. Just sayin' the city exists.

    MOMA has great art but is an awful experience. The crowds are insane. The Met is cool but can be a bit overwhelming. My favorite in NYC is the Frick. There's something delightful about old mansions filled with a family's private collection.

    I really need to re-read the beginning of this book. The first two years of the pandemic are kind of a blur for me and I have no recollection of these characters or events. Counting clownfish sounds like an ideal occupation. And I bet working for the government of the Cook Islands is way more fun than working for ours.

    Mark, I think you've finally managed to convert the last holdouts in the "Don't Hate Zach" camp. Someone turn out the lights before you shut that door behind you. Travis and Will's conversation about outing someone as a self-defense mechanism reminded me of when Brad spread rumors that Doug was gay to prevent Doug from outing him. I'm guessing Will doesn't know about that particular episode of Brad's past. Thanks for another awesome chapter!

    @mmike1969 @methodwriter85 Will has proven himself on a number of occasions to be proficient at stocking the beach house with snacks. In Malibu he doesn't consider himself the host, despite Brad's owning the house, so he'd expect someone else to take responsibility for procuring the snacks. For sure, none of these guys (or even Claire?) would be able to produce anything more nourishing other than by ordering pizza. Although I'd venture a guess that Tony's mother taught him to cook and he actually enjoys it.

    So Travis has a dark side? That was both interesting and unexpected. I'm glad he's found a safe place to land (in Will's bedroom). It also seems like Cam is a lot better when there's a focused agenda and everyone's expectations are managed. Thanks, Mark! This was a fun chapter.

    From chapter 47: "I turned to see Curtis Buck strolling toward us. He was about 5’10” tall, with gray hair and a stocky body that made him look solid, not fat. He looked like a caricature of what you’d expect a communist to draw when they thought of an American capitalist pig." AMH is closer to what I was imagining. I think Terry Serpico might still be too in hot/in shape for Curtis. You're probably overestimating my ability to recognize people. I think I have some kind of facial agnosia. All actors pretty much look the same to me. 🙂 Nicky.

    I'm glad Will managed to act as a mediator between Claire and John and Marie. I guess his experience fighting with Brad is paying off. Will's conversations with Zach and Travis suggest this upcoming trip to Malibu may be even more interesting that usual. Thanks, Mark! Happy Friday.
