  1. CJ, Brett, and Cesar met me early on while we were all riding the Skyline Drive, we went riding together in South Florida, and I was at CJ and Owen's wedding. I bet when I'm frail and in a wheelchair, CJ will still keep in touch.
  2. Yep, I was right. Y'all a bunch of blood-thirsty readers. Glad you enjoyed this installment, and I'll see what I can do about Northman. Maybe the US should open a consulate in Yellowknife and post him there.
  3. Thanks, Jose. And thanks again for beta reading that other story. I'm surprised at the blood lust over Northman. I mean, the man's an obnoxious jerk, but he probably doesn't deserve all the abuse. LOL Anyway, CJ will work for the State Department twice more; maybe we'll run into him again. I mean, I kept Fernando Llorosa around when Malibu ended just so I could give CJ a go at him. I'm enjoying recycling idiots.
  4. Thanks, Chris. And thanks for the review. Twenty years later, Margaret Cox will be in her sixties. All that experience better be put to good use by President Abello.
  5. Me a sap? Excuse me, but who was sobbing? LMAO Glad you enjoyed it, my friend.
  6. It's up, it's up. But I'm going back down to sleep for another half hour. LOL
  7. Yeah... I guess...
  8. Sometimes, the aperture's so small, no matter how hard you push, the button won't go in...
  9. He's a pain in the butt. But he's lovable anyway. I really miss his stories, and unless he gives us something to read soon, I may have CJ run him over when he and Owen go to Michigan for a wedding.
  10. When I published Singer, I promised regular updates on Chipper. Just keeping my word.
  11. LMAO
  12. Aussie's come up with great nicknames. LOL

“LIEBE! CJ!” Owen’s arrival and shouts coincided with Lincoln groaning and rolling onto his back. “Oshieee…” Liebe’s cry was accompanied by sobs, tears streaking down her face, and snot streaming from her nose. She crawled a couple of inches before Owen scooped her into his arms. “Are you okay, Munchkin? Are you hurt anywhere?” The girl wailed louder when she noticed her other father laying in a pool of blood underneath her kidnapper. “Ceej! He’s hurt! Help him, Oshie.” “Some
  14. Dakota sounds like a good ole Southern boy. Great use of the prompt and writing what you know and hear.
  15. I wonder how that name came about. @drpaladin, you're always good with word roots. Ideas?
  16. Tomorrow morning around this time. Around lunchtime for you.
  17. Leave him alone. He's busy designing the cliffhanger one.
  18. I tend to expand on details in the comments. Sometimes it's just to clarify a point, others I'm simply wanting to drop hints of what's coming.
  19. LOL - Go back and read what I said to spark Frosenblum's comment.
  20. You can find out details I reveal in the comments not included in the chapter. We're now over 200.
  21. It may take a while... I'm thinking of recycling Northman when CJ becomes ambassador to Cuba.
  22. It's okay to be upset with those you love... I KNOW you love me.
  23. I waited a bit to mention the publishing day, and figured it'd get lost amongs the other comments. You're the first one to react.
  24. Hey! I spilled blood in this chapter. I'd like to point out @Kitt also pointed out your serial killer approach to characters.
  25. I have most of those details outlined. I've delayed further Squad spinoffs due to lack of time and not wanting to write about them in the same time frame. Because I'm working on two multi-chapter stories set in 2027, I may have to at least start Biker and Baker, posting the opening chapter then waiting for the main story to catch up. I did that with Thiago and I hesitate to have multiple incomplete stories. Something to figure out over the next few months.
