Actually this might be on the right track. Since the Scar is obviously an environmentalist, he must be extremely concerned about the rising sea levels do to global warming. In an effort to make an inland sea, it just might lower the overall ocean level by a fraction, thus protecting the million of Aussies living on the coastline. Wow Viv, that was quite a entry. First of all, sorry to hear about your car. Hopefully the police do follow up with hooker girl's mom and she gets the message loud and clear. Hi All, I'm too a wee bit late posting. First and foremost, I want to thank CJ, Emoe, Graeme, Bondwriter, Shadowgod, Joe and all others for getting out the chapter. I know we gave you some ribbing on not being their Tuesday, but I'm sure we all appreciate the hard work you put into getting a chapter to us on a regular basis. One of the reason that I didn't post for a few days, is because of something that CJ mentioned way back when in FTL, that he put clues in the stories to give some insight to future events. So, I have read the chapter four times now , and still not convinced on what the brothers and Helen are hiding from Brandon. All I can figure is when Helen gave Eric the "look" when he mentioned that Brandon wasn't undercover anymore, it that the photo shoot is going to be for a cover shot. So I agree with the rest of you. Actually CJ, I'm glad you did include the pictures of Devil's Throat, as I was really confused with the description of the falls. By mentioning Niagara Falls, I was trying to picture your written description with my memory of Niagara, which wasn't working out. After seeing the pictures, I realized what you meant by the canyon, and the layout much better. Thanks . Now as far as the introduction of Jerry, I'm glad to see that my reference back in chapter one about the :nuke: icon, had you give us a clue that their would be a character named Jerry . Just curious, did your original draft have a Jerry character, or was that amazing goat brain in overdrive to figure out how to put it in the story? Great chapter CJ, and hopefully Chase isn't too bummed out, as he seemed, about Brandon breaking off the hug. Amazing how sensitive he can be . Graeme, since our countries are all chummy after the recent APEC meeting, would you consider a "commonwealth" take over of GA? No conspiracies here!!! Now knowing the riducule and harassment that I will endure, I am proudly a member of The Herd . But like anyone who is in a pack, or herd, we all have the herd mentality. We're not individuals at all. If CJ leads us to the edge of a cliff, we will not hang off the edge, we will follow him right over the edge. It is after all in CJ we follow (could be a good thing, could be a bad thing). Besides, doesn't that whole "I am proudly a member of The Herd" have a nice ring to it. Steve
