    @Bucket1 meant to type "bloody" once and autocorrect changed it to "bluefish", so since then we've been using 'bluefish'. Grape jelly and chili sauce is a tasty combination. I've used it with meatballs and it's always a hit.

    Yeah they're quite intuitive. Mine always seem to know when I'm having a bad day. That's great the cats are comforting your mom.

    Thanks The cats seem to be adjusting. They both appeared when I got home, even though the guy was still working on the bathroom. He's doing a great job so far. I can't wait till it's all finished Joker is still quite loudly telling me all about it. Hopefully he'll get it out of his system and let me sleep. The sinus pressure is better at the moment. Now it's moving to my chest, I think. Bleh.

    Good morning. There are a few snow flurries, but nothing like yesterday. The next few days are supposed to be decent--AKA no snow--until Sunday, when we're supposed to get another few inches. I have a headache and my sinuses are killing me. I didn't get much sleep last night, thanks to the sinus pressure and the cats. They decided they needed to inform me loudly and repeatedly--as in all freaking night--about the bathroom renovation. 🙄

    They were traumatized. I set up the spare room upstairs for them with food and water and a litterbox. My mom said they hung out up there under the bed all day. They came down once I got home though and seem fine now. Although they're dying to get into the bathroom and check it out. lol

    Well the bathroom reno has started The walls are gutted and the vanity has been removed If all goes according to plan, it should be finished by March 12th So in other words, it should be done by the beginning of April...

    You nailed each species characteristics. I can picture them both perfectly. I love the image of the blue jay and its rakish slant. Makes me picture someone who's good-looking and knows it. Nice job, as always

    Oh I will But probably not until next week. I've been crazy busy getting caught up on reports. The intern isn't too bad, but I have to repeat myself constantly. I feel like a parrot instead of a penguin

    Thanks I've had a sore throat all week and haven't been feeling well. Not enough for me to stay home, but enough to make me feel a bit worn down. So of course, it picks today to hit. It's not full-fledged ebola or *gasp* manflu, but more a sinus thing. If I don't feel well this afternoon I'm going to leave early. I probably will anyway so I miss the worst of the snow.

    I have to do a training at work all morning so what happens? I have laryngitis. So I feel sorry for everyone who has to listen to my raspy, croaky voice today. It's also another sucky weather day. We're supposed to get 5-8" of snow. But at least it's only snow and not a snow/ice/rain mix. According to the weatherman, this is the first snow in February that's only snow! On a positive note... the bathroom reno starts today!

    Yeah I've ridden gaited horses before, but not the tolt. There's a farm that raises Icelandics near one of my BFFs. She went to a show they held there once and took some video. It was quite different from the hunter/jumper and dressage shows I used to compete in.
