Yeah they like their routine. Mine tend to be skittish anyway, so this will really not make them happy. They're normally not allowed in the rooms upstairs, but I'm going to put food and a litter box in the smaller room so they have a 'safe place' to hide.

The bathroom renovation starts on Monday, so my mom is coming over to help me finish getting ready for it. They said about a week and half to complete, but I'm figuring more like three. Contractors are never right with their time estimates I feel bad for the cats. They're going to be traumatized by all the noise and activity. But I can't wait for my new bathroom to be done

Like Parker and Dr. P, I can't say I ascribe emotion to everyday actions, but I understand the impulse to. I have certain activities, routines... certain songs and movies, tv shows, etc. that are indelibly marked with emotional moments in my life. Your approach seems to be helping you, so keeping it up sounds like a good idea. I'm sorry you've been struggling. -
That's good she's meeting with the landlords. So hopefully she'll take care of her rent obligation. It sounds like a good things she's moving out. I know what it's like to have less than stellar roomies.

Two weeks notice is not acceptable. Your flatmate should pay for their portion of next month's rent, at the very least. Thirty days notice is what's standard around here, unless otherwise specified in a contract or lease.

The thing I like about Ramsay is there's a purpose to everything he does. He's tough when he has to be, and gives praise when it's due. I agree.. he's awesome with the kids. Cutthroat Kitchen is awesome! I've seen every episode. I wish they'd bring it back. I love Alton Brown, although he's slipped a bit in my estimation ever since he dissed Buffalo and chicken wings.
