  1. Happy Birthday, Drewbie!!
  2. Sorry to dig this one up from so deep, but if you really want to know where our Wizardly leader got his name from, then I suggest that you go read Harry Potter - Parliament of Dreams. You will find the answer there. I'm not going to tell you where to find it. You'll have to find it yourself. You can click on Myr below in my signature for a quick link to his site.
  3. Here's a point of interest. While everyone except myself are authors, and those authors are eligible for nomination when it's time for The Awards. I'd like to point out that three of us on the poll list are members of CJ's team. So based on Krista's post, an opinion vote for any of us, is an opinion vote for CJ.
  4. Actually, I'm a Bird of Prey, with Talons of Steel.
  5. I find it strange that he's starting to abuse his team.
  6. This is all too true. I think he's trying out a new job, that of Campaign Manager. And a sneaky one at that.
  7. I think the 2009 Awards is going to be interesting this year. There's a lot of authors deserving of the title King of Cliffhangers. I edit for one. And like I've said elsewhere, at least I admit to writing a cliffhanger in the forums.
  8. My dad was nine years older than my mom and they were together for just over 50 years.
  9. Now that Changing Lanes is completed, there won't be any cliffhanger endings for new readers as they can just go to the next chapter and get the ending resolved.
  10. Now I could be wrong, and I sometimes am, but I think the Crown will find a new home in the next Awards. After all, there are a lot of other deserving authors around here.
  11. Does this mean we can take his Crown away from him and give it to someone else?
  12. It's already been stated that there won't be a third story. I'm not sure what CJ could do to top the other two. I'm also thinking, that if CJ should change his mind and try a third story in the series, it will be a long time coming. We already know he has a couple of projects he's working on, or will be working on. He's already told us about them. Sorry to be such a downer on this. I enjoyed working with CJ and the rest of the team on this story, even tho I came in late. The only bad part, I had to watch what I said. So in closing, I'll say, Good Job to CJ and the rest of the team on a magnificent story.
  13. I liked the way that Eric and Jansen got Brian and Keith to finally open their eyes.
  14. We've had plenty of rain in my area this summer too.
  15. You can take your pick. I've re-opened the poll topic for comments a few hours early.
  16. But, but, I'm not an author. So I can't be nominated. And I openly admitted to writing one.
  17. And with that being said, let the roasting begin.
  18. And that my friend is the key. I don't deny it.
  19. Don't your Majesty, I've got Talons of Steel, and beak to match!
  20. I have to agree with Tim, if you're not comfortable with the idea, then don't do it.
  21. I'll just say that soon all the answers will come out, one way or another. On the other had, when the last parts are posted next week, I will be re-opening the poll topic that I started and closed. I know some of you are disappointed you couldn't comment. You'll get your chance to roast CJ and myself.
  22. Yes, being Security for Instinct does seem to be hazardous to one's well being.
  23. I'd have to say Eric for the Tequila.
