  1. Who me? LOL
  2. BTW, if you want to find out who I met, checkout my blog.
  3. Kevin, sorry to hear about your loss. Don't beat yourself up for not going to see him. I agree with what CJ said. To this day, I still remember the happy, and some of the not so happy times spent with a close friend.
  4. Nice, a visual aid to help with the story.
  5. Fortunately, I got to see it in English, otherwise it would have been difficult for me to edit.
  6. Catchy little title for not having written one for awhile. Not that long ago, I found out someone was going to be in the area for a day at Hershey Park. I sent an email to see if he'd like to meet up since I only live about an hour and a half away from the park. The day started out a little cool and rainy. Fortunately, it quite just before the park opened for the day. And just to make sure I was easily identified, I wore my yellow Talon T-shirt, the same one I took a picture of and use for my avatar. Strangely enough, I think we spotted each other at about the same time. By now you're probably wondering, "who in the hell is he talking about?" Well, I'll tell you. It was Myr and his two traveling companions. We had a great day. Our first ride for the day was Fahrenheit 97 Degrees. On this coaster you get pulled up straight up on the lift hill. Once you reach the top and you go over it, you drop at a 97 degree angle. The fun part of the day came when we were getting ready to ride Lightening Racers. Myr and I had just gotten in the front car. At one point, I turned to him and said, "what's the matter, can't you get it in?" At which point he grabbed it in both hands and got the seat belt buckled. This coaster has a dual restraint system, lap bar and seat belt. While I was holding my half up of the belt, Myr was trying to connect his half and was having problems hitting the buckle. I believe Myr will be posting documented proof we were there. Myr and I have been chatting for probably close to 3 years and it was very nice to meet him in person.
  7. I saw it earlier this morning but I didn't have time to to send or say anything about it. One of the typos I spotted was you said wile instead of while. Had you run it past your team first, it wouldn't have happened. And before you say it was meant to be a surprise, don't, I knew about it. I was going to Hershey Park today to meet one of my internet friends. Someone we all know.
  8. I've said this before, the last time Eric had some tequila, he was relatively quiet. So the question is, will he be tame Eric or will he be wild Eric? Only CJ and the team know for sure.
  9. Sometimes an author likes to bring team members, or a fan, into a chapter. I don't think I've seen an author include themselves quite like this. Tim used CJ and myself in some of his chapters. You'll notice Garam Sarr in my signature. That comes from The Scrolls of Icara and at some point in the future, I'll be making another appearance both by Talon and Jan.
  10. Right now everyone has other things on their minds.
  11. Yeah, but the first time they were all together at a resort, an area go nuked.
  12. Not that I'm saying anything, but I could be helping to raise your future sales or save you money.
  13. This was a delightful story to work on with CJ. It had me in stitches. It might surprise you to hear what he had been doing before he wrote it, then again, it might not. I think he's found the way to lighten the mood of a story. Good job CJ.
  14. You might want to hold off on that for now.
  15. I think the beast could fend off attackers better than a goat could.
  16. And I'll just add, that he did quite well with it editing wise.
  17. I was wondering the same thing. I've never explored that option, but I do know that if you click the X to close the browser, and you have multiple tabs, it will give me the open to save or close. Then the next time I open FF, it gives me the option to restore the previous session or start a new one.
  18. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BOB.
  19. I have Vista on my laptop and I've no problems with it.
  20. I use Firefox at home and work. A website that I go to to place an order isn't compatible with FF. However, since I had downloaded the IE option to FF, I use it and it fools the site. FF is skinalbe also, but they don't seem to update them, so some of them become incompatible after an upgrade or two.
  21. He must like big bangs.
  22. I'll never tell. And since I am older than CJ.
  23. The question is, how long will the calm remain before all hell breaks loose?
  24. Welcome Drew. Congratulations to you both.
  25. While working on another project today for Jamie, author of "The Scrolls of Icaria", he addresses cliffhangers. With his permission, I'm going to post his answer to the question.
