  1. Since CJ won't tell you what's in the boxes, I will.
  2. I recently watched an episode of Andrew Zimers Bizarre Foods, The Travel Channel, in which he was served some sliced, raw goats balls. So for some cultures, you don't need a recipe.
  3. Warning to CJ. Stay away from Miami. There's a restaurant in the area that serves Goat Head soup for breakfast on Saturday's.
  4. I wasn't voting. I was merely stating fact.
  5. Let's not forget that CJ will always be known as the first King.
  6. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LINEX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Nominations are done by the membership. Once the nominations are tallied, we then post the candidates and categories for the voting. When we open the nominations, an announcement will be posted listing the categories. It will also contain the rules and who to send the nominations too.
  8. Trevor's quarters are a bit cramped, but he does have his choice of 4 suites to choose from when no one else is aboard.
  9. There are a lot of authors that can be nominated. It's the top three to five nominees that will make it to the actual voting. Any of the ladies that are nominated and by chance win, will be know as the Queen of Cliffhangers.
  10. Yes, and I pointed that out to you also. I've also let EmulatedLove know he could get nominated because of his stories. Graemes indictment may have been from 2007, but he did give us some cliffhangers with The Price of Friendship. I can verify that CJ did not know about the rule change until it appeared for official discuss with the WST. I had held a pm discussion with the rest of the team earlier in the year. He did make a post, but it was to register his surprise. When it comes to Award discussions, he does not vote.
  11. There are several that can be nominated for it this year. dkstories, EmulatedLove, and Graeme, just to mention some. I've already started ribbing EM about it in the discussion for American Difference in eFiction.
  12. Thanks everyone. I had a good day. I took the day off from work. I went and got my hair cut getting ready for my annual Christmas trip to see family and friends. What made the cut nice was, the place I go to gave it to me FREE. It seems for every 10 cuts, you get one free. I even got to beta read a chapter.
  13. After I read some of the chapters, I was curious at where they were at, so I opened up google maps and found them.
  14. From one birthday boy to another, HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHNATHAN.
  15. I think the best two things for me this year was getting to meet two of my internet friends, both of whom are authors, Jamie of Icaria and Myr.
  16. The problem with big cats is they are territorial and if these two get together, there's going to be a problem.
  17. Don't feel too bad Steve. I'd only last 34 seconds.
  18. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BENJI!!!!!!
  19. One would think that if I'm involved.
  20. He also pulled a fast one on us. He said elsewhere he was going to do his Tuesday postings.
  21. Yes, this topic has been approved.
  22. I was the one who found that forum and pointed it out to CJ. He was the one who found Graeme there. Since the announcement thread for last years awards had been moved to the WST forums, I can't give you a link to it, you won't get in. It reflects the rule change made making Graeme, and other authors, eligible.
  23. And speaking of Graeme, did anyone know that at one point, another website had enacted their own Penal Code and was searching for Graeme for a cliffhanger?
  24. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIM
  25. I've said the something similar to him in my responses after reading the chapters, and here's what he had to say.
