  1. Okay, that leaves just one of the poll questions to be answered. Will Brian and Keith find each other? I've left you with a cliffhanger of my own here. With two chapters and the epilogue left, when will we find out?
  2. I'm sure, out there somewhere, is someone who will mourn for Jerry. OH, wait. Their both dead.
  3. Now that the immediate danger has been dealt with, let's not forget that Eric and Brandon are still in hot water.
  4. Of course he'll get better, he's got a goat to go after.
  5. This poll is now closed. The results are as follows. Does Eric die? Yes: 0 No: 13 Does Brandon die? Yes: 0 No: 13 Does The Scar die? Yes: 12 No: 1 Does Felicia die? Yes: 3 No: 10 Will Brian and Keith find each other? Yes: 13 No: 0 The answers to these questions and more, will be revealed soon.
  6. There's not much time left to get your vote in. The poll will close when the next chapter goes up.
  7. WELCOME BACK STEVE.
  8. Due to the short time this poll will be active, the questions and answers are simple. Since we are getting close to the end, the time limit to vote will be until CJ posts the next chapter.
  9. There are a lot of unanswered questions that still need to be answered. They might even make for an interesting poll.
  10. This is something that I've noticed a long time ago. They seem to pick something out of the story. If you've ever looked at the banner on Dom's site? Most of the time it's for bankruptcy. Usually Chapter 7 and Chapter 11.
  11. Take your time and do this right. But hurry back, teasing the Goat isn't nearly as much fun without you.
  12. That is great to hear.
  13. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKE
  14. HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRANK
  15. It was a very pleasant three hours today. I met up with Jamie and a friend of his. I must admit, that he was quite how I had pictured him. I thought he'd be taller than he was based on a picture that I've see when we chat online. We met up at a Holiday Inn and went inside to sit in the restaurant and talk. It closed at 11:00 am after serving breakfast and they don't open for lunch on Saturdays. So we wound up sitting outside on the balcony, overlooking the pool. We sat there and talked for two hours and not once did anyone come up to us and ask if were were guests. We finally left there and went to a local diner where we spent another hour or so, eating and talking. I'd say we spent about 90% of the time talking about The Scrolls.
  16. Has anyone else noticed how CJ quietly slipped past the 8,000 posts mark? At the time of those topic starting, CJ had 8,012 posts.
  17. What's that? You ask. Plans are in the works for 8/1/09 to meet another of my internet friends. This isn't just an ordinary friend. He also happens to be my favorite off site author. I'm talking about Jamie, author of 'The Scrolls of Icaria'. Jamie contacted me, via chat, this past Sunday to let me know he would be flying in Monday and wanted to know if I wanted to get together, providing his schedule allowed it. He's here on business. Even tho he was born and raised in the Harrisburg, PA area, he calls Belgium home. Via two emails today, we're making plans for this weekend. If you like sci-fi/fantasy, you'll like T.S.O.I. It's a story about boys with wings and their search for their home/kingdom. Back in late April, early May, I did a complete proof read of Book 1 for Jamie. Over the years, Jamie has corrected various errors that slipped thru the editing process and since I probably know the story as well has him and his editor, Jamie asked me if I would do this for him and I did. Once this was done, all the chapters and interludes were re-posted so that now anyone new finding the story, will find the best possible copy. If you do decide to read it, don't be in a big hurry to go thru it. Jamie has hidden lots of clues thru out the story. The proofreading that I did was the fifth time for me to read Book 1 and I still found things I missed before. And if you read it looking for sex, you won't find it. Jamie doesn't write sex, he'll hint to something happening, but he doesn't write.
  18. This is another good chapter. And I've seen a lot of good comments. Jerry has himself to blame for Yuri. After all, he's the one who sent him over to talk.
  19. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, YOUR SHADOWINESS.
  20. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAMES!!!!!!!!!
  21. Which means those of us on the east coast have to wait until 2 pm for the posting.
  22. I'm surprised no one picked up on the name of the goat. Apparently, royalty runs in the goat family. Here we have "King George" stuck upside down in a tree. And, we have our own hillside dwelling, "King CJames".
  23. REALLY GOT HER GOAT: Cooking spray doesn't help get goats out of trees. That's the lesson learned by Alysia Krafel, 59, of Red Bluff, Calif. Krafel arrived home to find "King George", her 215-pound goat, hanging from an oak tree by a hoof, after apparently climbing up in the tree to eat leaves. "I sprayed Pam all over everything to try and grease it," she said, but that didn't help him get free. Krafel and a neighbor had to cut the tree down to release the animal. A reporter asked her if the goat learned a lesson from the ordeal. Well no, she said -- "He's a goat." (Red Bluff Daily News) ...Dumb reporter! Why didn't he ask the goat directly?
  24. Hey Steve. Welcome back. It's good to see you in good spirits. Keep your chin up.
